The overall reputation of UPS is marred by significant concerns regarding service reliability and customer support. Many customers report frequent delays in package delivery, errors in shipping, and inadequate responsiveness from customer service representatives. Complaints highlight issues with lost packages, unfulfilled delivery promises, and a lack of accountability, leading to frustration and dissatisfaction. While some customers acknowledge the company's long-standing presence in the industry, the prevailing sentiment is overwhelmingly negative, with calls for improved communication and service efficiency. This feedback suggests that UPS must urgently address operational shortcomings to restore customer trust and satisfaction.

Impossible to speak to someone who can help if something goes wrong, when you ring up someone outside the country reads back the tracking email to you, leaves you holding for ages and then the phone goes dead. USELESS
We have at least one delivery or pick up a week and we have never had the service happen without an issue. I constantly have to call and find out why the package wasn't picked up. I have told them over and over to listen to their recorded calls so they can work on their terrible customer service. I am currently waiting for a package that should have been delivered on Friday, did not require a signature, I left BIG signs on the doors telling them where to leave it, this was after calling them to make sure it could be left, and they took it away because at 6:45pm on a Friday our business was closed. So fed up with them we have now switched to ICS.
I waited one month for a medicine delivery that needs to stay refrigerated. The idiots at UPS said they delivered it but I never received it. I called customer service 6 times begging for help because it is critical that they find the package because if it doesn't stay cold it will be useless trash. I spent over $1000.00 on this medication and all that the jerks at customer service tell me is that there is an investigation. They don't give a crap about the importance of the deliveries people get! I hate them with a passion. They are unprofessional and they don't help anyone. They promise they will update you and they don't. They lie and they can't be trusted.
The numbers in my title indicate the dollar amount that I spent using UPS as my primary shipper for my companies in 2021 versus the dollar amount that I spent in 2022. I realize that this means absolutely nothing to UPS as this amount does not even equate to a drop in their corporate "ocean," though I have to admit that I feel much much better, my blood pressure has actually declined when my shipping is involved, along with my clients being much much more satisfied when queried regarding their shipping experiences with my companies, which is the bottom line, as their previous dissatisfaction negatively affected MY bottom line, in one case costing me six figures in lost revenue across from the twelve(12) month period.
The reasons are the same as mentioned ad nauseam before me, from paying for next day/2-day and having the shipment arrive 3-5 days later, to having UPS make one attempt, during which the receiving client's office was closed, so UPS left a post-it informing the client of the nearest UPS location to go and pick up the package THEMSELVES‼ I DID NOT pay top dollar to have my clients run and play fetch for their packages. Probably the most aggravating issue is that when I or one of my employees calls to find out why our package was not delivered as it was ordered and paid for, we cannot understand the individual on the other end of the telephone line. THIS is what actually send my BP through the roof.
I realize that UPS takes the least expensive route possible, from one-stop only deliveries to telephone customer service reps who cannot go "off script," as nothing is more infuriating than to be told following every statement that they "understand your aggravation."
No, UPS does not understand, as nothing ever changes, lol.
That's ok though because I no longer have to worry about dealing with "big brown," lol
What's so ironic is that UPS couldn't have chosen a better corporate color that so perfectly aligns with their performance
All the Best,

The box that my item was packed in appeared opened big enough for my item to be removed. This package was handled by no one but UPS after it left Amazon. I blame UPS workers for my missing item.
Still waiting on the same package for 2 weeks. Has had to have the shipper send the package 4 different times with special instructions due to my disability but UPS refuses to leave it at my door like they have been asked to do several times. So now I will have to make special arrangements to get to a drop off point, THANKS UPS...
I found out something this week that left a true distaste in my mouth for UPS as a whole. This has nothing to do with the packages, delivery or drivers - it's with the company itself and their protocol. Once a UPS driver has completed their long tedious shift of delivering over 100-200 heavy packages per day - like a regular employee anywhere else, they would like to go home and rest or be with their family. However, I found out that UPS makes the drivers that finish their load early go help those other drivers that are seemingly not up to par or milking the clock. This could mean taking another 30-60+ more stops (100+ packages or more) off of another driver that doesn't want to work as hard. So instead of rewarding the employee that completed their job in a timely manner by letting them go home as their work for the day has been completed, they are FORCING those that work hard to help those that don't. This means that the hard working driver(s) have to work an extra 3-4 hours per day. The grueling job takes a toll on the UPS drivers bodies on a regular work day - and God help the ones working even extra hard to accommodate those that don't. In any other company that I've known - the reward goes to the hard workers, not the lazy bums. The slower drivers that milk the clock should have to complete their own shift themselves. I find it unreal that whoever is drafting this protocol wouldn't realize what a bad idea this is. This concept completely ruins any good employees work ethic and morale - and now ruins my taste for them as a company.
