The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

I sold tickets on this website and never got paid for them. They're customer service is atrocious. Avoid this website at all costs. I feel like people are still getting caught to their tricks and should be more aware.
Stay well clear! Their Customer Service is pure bull$#*!. They sent me an authentic Ticketmaster ticket for Robert Plant in Perth Scotland. Charged three times the ticket price. I wanted to sell it on. They recommended I should opt for an e-ticket, which would reach a buyer right up to the day of the concert. There were no instructions about how to upload the e-tickets to the buyer. I cut and pasted on the ticket details, uploaded and Viagogo then said the buyer would not accept as an e-ticket and I should copy the original and send it before the concert date, which I did. I then recalled that this contemptible company saying on their $#*!e site that this was unacceptable. Of course! How could I be so stupid? What venue is going to accept a photocopy? Hook line and sinker. Nearly decided to go to the concert after all. Then petrol costs and an overnight stay persuaded me to cut my losses. I am a pensioner. £150 already lost! These are a bunch of crooks. Search engines should cut this arsehole company out. Bastards!
I bought 2 tickets for an event on Viagogo and after realizing that I payed 3 times the original price I immediately listed it for sale. Viagogo sold my tickets 2 weeks before the event started and told me I would be payed a couple of working days after the event. After 15 complaints and threathening to press charges I finally got payed 5 months after I sold my tickets!
Turned up to Stevie Nicks in Dunedin NZ tonight only to find tickets were FAKE! Viagogone can't be contacted. Rip off crooks!
Bandits. Mis-information after trying to download my Tickets. Wrong name on tickets. Information on tickets completely wrong. Emailed them dozens on times... Answers from them complete rubbish. Nothing done... Scammers... Do not go near this website... Gangsters..
Bought tickets for ATP finals in O2 London (2 childs by mistake)contacted them, ypu cant talk to anyone, no exchanges ot refunds are made so they offered to resell my tickets so from £105 paid theyve paid me for my already sold tickets £32... and did not get to watch the finals either as of one wrong pressed button and zero support from Viagogo AVOID AVOID AVOID!
Unbelievably, licensed bandits
Do not get near this site.
For me the price of the tickets increased by more than $ 400 for two tickets, only after the order was approved.
Do not ever use this web site. They increase the price of tickets after you've bought them with massive handling / booking charges. They refuse to refund. If you try to re-sell the tickets they demand you send them off before they have sent them to you and cancel the sale (probably with a charge).
IF THESE PEOPLE AREN'T CRIMINALS THEN THE LAW NEEDS TO BE CHANGED TO MAKE THEM SO.
Viagogo have scammed me after I told them not to process a transactions. They refuse to refund, even after legal uk 14 day cooling off period for anything purchased online and have extorted and extracted the money directly from my account in a foreign currency. They are a scam company and need to be stopped. Seeking legal advice. #scam #scammers #fraud #extortion #police #ilegal #scalpers #fake #fakes #charlatan #fakes #peterkay #adele #raid #notax #paradisepapers
Wow. I have just read the reviews below and they seem to mirror my story. Cant believe them. I would have sworn I was paying $400 for four tickets to Lorde but when the fee was processed they ended up charging $630 for the four tickets. I rang them and they refused to do anything about it - no refunds, no compensation whatsoever. Do not fall into this trap! If you are sensible enough to be here checking them out then you will no doubt be sensible enough to not purchase.
Viagogo is a scam. Be aware and stay away from them. I got offered some nice tickets for like USD$200 and then I got charged without notice more than USD$600 for the tickets that turned out to be on a total different location than expected. They refused to refund the money and then just ignored further requests. I'm starting a charback process to get my money back. I found out about the scam they are after I started searching them on google. Be aware. Stay away from this website. Government seems to be unable to do anything against them. Just google them and you'll see the piece of rubish these viagogo people really are.
Be careful. Choose to buy direct from Theatre. These people try to pressurise you in to buying tickets and then care extortianate prices plus
Paid £310 for two tickets to see the Killers in Glasgow via viagogo. Downloaded them tonight to find out the face value is only £55 each!
Absoloute fecking disgrace of a company!

The worst experience ever. Completly unuseful customer service. Our concert has been postponed, and we weren't even notified about it. We were literally flying to Barcelona for the concert and they are not willing to give u refund of 213 how much we paid tickets!
Due to lack of their customer service and not being flexible to the customers at all I supposed to go again to Barcelona, get new flights, take more holidays at work, because of them not be able to give the refund.
Should be ashamed to run a service and not be able to satisfy your customers!
Viagogo ~ or 'Yourcashgogo' as I like to call it, charges over 200% markup when you buy tickets form them. It's a complete rip off by a company that buys all the tickets available via a computer algorithm so up public don't get the chance and then they rip us off.
I've been trying to sell tickets bought through them and there has been problems, and guess what? I can't get through to them to find out how to fix the problem.
AVOID THIS LOT LIKE THE PLAGUE.
I purchased tickets for a concert I really wanted to go with my daughter. This is the first and last time I would use ever this site. When I got the tickets the mark was 100% above the actual face value of the ticket. I have purchased tickets before on line and have paid an additional costs for booking fees etc but never twice the price. They should be charged with fraud as the say ticket might cost a bit more but this is daylight robbery. If I could give them zero stars that's what they would get.
I paid over £600 for 3 rugby tickets for my husband and two young sons to see England Australia play at Twickenham on Nov 18th. I got an email at the time. - Congratulations, you are off to Twickenham! I bough the tickets in June as a Fathers Day gift and the boys have been talking about it nonstop since, planning our weekend in London. I checked the viagogo site last night as I was worried tickets hadnt arrived and saw order confirmed, tickets to arrive within 3 days of event. However this afternoon, I got an email saying I was being sent a refund as unavailable to secure tickets. No number to call, just cancelled, two days before the event that they had been looking forward to for almost six months...
Viagogo is $#*!ed. Rip off bastards. $#*!s, paid double the price of tickets they were actually worth. I feel ashamed I got trapped in their stupid $#*!ing website. Trying to sell my to tickets but can't get ahold of them. They gave me a number which is also full off $#*!.
DONT EVER BUY FROM THIS BULL$#*! UNRELIABLE SITE
Bought tickets... Thought they were great seats, accompanied by COLLECTABLE tickets. Not so! Viagogo changed the rules with in 24 hours. Feeling very ripped off and dumb! Had all these pop ups while purchasing- buy now, only few left, do you want to release your tickets?... Have been given e tickets valued a third of what I paid! Not happy!
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
