The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

I did not realize this was a resale site. When I clicked on the Bruno Mars concert, this site immediately came up. I thought I was buying two tickets, ended up with three and a bill for $961.83. Anyway, the tickets were either taken from my home, or misplaced and I contacted Viagogo. They stated I could only replace them if they were e-tickets. ( I was not given the choice to have an e-ticket). They basically said to bad so sad. I even offered to pay a re-issue fee, but forget it. I will never to business with this company again. I am so upset over this loss.
Vigogo changed my seat 3 times with only hours to go before the show so had to accept what I was told was an upgrade it wasnt and spoiled my experience. Try to resolve a complaint and you dont get a reply, emails returned and when do finally get to talk to someone the phone call was dropped! Really frustrating and would never, never use these cowboys again. Bad, bad experience that unless you have time to sit at home chasing these rude people to resolve your issue you wont get anywhere
These people are scum, don't go anywhere near them. Hopefully the cops will find them sooner than later!
Be safe and even tho they look legitimate they are not. Buy your tickets from Tickettek or directly at the venue.
DIARY.

Tomorrow iff to the show and hopefully a seat
Literaly been heartbroken by VIAGOGO.
No guarantee that I can really attend the Coldplay concert that I have been looking forward for a long time. Ive booked airfare and hotel only to find out I dont have guaranteed tickets for the concert.
And They wont allow cancellation? The hell? Such a scam tactics!
Pick up point of tickets in STARBUCKs and no contact person time of pick up is already during concert already started? Really? They dont wantme to attend the concert? Why would they put time of pick up during all the people are alredy inside and no Name or no. If the hell that person wont show up? No chance I gotta have real tickets. So stupid of me that I fell for this scam! Do I need to ask starbucks if they got my tickets and ask for complimentary coffee!? Really VIAGOGO?
PLEASE DONT USE THIS COMPANY. On top of the hidden fees that were over $100.00 for 2 tickets of $165.00 each they also add up to 50% on the original ticket price so when you think you are buying a premium ticket it is most likely a general ticket and not even close to where they said.
NEVER AGAIN! Hope this helped
I feel I was scammed. Bought tickets for Ascot, which I now realize are more than twice face value. Charged excessive booking fees as well. Also, was lead to believe the tickets had actual seats, which they do not. Immediately tried to cancel but there is no website or phone number. I am now reporting this to my credit card company.
I have read a number of reviews with all the same problems. I too have been conned by paying exuberant fees. Not realizing that this was a resale site, I eagerly purchased tickets for village people only to be stung by paying double the amount. I have now listed these tickets for sale on Viagogo, hoping that I can recoup some of my costs. I need to ask questions: when will I have to pay for these tickets? As I have relisted them to sell, when will I receive payment, if sold. Questions that I cannot find answers to. A hotline number would be most beneficial. Afterthought, I should have checked these reviews first.
This site is utterly disgraceful. My mother purchased Bruno Mars tickets for myself and three sisters, 4 tickets in total cost £735. Face value would have been £400- my OAP mother was utterly scammed by this despicable website. I literally feel sick to my stomach.
I got a ticket to a barcelona match and it was a good price. The ticket worked so I had a great experience.
I was worried because I bought my ticket to a Barcelona match and then read these reviews. Here is the thing, when you buy your ticket, you don't get the tickets immediately, Viagogo has to source them from someone else and then they deliver it usually within the next hour or so that made me uncomfortable. Also there is a surcharge fee at checkout but you don't have to buy the tickets, it's not some hidden cost. I got a good deal overall so I am happy with the service.
O2 arena take a look. 85 pound Bruno Mars ticket for 200 pound on viagogo. Really bull$#*!. Never do another concert again rot in he'll viagogo employees. And I'm serious
Haven't found a more shameless company than Viagogo.
I bought a ticket to the Bayern Munich - Dortmund game for this coming weekend yesterday. The ticket was marketed as "Section 105" on their site, however when I opened it after I made the purchase and downloaded the ticket, it clearly says it is for block/section 125, which is a section close to the goal, not what I wanted to buy at all.
I wrote to Viagogo right away to report this issue as incorrect ticket received, after more than a day they responded today with this following crap:
"We have reviewed your order and the tickets you have received, and we can confirm that they are correct and valid for your order. Therefore we cannot provide a refund, nor any compensation."
What the hell? They either can't read or purposely trying to deceive the buyers. And they have the gull to charge me more than $70 for what Viagogo says it is VAT and service fee. Outright lies. VAT? Hello? The US does not charge such a thing as VAT (it might charge a sales tax but there is no way a whopping 30% sales tax) for starters and what "great service" Viagogo has been providing? Nothing but headaches. If their service is considered "great", I don't know what service out there that is not "great". After paying this much money I am getting the incorrect ticket and Viagogo would not even acknowledge that I received the wrong ticket?
I am tired of their gimmicks. Misleading potential buyers by telling them "the prices are rising in the last three days", yeah right. We all know the closer to the event date the lower the prices are, in general (I was a seller on Viagogo too so of course I knew). And they overwhelm and trick potential buyers with those tickets that have been allegedly "recently sold". If they have been sold, wipe them out and get them away from the view! Don't make it look like everyone is buying these tickets, plus Viagogo makes the buyer's experience much harder and less friendly.
So much greed. Coming up with all sorts of excuses to charge money from both buyers and sellers. And they don't even publish their phone number. What are they hiding? Viagogo has no shame. Shame on them!
Having paid top price at that time Nov 22 2016 for Cliff Richard at Harewood. I received my tickets 2 weeks ago. The seats are so far back even the stage will be barely visible. I received a fob off email from Karen which gives the usual bla bla bla excuses.
Needless to say they will now be off the contact for tickets.
Cannot contact them after purchase; ridiculous and feel cheated. All hidden charges come right at the end; no guarantee on tickets being recd
Bought 4 tickets, each one was £80, once I already paid I got a receipt with a total of £470. They added a hidden "booking fee" of £92. So now I need to make a dispute with the Trading Standards.
Didnt realise it was a resale site. Paid a fortune for the tickets. Not realising that that they were resale with the wrong name on. Paid a fortune in booking fees. Could get them cheaper from genuine site. Absolutely gutted. Should of looked around. Lesson learnt the hard way.
Seriously wish I had read some reviews before buying tickets through viagogo. Ended up paying way more than I would have if I had bought them anywhere else (no idea why I didn't)
When on the website, they trick you into thinking tickets are nearly sold out to get you to pay, when actually there are plenty of tickets still for sale.
Tickets were 3x more expensive than the norm. And there is no ways to contact any customer service. Painful lesson learn, never ever buy from this fraud site!
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