They're definitely always late never on time UPS is the worst delivery I have ever used my stuff was late they changed me for fast delivery but it seems that I paid for extra slow delivery. Do not recommend ups
I mail over night and payed for over night it did not arrive until two days later. I call ups they said it was on us that I would get my money back but never happen
UPS has LIED to me for the past three days straight, and I'll be surprised if tomorrow doesn't make it FOUR. I can understand failure. We all fail at one time or another, but to LIE about it?
THAT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL. I don't understand what they hope to gain, either. It's not as though it will change anything. Are they trying to get elected President?
Extremely speedy service. I walked in, went through the shipping process and was out the door in under 4 minutes.
In a month span 3 packages have went missing or shown up with products missing out of them. No damage to boxes except for where someone cut the original tape then went back over with clear tape. 4 claims filed. Multiple phone calls made. Local police report filed and still no resolution. Almost a month later and no phone calls, emails, or resolution in site or mind. I call to find out where we're at on it and they just simply start the process all over again smh unbelievable
I had another order with this company they delivered it and tried to stop the driver before he left to tell him I had a other package. It was supposed to be delivered by 8:00 pm but was a no show. Wasn't contacted until next morning saying it would be delivered by 7. $#*!ed up my surprise for her birthday and they showed no remorse or care in the world. This is a crap place to rely on.
Bought a breadmaker 2 weeks ago, it was supposed to be delivered by UPS, but I never received it, when I went to track the parcel on the web, it said the parcel has delivered 4 days ago at 5:40pm, I was at home at that time however never got called or buzzed, they even didn't leave a notice in my mailbox. What kind of delivery service is this!
They've had my package in their local office for two days but for some unknown reason have been unable to deliver it. The vendor Amazon has been no help so finally agreed to give me a refund. So much for the convenience of shopping at home.
Notification about the delivery did not come. Access Point is open when I am at work 9:00 till 6 P.M. I had no choice of the access point (and I would've chosen one that is near my work). No proof of package ownership has been sent to me, or left in the mailbox, I had to guess how to receive the package. I don't think anyone came to my address to deliver the package. I don't know how can a private company be so much worse than state owned postal service but here we are.
Apart from being late, charging unexpected customs fees, horrible customer service with horrible accents and low volume, no specific order delivery time, not being on time for the delivery time, I guess the only good part is I received the product I wanted?
Don't trust UPS. I have sent the laptop but it got lost/ stolen. I can understand this could happens but customer service and other teams were lying to me for two months that everything is ok. They also pretended to be a manager/ supervisor when I wanted to speak to them. Finally when o got connected with investigation team they said it's lost and I managers never spoken to me. I only got refund for delivery not for the laptop because I had no receipt for it.
I missed signing for a package while I was at work, but when I went to the store they didn't have it. Now I have to wait for it till tomorrow afternoon. They said to call customer service to get it sooner, but they said they couldn't do anything. I would have rather had them just say that in the store than waste time on the phone with no results. It was a gift for someone, so that's where it's annoying.
This company is terrible at everything! They're automated service refuses to connect you to an operator, you have to open an investigation to get the to track down a package, the will mark packages delivered when they never come to your home. They don't take pictures of where they delivered. If you miss one call they will close the investigation on your package. When you finally get a live person on the phone the accents are so think it's difficult to communicate. This company is trash avoid at all costs.
Answer: Because there is ZERO accountability at UPS and they dont care about customers or having business ethics. Answer my question if you can.(Click on my profile and see it)
Answer: Because the management orders the people under them to do it, so it looks good on UPS. And most customers dont bother to complain or write reviews.
Answer: It's driver preference and they don't care. I complained about this. I'm constantly getting medical supplies delivered and they don't care
Answer: Because they don't care! For the life of me, I can't understand why anybody uses them as a delivery service.
Answer: Because they are a very poorly run company. It doesn't even run its offices domestically well, as you can see by the overwhelmingly negative reviews on this site. Use any shipping service over UPS.
Answer: UPS is a disgrace. They are a disregardful and careless business who lies to their costumers. Absolutely will not support ever again!
Answer: Sadly, today the term racist is used to define almost anyone that we disagree with. I am not a happy customer of the ups store but if you are getting death threats you need to contact the police. It is illegal in America to make death threats against anyone no matter their race, creed or color. That is the beauty of living in United States of America. You do not need to wait for a company to file charges against another human being who is threatening your life. You just need to take the appropriate, legal action against that person, good luck!
