The seller never has access to your money until you "receive" and accept the items. So if you get a designer item you have questions about take it to your nearest high-end consignment. If you find the item is not real simply let CS know under the accepting. Tell them what the problem is. More likely than not you will get a return request label. Just send it back and all your money if refunded. On Poshmark all items over $500 are automatically sent to a Posh center to be authenticated before its sent to you. The best way to know your getting the real deal is buy from again a local high-end consignment or an online that specializes in only a few brands rather than any. It takes a lot of training to become an expert on authentication.
You need to call the Corporate Brand Office directly and report the counterfeit itemal along with the seller name and address. Vinted is KNOWN yo NEVER issued a return label so in this case you need to call your to put a stop payment and report this transaction as FRAUD.
Agree with Bonnie. C. You only have pictures to go by and the information given by the seller. This is the problem I had with Vinted. Someone sold me something I wasn't happy with. The seller had taken great pictures of the item but when I received the item I noticed plenty of flaws which had not been disclosed. The Vinted staff were not helpful when I disputed this and they sided with the seller so due to poor customer service and uncertainty for the buyer I never used that site again.
