The overall reputation of UPS is marred by significant concerns regarding service reliability and customer support. Many customers report frequent delays in package delivery, errors in shipping, and inadequate responsiveness from customer service representatives. Complaints highlight issues with lost packages, unfulfilled delivery promises, and a lack of accountability, leading to frustration and dissatisfaction. While some customers acknowledge the company's long-standing presence in the industry, the prevailing sentiment is overwhelmingly negative, with calls for improved communication and service efficiency. This feedback suggests that UPS must urgently address operational shortcomings to restore customer trust and satisfaction.

This company misplaced my package, sent it to wrong apartment number. They have to train their employees good...and when you call customer service, they promise to give a call back which they didnt. Dont send you package here, its a waste of time and money. I never had any problem with other couriers.
I will personaly never use there service there 2 day shopping is a joke ive been waiting for my item for over a week after paying extra for it
I have had 3 packages delivered to the wrong address. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get my packages back or money back. This has happened 3 different times.
Multiple packages not delivered when they said they were, some packages delivered when they say they were not, call Customer Service, if you can actually talk to a human being they say they will call you back by 10 AM the next day I have never received a callback on multiple of occasions, right now I have a package that left from Virginia made it to Orlando Florida, mind you I live in Florida and now it has been rerouted to Atlanta GA lol what the F
Now, Im sure we are all used to the idea of shipping services messing up, systems not working exactly how we would like them to, but UPS is above and beyond in these departments. Reading the rest of the reviews on here make me wonder why on earth we are still entertaining them.
My most recent example:
UPS tracking info says "Delivered at 9:55pm" which is obviously a time deliveries are not done at-to "My CITY", no specific address. Talked to online support, they said to file a claim online or on the phone. Tried online, got a "we cant process it at this time" message. Called, a message said "you cant file a claim through this number." Then, after telling me to file a claim, the same person in online support said "you cant file a claim, the seller has to." Then after 15b business days they refund the seller and the seller refunds me. This is for a HEATER to save money this winter. Impossible to get anyone on the phone, website doesn't work, everyone you CAN get in touch with passes the buck. Why are we paying this $#*!ty service to waste our time and give us extra work to do to track down or recoup money we spent? SO tired of systems not doing their job and it always being at our expense.
I don't like leaving bad reviews, and I've contacted UPS directly several times before coming here. The problems I've been having continue. Few of the delivery people ring the doorbell to get into the building, and I just get a text message saying they "tried." Other times, they try once, then simply drop the package off at a pick-up location that is more than a mile away from my apartment - I don't have a car, and I haven't driven in over 10 years. It's really inconvenient for me to have to walk a mile to a pick-up spot and carry the package home a mile. Furthermore, when a notice is left at the building I live in, there is rarely an apartment number or name provided on the missed delivery slip. If I had a choice when ordering items online, I would not willingly choose UPS to deliver the package. I have more faith that a carrier pigeon would be more efficient and reliable. Seriously, the UPS truck had to drive past my apartment on the way to the pick-up spot! Really?!? REALLY?!? Customer service is garbage, the drivers are lazy and the shipping prices are too high for the lack of quality service.
I have had problems for some time with ups,you would think these driver want to get their hours in,as they are union local 638. UPS drivers continue to deliver to the mail/package room in my apartment.I am disabled and have severe mobility issue.I want the package delivered to my apartment,as I have UPS my choice and need it delivered to my apartment door, these drivers do not read their diad device,"deliver to apartment"224".did not follow instructions.A

This year new laws were put in place so places like Aliexpress, and Alibaba etc, must collect and remit taxes on sales, even if they are international. With all these platforms charging tax now, this of course cuts into UPS commission revenues, and import brokerage revenues. WAIT! Not of ups charges you import taxs, despite the fact you already paid, and after making you jump around like a chicken for hours to fix the issue, tell you to go get a refund from the very Platform that had to charge you taxes under the new rules. This is what is happening to me right now. It is a ups fight to keep import revenue, by charging tax on its customers that already paid tax due, through the platforms like Alibaba. But before they lastly tell you to do that. They are going to tell you, Alibaba does not collect tax, and even if you give them all the proof and bills etc, they are still going to play ignorant, and do absolutely nothing!. What a terrible thing I imagine they are doing to all people who order product international and import it now. If you do not want to go though this crap, which will totally sour your buying experience. Stay away from UPS, and it's deceitful, company reps, trained to cause you great disss service
My package was delivered to the office in my town weeks ago, everyday it's said it's out for delivery and I never get it. I called UPS, got an automatic system that wouldn't let me speak to a representative without saying my tracking number first. I said my tracking number 8 times clearly and everytime the system said, "sorry we can't help you without a tracking number" and hung up on me. You can't type the number in or get ahold of a representative by online chat either.
I m very disappointed and was very surprised when UPS left a notice at my door that I have to pay charge of $29.71 as brokerage fees!
So I did call UPS customer service and explained the situation. I was told to email evidence that it was for failed part repair from the vendor to avoid the charges!
So I did and was again surprised that even though with valid evidence and confirmation with notes and e-mail chats with the vendor about concerned failed part they did refuse to avoid the charge! I did call customer service again and they said they will not release the part unless payment of $29.71 received...they said it is my problem and refuse to assist me and help me to avoid this none legitimate charges!
