I bought ticket with insurance and I broke my leg, i have dr reports everything and I applied several times to get my money back. 18 months later I still didn't get my money.
I bought two tickets and travel insurance in November for a trip in April through Travelgenio. My flight was cancelled. Travelgenio's website where I am supposed to apply for my 3100 back is a loop. I called British Airways they tell me to go through Travelgenio. There is no customer service through Travelgenio, just a loop of applying for a refund, which tells me to call British Airways. So I am left out of a flight and no refund. If you are looking for travel, avoid Travelgenio - there is no customer service - not bad customer service...NONE!

I warn everybody to be careful with purchasing a trip from Travelgenio, if something goes wrong they will take your money and ignore your claim. My flight was canceled in July 2020 and we are in 2023 and I m still waiting for my refund. Despite many claims to this company I was ignored. I feel that they robbed me, so be aware this company is a scam bye your trip from the air companies it's more safer. I m never gonna accept this way to sheat customers. I ll publish in a any possible way and expose their scams.
In 2019 I booked 3 return fares to Cochin. Soon after I regretted my decision to use Travelgenio. During the pandemic, I was reassured by Emirates who had all the correct flight details and offered me a further 2years validity on my tickets.
Unbeknown to me, I have since found out that Travelgenio requested a refund in 2021 and received funds then. I did not request this cancellation and have received no notification nor any refund from Travelgenio. I have been demanding my refund monies since I found out. I have sent numerous emails with NO reply.
They have stolen my money! DO NOT USE! I WILL BE MAKING AIRLINES AWARE!
The single worst travel company I have EVER experienced in my 35+ years of traveling. They lie to the customer. They lie to the credit card company. Please share this with you friends and family.
I bought a ticket from this travel agency for Dubai in September 2022 for myself and partner. I had to cancel because of my partner's work schedule which would allow as the vacation days to travel. This agency has promised to get back to me on my refund which they never did.I tried call but theirs numbers won't go through and no email to contact them either I'm beginning to think it's a scammed company and will advise others not to purchase from them.
Travelginio claims by return auto email that they have no such email. How can that be possible since when I booked the flight I received confirmation to my email. I emailed them to tell tem the situation and ask that the communicate with me so I can make changes. They now have my email but they decided to completely ignore me. After reading all the other reviews I have come to the conclusion that I was scammed and now making new flight arrangements. Cannot take chance on being stranded. I cannot understand why these people are not being investigated.
In November 2021 I purchased 2 flights from Edinburgh to Norwich, flying to Norwich on 30 June2022 and returning to Edinburgh on 4 July. The flights were to be on Loganair.
In March 2022 I was informed by a friend also booked on the flights, that Loganair had cancelled the service and the flights would not take place.
I contacted Loganair who confirmed this.
I tried to contact Travel2be without any success and it was not until the day before we were due to fly that we were informed about the cancellation.
Fortunately we had made alternative arrangements for our journey.
After repeated phone calls and emails I was told that we would be due a refund. However this never appeared.
In December I was emailed to tell me that as it was now over a year since the money had been taken I would have to provide further bank details and then I would receive my refund. I was also warned that as we are outside the EU bank charges of 50 euros may be applied!
Now, at the end of January 2023, still no money.
In my opinion this is bordering on theft.
AVOID. Purchased Two-way trip from them for the New Year Eve.
They cancelled my return flight without notification, explanation or refund.
When I arrived to the airport for the check-in, the agents told me they could not find me in the system.
The agents were not able to give any additional information, advised to call the agency.
No one was available on the phone.
I had to purchase a ticket again at a last-minute price.
Few days later, still no one answer on the phone.
If you want to save your time and money, do not deal with this agency.
First, be careful that you don't accidentally use this company by booking through a site like Kayak.com. They may route you to these crooks. Booked through them and the airline cancelled my flight and refunded my money to THEM. They refuse to refund it to me and won't even communicate with me about it. My worst regret is the money they stole from me will help keep them in business longer. They deserve to go out of business.
We had return leg from Europe cancelled 48 hours before our flights. They didn't help support or care about our family situation and the significant stress and anxiety suffered. Despite the airline authorising a 50% refund, Travelgenio refund us 17%. No additional compensation, no alternative flights and no support after flights were cancelled.
Now, nearly 6 months later, they're completely unresponsive. I read the statements in other reviews from Traverlgenio below about emailing their customer support team. Well I have been emailing them for the last 6 weeks and they don't even acknowledge my communication. The phone number for Travelgenio simply says "this number is busy" and hangs up. Absolutely disgraceful. Buyer beware with these charlatans!
I have been calling them for the last two weeks, the phone is busy and no one is getting back to me with my flight changes. I Contact the airline directly and they said that this agent have not contacted them. This is very irritating and will NOT RECOMMEND anyone. Awful service.

Well, book tickets do work easy and fast - but if you need any support afterwards then look somewhere else... They refer to the homepage, but the links do not work, no phone number or e-mail address are provided. Instead had to reach out directly to the airline but they refer back to the booking agency. In this case it did work since Caribbean Airlines cancelled the booking and created a new one instead. Thank you Caribbean airlines and goodbye Travelgenio.
I've been trying to get into contact with this company since two days ago to change my flight for the 27th Dec but there's absolutely no way of contacting them and there is no answer to my emails! This is the worse company I've had come across and would like some help asap as I do not want my flight to go to waste

Swoop Airlines refunded my flights to Travelgenio/Ortavo a few days ago, but it seems that these sites used their own credit card to pay for the flights so the refund did not go to my card.
