I was scan and try lots of time in 48 hours to talk with customer service, they never replay and it's said I would get my money back, €440 and no customer protection like they said.
No customer service, had been using vinted regularly without issues until a buyer recieved a parcel that had clearly been run over and mishandled, items were missing from the bag. Buyer got compensated, and vinted just sent me messages fobbing me off saying I packaged it incorrectly.ive followed all packaging standards adequately, had 30+ transactions without problems. Now I'm £30 down and NO GOODS RECIEVED BACK. DISGRACEFUL. NO SUPPORT FOR SELLERS REMINDS ME WHY I LEFT EBAY
Some OK sellers on Vinted, but when you get a scammer - & you will, as Vinted help them to thrive - then Vinted will blank you. So-called "Customer service* cut you off, as all they care about is taking a cut regardle$$ of who gets ripped-off or how un-safe their dodgy site is - they even have cheek to charge 'buyer protection' fee, so that if /WHEN you need help, you'll soon realise it's useless - Bl**dy awful company :(

JIHED who works there is VERY SPITEFUL and will find any reason to block your items. He is truly disgusting to say the least. He hates that you make money on the site. I've made close to 1k so far. All he does is pocket watch! Get a life Jihed!
The worst customer service and worst scammers. I purchased sunglasses that apparently was counterfeit and didn't get any refund. Vinted just stated that this is my own fault.
I had a seller grossly misrepresent the item they were the wrong size (Medium not XS) in the wrong demographic (Girls not Womens) and were clearly used when seller advertised as brand new. I sent pictures to Vinted as requested so they could clearly see the item had been misrepresented. Instead of helping me obtain a refund, they required that I contact the seller and ask permission for refund despite having made me collect the evidence! Then they made me contact the seller again after I already was forced to send them a screenshot of the seller authorizing return, to ask her if she required the return of the items before Vinted would authorize a refund to me! They are profiting off of us buyers yet they offer no accountability whatsoever.
Then today I received a response from Vinted regarding an order that I never received. They tracked it and confirmed it was sent but never delivered and said because the post office must have lost the package if I wanted any recovery I would have to contact the seller myself and ask her to eat half of the cost with me. Despite the profits they're making off buyers and sellers they take no accountability for these mishaps. Really pathetic.
First I have to put at least one star enable to write a review but for me if there are a minus stars I'll do it Vinted they protect only buyer I sold jacket and was absolutely in very good condition after the buyer received it she sent a picture for a ripped totally different jacket and asked for refund after I reject the return and asked the buyer to send more picture what she did she ripped my jacket and send a picture anyone can see that the first picture she send and claimed its my jacket not for the same jacket she ripped but vinted team decided to do the return
I purchased a purse from a member on Vinted and when it arrived it was damaged, (two small holes, a stain and scratches on the metal parts). The original advertisement stated that the purse was new and obviously the purse was not new as it would not have these imperfections. Regardless seller should have stated. Anyway thinking that Vinted has a money back guarantee if the item is damaged I write to them and send them pictures. Expecting the money back in my account that day I instead get an email saying that they can't help, all they can suggest is reselling the item on. By this point I am crazy mad and send them an email saying how am I supposed to sell a damaged purse on? No one is going to want to buy it? I get an email back saying they are sorry I am annoyed but the damage is not and I quote "substantial enough". I'm sorry but if the item is described as new surely any damage is damage and now new no matter how small? If you had purchased it from a shop you would be taking it straight back and demanding a full refund. Anyway they send me another email saying all they can recommend is reselling and then have the cheek to say I must list all the flaws if I intend on reselling?! Well according to you there are new flaws so **** you I most definitely wont be. Left £10 and very angry.
This app is disgusting! Firstly they only use email as a form of customer service which is disgusting because all they do is ignore your email! Theres no phone number to call and they can block your account whenever they feel like it. They have blocked my account this morning and are not letting me have access to my MONEY! Thieving bastards! I have over £800 pending as a transaction to my bank and a futher £50 in my pending balance!

