The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

Purchased 2 tickets for the guns and roses concert, wanted to resell 1 out of the 2 but the very userunfriendly website options wouldn't allow this.
So I cancelled the purchase but the website has been so cheeky and still listed both tickets for sales and asking me to confirm the sale, which I didnt. Now they are charging me a fee for cancelling the tickets.
Until now, the tickets have never found their way in my post box. I doubt I will ever receive them.
Also I think it is very disgusting that they do not list a contact number and also that when you managed to find one, the options are designed for you to be unable to speak to a human being (*******080 - Inside/Outside UK, *******670 - Inside UK Only)
You can only chose between purchased thickets or selling tickets and both options require you to have your ID ready and that the event is either within 72 hours or already passed.
The "customer support" consists of FAQs, which do not list your questions and automatic email responses of "Maja" who is clearly a robot or not able to read as she did not get my issue at all but just provide me with the link how to sell my tickets...
I will never purchase a ticket there again. Legal actions against this company should be initiated concerning the other reviews you can read. SHUT THIS WEBSITE DOWN!
I do ot understand how this place is called a business and why lawyers aren't working to close it as they deserve it.
I have just spent nearly £500 for Queen at Nottingham 5th December. Put them back for sale as I made a mistake. 2 have been sold, 1 left. They say I cannot get my money back until after the show, which is 8 months away, but, I am expected to pay, as well as the person that has just bought them from me. This is disgraceful, how do I report this
I thought purchased tickets for my son & I to attend the circus at the Royal farms arena. I was really excited after I received a confirmation saying my tickets would arrive 30 mins before the show. It didn't dawn on me but that was a red flag right there. The tickets NEVER CAME & of course I called my bank immediately! Bank of America knows all about this website & refunded me my money back. If a website cannot provide a customer service number & email address. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR & don't fall for it.
Naievly thought we were using another reputable online seller. Paid 4× the price for what we thought were prime seats to a rugby game. Tickets were for children not adults and could not be retrived when we got to venue. Consulted bank who were very helpful but couldnt retrieve funds YET! Feel a bit silly but lesso learnt!
No contact number, no email address, ordered tickets that cost us 400 pounds when we could have paid 150 pounds! Hoodwinked into the website saying only FIVE tickets left! No way to chase up the delivery date of your tickets! No one available to speak to PERSONALLY, help line number unavailable, they tell you the tickets haven't been released from the venue, but I've phoned the venue and they were released over 2 weeks ago! This site should be shut down! Does any fellow reviewers have any objections if I send them all to watchdog, trade descriptions and consumer protection? Please feel free to email me on *******@googlemail.com we need to stick up for ourselves!
Si I decided to go to Sean Pauls concert, first time ever attending the concert, never done this before, have no idea how much tickets are and so on. After I found out later, the tickets went on sale on the 12th of December and I looked to buy on the 26th. All tickets were sold out apart this viagogo page, and the cheapest one we found were £168. I thought it's quite expensive but I thought normally tickets goes around £100-150 anyway, we love Sean Paul so we decided to go for it. So after considering, I started to purchase the tickets, the pressure on the page saying that only 10 tickets available and buy it quickly to avoid disappointment twisted my brains :/ I ended up spending £438! For two tickets as they charged £70 for each ticket as booking fees and £10 per ticket for delivery! I received my tickets 3 days before the concert and saw the price on the ticket only £25! I honestly cannot believe how stupid I was and how these cruel people play with your mind! So if you are newbie like me, then please do more research about the tickets and the prices and if prices are like that crazy, then AVOID! Today is the day that we need to go to the concert, not sure how it ends up, but I am not even in the mood to go there after all this tickets experience... Probably these are my first and the last tickets for the lifetime.
Purchased tickets for Elton John concert at win entertainment centre paid a highly inflated price for tickets with impeded view, get charged admin and shipping fee totalling $692. When the value on the tickets is $140. What a rip off was told that these tickets may not admit me into the. Venue... So ripped off! Pissed off big time.
I purchased 2 soccer game tickets and was charged a $90 processing fee and a $15 shipping fee, which I was willing to pay for. The game ended up being rescheduled and I couldn't make it since it's gonna cost me more to re-schedule my flight. I had to re-sell the ticket on Viagogo and they charge a 10% seller fee which I understand is typical. Even though my tickets have not been shipped, the shipping fee is still non-refundable. And whoever is going to buy my ticket gonna end up paying the same $90 fee as well. When i bought the ticket, i didn't have the option of getting e-tickets. By delaying shipping out my ticket, I have no other option but to re-sell them on viagogo for less money. What a great business model!
