The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

This company, apparently located in Europe, is terrible and a rip off. Do not use them! I bought 2 tickets in advance (6 months) and only 24 hours before the show did I find out I had actual seats. The seat location was terrible. I paid 4 times more than what they are selling for now. It took 10 phone calls, tons of email, to get any assistance. The people you deal with are no doubt in Europe. They are trained to not give you a straight answer and will put you off saying wait another day. I have learned my lesson never never to use this lousy ticket service again.
DO NOT BUY FROM VIAGOGO. I bought a ticket and the night of concert I was told that the ticket I purchased was not valid. I called them and they told me they cannot offer me another ticket. Due to 5 minutes left to the starting concert I had to pay for two very expensive tickets.
The only way to describe this company is scammers its so bad that this company is allowed to operate ripping of people do not buy from this company i have paid almost 300 for tickets worth 39.
They will keep you waiting for the tickets and will assure you that all is well, till the last minute, and then on the 11th hour, they will say that there are no tickets and they are looking for these tickets, and any additional charges will be charged to our account, while they were initially over 50% more expensive than the listed price. Which is their business and i cant moan about, since I agreed to the price. I have booked my flights, hotels and transport to go and watch U2 at Mumbai on 15th December
You have to give a star to do a review, that's the only reason for the one star. They got nearly $700 from me for Andrea Bocelli tickets. I printed the confirmation the email said take to ticket office the day of to pick up actual tickets. When I did, I learned there is no such section 101 or row gg in the theater. The ticket gal was familiar with viagogo having seen their scams before. I called them and they tried to BLAME ME! Customer service said I needed to print more. I told her the ticket office showed me the layout of the theater and what they sold me doesn't exist. I said I don't know how you sleep at night she said lying. I think she meant laying down, how ironic as lying was what they did when they said I had tickets.
Can't even give them one star, tix never arrive. Save your money and heartache. They pay extra to have their link appear first when using a search for tickets... be warned.
This company has the worst customer service with no help whatsoever. Lost 300 and did not ever receive my tickets.
Paid Viagogo $500 for Ringo Starr show in Oakland. Show was cancelled; imagined it would be a simple procedure to refund tickets from a cancelled show. Instead there followed an endless avalanche of auto-responses to my dozen requests. Never resolved, never spoke to a human. How do they stay in business? Don't waste your money.!
Bought tickets to see Vince Neil November 16,2019. Went to venue and was told tour had been canceled 2 weeks prior to the date. Viagogo says they haven't been notified the tour is canceled therefore no refund will be given. Vince Neil has publicly announced the tour was canceled on November 9th... still no refund. Tickets were marked way up too.
I bought a ticket proposed for concert at CHF 99.-
And received a voucher for:
A ticket price of 75.- + treatment for 7.- + reservation for 24.- = total = 106.-
And finally received a ticket under another name (!) whose printed price was 30.- (!)
NEVER AGAIN!
Worst experience ever: my wife bought four U2 Perth tickets two months before the show. 3 days before the show she recieved information that her ticket was cancelled. Because she already flown to Perth with her friends she purchased 4 more tickets for $200 (aus dollars) each. And 2 days before the show viagogo emailed her the cancelled tickets and the tickets she just purchased. She tried to sell back the 4 tickets she thought was cancelled but was repeatedly rejected by viagogo. She got to see the show but at $400 (aus dollars) per person. Nice work viagogo
Bought great seat tickets. Paid for great seat tickets. Tickets we got were total different seats. Never buy tickets from this site. Ever.
I was looking to purchase tickets to U2 early in the piece I thought I was buying $240 tickets per seat. I ended up giving money via a credit card on the 16th of June. Then on the 2nd of November 20 days before the concert they finally release them I got 2 tickets at $61.20 per piece. What a joke no disclosure of what they make what the buyer makes blah blah blah I will never use them again.
Long story short: Purchased tickets for Madonna's concert in Las Vegas (Nov'19) via Viagogo. Viagogo happily charges my credit card. Concert date is approaching fast. Viagogo does not release tickets. I email them multiple times and even call them 3, 2, 1 days before the concert. Viagogo provides lame excuse (they blamed someone else). I raise hell (this is stressful and time consuming for me). 8 hours before concert Viagogo sends me tickets for a subpar section from my original tickets without any price adjustment. I I had not been relentless in trying to get my/any tickets they would have just failed to fulfill their part of the deal. I don't live in Vegas so I had a whole trip planned around the concert (hotel, flight, etc.) for the sole reason to attend that concert and that's why I was not going to let these scammers get away with their deceit. But the amount of time and effort I had to put to get WHAT I HAD PAID FOR and their business is suppose to deliver was too much. Do not purchase anything from these scammers.
We went to a huge music concert for a big name band last night. Bought the tickets through viagogo a couple of weeks ago and then read the terrible reviews. The cheapest tickets to the concert from the mainstream seller were $65 - we got ours for $22 each. The only downside was the hefty fee they slug you at check out, but even including this fee, they were half the cheapest price. The tickets were immediately emailed to us, got us in to the concert no trouble and were exactly the seats we had booked.
Three hours before the Eton John concert in Atlanta was to begin, we received an email that the tickets we ordered, paid for and downloaded were invalid. We were told not to worry that we would receive tickets ticketmaster. Never received. Four hours on the phone, missed concert - denied a refund. Out $1500. Endless emails, proof they asked for provided and nothing! BEWARE
If you had to look for reviews there's a reason. I'm just saying, don't use them. Use Ticketmaster or another reputable site.
My wife purchased 2 tickets for Elton John. We have been on the phone multiple times. They ha e told us that they have confirmation that the tickets have been emailed and should be in our Ticketmaster app or email. The tickets are not there. We requested a supervisor but there are none available. We requested an email showing confirmation of delivery of the tickets and were told that they do not have a mechanism to perform that? Nearly 500 dollars and we are not eligible for a refund because they have confirmation but can not confirm this with us. I can't believe they are allowed to be in business. Don't do it. Look on the better business bureau website. I wish we had. There are almost 300 negative complaints in this past year alone. Don't risk your hard earned money on this poor $#*! scam of a site! Use Ticketmaster or vivid. I am beside myself!
I paid for a show in February for a show the other day on Nov. 2. They "transferred" the tickets to me and a few days later said, oh those arent real, your real ones will come closer to the date. The seller transferred my tickets to me nov. 1st and then 10 hours later cancelled. I demanded my money back like I did in march. They kept telling me to make a ticket master account. I had to keep repeating that I have one and the tickets are not there and I want my money. They kept insisting I have them until 3 hours before the show time and then stopped contacting me and changed my password on their site so I had to reset it. On sunday the 3rd ticketmaster had nothing showing I had tickets and I sent that to them and told them I want my money back and they brushed me off. On monday ticketmaster emailed me asking me if I enjoyed the show. I am livid and out over $200. Do not use this site Ever to buy tickets!
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