I'm very disappointed and will never use UPS service in future as much as possible! Very bad experience and worst customer services!
Don't really want someone else to have this kind of experience...
A warning about using UPS, the worst shipping company on earth that is losing ground everyday. My package was supposed to be delivered on 11/29/22. The driver lied and said that I was not home which is not true. Well the driver chose to leave my package at a UPS pickup point instead of attempting delivery the next day without my consent. On 11/30/22 I went to the designated UPS pickup point and to my surprise the package was not there. I called the customer service who gave me no concrete answer and promised to call me back. Later I got a call from a rude UPS dispatcher called me from *******840) saying that the package is on its way to the pickup point and I just have to wait. On 12/122, I went to pickup my package again but it was not there again. After spending 45min on the phone, I was told to file a claim and wait!
I have ordered a garmin from there website last Thursday and it said that ups were going to deliver it
But there was a problem with the address so my dad called them and updated the address information
Then they said it should be coming soon but it's not
So to begin after I spoke to them they said my package will be at ur house sir before 1 pm it's now 1:68 pm 12/01/2022 and still no package I called them up to find out what's going on the lady called the Harrington facility up to check and came back with they said it will be there within the next hour 1 hour has passed and still nothing they just don't care about nothing their phone system is set up like that so when u do call it's hard to get ahold of anyone that's why they do it to avoid customers doesn't take a rocket scientist to know how useless this company is AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Purchased 2 storm doors in March 2019. Doors never opened right, sticking and large gap in door. Door was not installed properly, no screws in door jam to hold the door. Therefore all the problems. Home depot sent 2 different installers out, but the problems did not get fixed. Called again in march, and was assured that they had new installers, and they would be calling to set an appointment. I would think that since their competition is Lowe's and Menards, they would be concerned about losing business. Never buy from home depot again.
My package was never delivered and was marked as delivered by the company.
It was worth $3000 and was a very precious gift from my family in Vancouver.
When I saw the cameras installed at home the ups driver never came to the door and just left without delivering the package.
Company just opened a investigation but as I saw from other reviews they never find the package nor do they reimburse the amount of package.
Not at all trustworthy company
I had the best experience with ups today! I moved into a brand new subdivision and have not been getting my packages. I contacted my local distribution center and spoke with the most kind caring person Mona! Not only did she take the time to track all of my packages (8 to be exact) she was able to speak with the managers driver for my area and I was able to give him the directions and location to where the new subdivision was located. Mona even took it one step further and located two of my packages. I was able to meet the driver Erica who was an angel and gave me two of my missing packages! Great job by ups Mona at the little cayman drive Distribution center. And Erica who delivers in the Denham Springs Louisiana area.
I paid 13.98 to have ups pick up and because I wanted to change day, there would be another charge. The heck with them. And there drivers can't even lift 38 lb box my goodness.
Deliver to a different condo than what I on the label, really?! Can't read? Unbelievable, never had this problem with Amazon or FedEx.
My package was stolen not from my residence but from the ups hub in commerce city Colorado. Situations started when there was confusion over the address. Talk to a representative who lied about sending the driver back to drop off my package because I was at work when they came by needless to say he or she didn't come back when I called the next day my package was rerouted to Texas I live in Colorado upon calling again to inquire about why my package was in texas I was given attitude as though I was the f--k up. If you experience a situation where your shipment is sitting in limbo being rerouted all over the place to addresses you didn't give them your package was stolen. If you call customer service and no one can put their hands or eyes on your package it was stolen. Don't use ups if you can help it THEY STEAL the drivers, hub operators or both.
UPS has got to be without a doubt the ABSOLUTELY WORST delivery service provider in the industry. I can honestly tell you that even though I rarely have any dealings with them that 9 times out of 10 it turns into a complete nightmare to say the least! I absolutely refuse to even consider them whenever I need to ship something but once in a while the people I buy from use them and it's gotten so bad I have to ask who they use to ship their items but even once in a while I forget to ask and when I do forget to ask and find out they used UPS I cringe because I always know it's going to be a nightmare
Answer: Because there is ZERO accountability at UPS and they dont care about customers or having business ethics. Answer my question if you can.(Click on my profile and see it)
Answer: Because the management orders the people under them to do it, so it looks good on UPS. And most customers dont bother to complain or write reviews.
Answer: It's driver preference and they don't care. I complained about this. I'm constantly getting medical supplies delivered and they don't care
Answer: Because they don't care! For the life of me, I can't understand why anybody uses them as a delivery service.
Answer: Because they are a very poorly run company. It doesn't even run its offices domestically well, as you can see by the overwhelmingly negative reviews on this site. Use any shipping service over UPS.
Answer: UPS is a disgrace. They are a disregardful and careless business who lies to their costumers. Absolutely will not support ever again!
Answer: Sadly, today the term racist is used to define almost anyone that we disagree with. I am not a happy customer of the ups store but if you are getting death threats you need to contact the police. It is illegal in America to make death threats against anyone no matter their race, creed or color. That is the beauty of living in United States of America. You do not need to wait for a company to file charges against another human being who is threatening your life. You just need to take the appropriate, legal action against that person, good luck!