A lot of times it goes well but somehow there are these scammers in France and Italy that scam you they'll break and cut your product on purpose so they get a refund and lie about it to vinted unfortunately they are the ones who are protected and not you i don't know why but even if you buy from them and the product isn't wat you want they always win vinted protects them and not you maybe vinted is biased to france and Italy who knows just watch out with to who you're selling and buying

I really do not recommend selling on here, buyers can get away with anything, Vinted provide no protection, its up to you and the buyer to resolve the issue and then Vinted make the final decision in a dispute but I don't know if they even look at the facts. The buyer wanted to return it because of the quality and fit and damaged the item and Vinted refunded her. Another thing you don't know until you have a dispute is that they do not make buyers return goods - they will refund the buyer but say its up to the buyer if they choose to return the goods, so you are not paid and do not receive the item back. You need to have receipts for everything as if the buyer questions if its fake (even an ordinary non designer item) if you can't provide it then they will refund the buyer. So disappointed I didn't listen to all the hundreds of reviews, its not worth it. And there is no comeback when anything goes wrong as they are registered abroad so you can't report them to trading standards like you can with a UK company.

I have been scammed by a seller on Vinted. Instead of two items I bought I was sent two bits of cardboard. The 'joker' thought it would be funny to also include a candy cane! I am not laughing

If an item doesnt match the description, they will not help get your money back. Happened to me twice even though I had good pictures of the damage of the clothes.
Sold an $80 bag that needed more postage. Vinted encourages you to add your own postage if needed so I did just that and now they've suspended the transaction because I did EXACTLY WHAT THEY SUGGESTED. I showed proof of the delivery along with proof that I advised the buyer of the situation and no one has responded to me, not even the buyer to confirm they received it (of course). Now I'm out a bag and $80, major scam.
SCAMMERS! Awful awful company. Avoid at all costs. Tracking label they provided for shipping did not work, so I paid for my own to meet the deadline provided by Vinted. Despite the customer confirming they had received the goods the tracking also confirming, Vinted thought it would be a good idea to reimburse the customer and refuse to pay me. Their resolution is for me to re-list the item and the customer re-purchase, which of course they haven't. They are refusing to offer any further help and now no longer responding to my messages. Can you believe scammers like these operate through so called legitimate companies, just look through the thousands of negative reviews. AVOID THESE AT ALL COSTS BEFORE YOU ARE SCAMMED!
I purchased an item and the money left my account. Next day seller refused to send me what I bought because I didn't have any reviews on my account (because my account was new). Also he was super rude, pushing me to transfer him money to the bank account. Then told me to educate myself, because I empathized how the platform Vinted is created to protect buyers and sellers in a way of holding the amount paid for the goods by buyers - until they received the purchased good from the seller. In this case seller was arguing with me that I want to scam him and on the top of it told me good luck buying there. I don't see a point of this seller being present on the market if he just gives you hard time and don't send the items to you ( and money still gets to be held for a week or so). Ridiculous. Pay attention and don't by anything from the seller named "seller1515" because you'll be treated as trash and the customer support didn't even allow me to leave him a bad review. If there is zero start review - that is what they deserve.
Mods will take down your entire store or straight out ban you without warning or reason, but if you get scammed or a parcel gets lost by the courier they don't help you at all.
Answer: Well you can't. You need to do your homework when asking questions to a seller. Request additional pictures too. The seller never has access to your money until you "receive" and accept the items. So if you get a designer item you have questions about take it to your nearest high-end consignment. If you find the item is not real simply let CS know under the accepting. Tell them what the problem is. More likely than not you will get a return request label. Just send it back and all your money if refunded. On Poshmark all items over $500 are automatically sent to a Posh center to be authenticated before its sent to you. The best way to know your getting the real deal is buy from again a local high-end consignment or an online that specializes in only a few brands rather than any. It takes a lot of training to become an expert on authentication.