Unlike other website that warns you of possible re-scheduling, viagogo has no mentioning of it anywhere throughout the process. When you try to purchase, they keep having these pop-up that tells you to free up your place in the queue for the 58,978 fans behind you.
At the end, I am out $140 in exchange for frustration and disappointment. Do yourself a favor and stay far far away from viagogo!
Viagogo promised entry at the venue. After realising they were not actually an official reseller as indicated, I searched the venue's website. I then tried to tell Viagogo that the venue would only accept matching tickets, and asked for a refund. They did not respond to my actual query, but instead accused me of divulging information to the venue, and told me that because of this, I could not get a refund. I responded, saying that I did not give info to the venue, and to please provide evidence. I have still not received a response.
Entry was then denied at the venue, so I had to repurchase tickets at the gate, which I could only just afford. Out at the venue, I did not have reception, and so could not contact Viagogo straight away. I contacted them upon my return home, a few days later. They then said that, since I contacted them more than 48 hours after the event, I could not get a refund. However, it clearly states on their website that users can contact them up to 3 months after the event.
This is an outright scam, and anyone who has had a negative experience with them needs to report it to Google - just search "report to Google".
No matter how much/how far in advance you pay, no matter how many times you call them to explain you have booked FLIGHTS, HOTEL, TIME OFF WORK, your ticket will not be shipped on time. Ignore the 'ticket guaranteed to arrive at least 3 days before the event,' as it won't even be shipped til then, and probably later.
When you call them, they will never call or email you back to confirm what they're doing or that an issue has been raised. They offer very little solutions, time plans for actions, and it is impossible to get hold of them.
Don't f**k yourself over by going to this company. It's appalling.
I purchased tickets to see Bruno Mars at the O2 arena on 21st April. The tickets described where not what arrived and when I put this to Viagogo they offered me a £50 voucher off any concert ticket on the next 12 months. I rejected this and despite several emails etc they gave just chosen to ignore and are not prepaured to talk. I have Celine Dion tickets for her concert at the O2 in June and appear to have the same issue yet they are not prepared to discuss until the tickets arrive and again o my leaves a few days to do anything should they chose to discuss but history says they won't.
Do use them seems I'm not alone with this issue but they continue to sell add a serious service charge and do nothing to resolve issues.
We bought 4 tickets for the champions league game between FC Barcelona and Juventus on April 19 2017. We bought premium 1 tickets worth 2600 euros, received tickets for a different section worth 800 euros. In addition, tickets were sent last minute to our hotel and after 4 hours on the phone they replaced my tickets only to find out at the stadium that the new tickets provided were fake tickets. My 8 and 6 year old cried so much and did not understand why this was happening. Never again viagogo.
Hi, I had to cancel my sale on Viagogo, now they want a me to pay a fee, but I do not know how to do it, they do not reply to my emails, I want to solve this, if anyone knows how, please contact me
*******@gmail.com
I cannot find a legit way to contact their customer support.
When I paid £85 for two tickets to the classic Fm concert on 18. 4. 17 at the Albert Hall I didn't expect to find myself in £10 'cheap seats' with restricted view.
There is no way to contact Viagogo whose 'customer help' suggests that tickets may cost more than the face value when popular - £65 more?
I have been ripped off - NEVER USE VIAGOGO
Purchased a ticket from Viagogo for the Bluesfest on Monday. Bluesfest woud not honour the ticket as they are not an affilliate of Viagogo and can not tell if the tickets are legitimate. Also you must have photo Id to attend a licensed Venue in Australia and the name on the Ticket was Jamie Houston, I am NOT Jamie Houston so NO ENTRY.
Another dissatisfied customer of Viagogo.
I paid a lot of money for tickets in front row and they send me the wrong row. Dont answer the phone and dont replay to emails. Never buying anything else from them. Dont believe in a positive review in here.
I too got stung for their huge booking fee they did refund a portion when I complained. The worst is yet to come. We went to Cindy Lauper and Blondie concert in Auckland NZ to find out tickets were not were we understood them to be from their description and were the worst position in the complex at the very back - even my glasses could not decipher much image and the sound was muffled. Would never use them again. Watch out! If this is were you buy your tickets.
I searched for tickets for the Singapore 7s tournament and Viagogo came up first. Not knowing any better, I clicked on them and was scammed into believing Im buying the last tickets available... I paid slightly inflated price for tickets but a substantial booking fee. Then I read reviews and immediately regret buying them. No contact details or customer service! Was supprised when I did actually receive my e-tickets 2 days later and they worked. Stadium wasn't even half full. Not worth the stress. Would never use them again! Avoid these scammers!
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
