I received a broken mug, because of transit. After emailing the images, they sent a replacement with better padding and expedited shipping. The mug arrived in time for a friend's birthday gift and i am impressed with how nice Unique Vintage customer service was! I could reach on the phone AND email. I'm a happy customer.
After receiving my order there was a production error in one of the dresses (one who was final sale and not eligible for return) But customer service answered quickly and after seeing photos of the fault they reimbursed me the full amount without me having to send the dress back.The other two dresses I ordered were beautiful (and without fault). But I have to applaud customer service for their quick and generous solution.
Prompt, responsive customer service after I emailed about my lost package, UV offered me a replacement order or a refund and I chose the replacement order which they placed within an hour! So impressed and happy!
I ordered several times over Christmas because I just couldn't stop thinking of all the cute things they have! One of my orders was during the onslaught of getting a gift before Christmas and I received a dress in a similar pattern of several styles. I recieived a style that I had not ordered but customer service quickly sent out the correct item and a return label for the incorrect item. Customer service is phenomenal, easy to work and resolved my issue within minutes. Can't go wrong with quick service like that!
Dress (swing) arrived in a timely manner however, the dress had deep wrinkles and creases. The dress could not be ironed nor steamed due to the material of the dress. What a disappointment because the dress itself is very cute. Will never order from Unique Vintage, ever again.
I ordered a beautiful 1940's style red strapless dress for a special occasion. It was on final sale. It said it came with a bolero. I received it and it did not have the bolero. I called Unique Vintage. They didn't seem to apologetic. And they found out they no longer had the bolero or any bolero in any size. I checked after I spoke with them and they are still selling this set! They did not offer me a coupon for the hassle or anything to maybe make this experience a little easier to deal with. They sent me a shipping label and said within a week I'd have my money back. I really would expect more from a company, especially since now I have to hurry and find another formal dress before I can even get my money back in order for a new dress to show up on time. This was my first time ordering and my last.
Ordered size, got a written correct size--but the actual outfit was about 5 sizes too small! It was ripped --and a bunch of bull! This store was crap--pure and simple. I was overcharged for stupid crap! I'm pissed and because of return policies, they won't take it back! NEVER EVER SHOP HERE!

This site is terrible! Two years I have tried to order from them. They wait a couple of days and call to tell me the dress I ordered is not available (even if it says it is)! I will not be ordering from them again. I found the same dress on another site and they shipped it within hours of me ordering it! Beware if you want a dress. You need to call them to make sure it is in stock. I don't know if that will even help because I called before I ordered my dress to get the measurements right.
I ordered three swimsuits after meticulously using their size chart and my measuring tape as tools for precision. The three suits I ordered were all 'Large'. Only ONE of them fit me, with the other two being too short and too narrow = too small. This is THIER mistake, NOT mine, yet, I had to pay to return the items and they charged me an additional $6. I did not complain. They need to return my $126 to my credit card since I sent them back the two defective swimsuits.
They confirmed with me that they received the two returned swimsuits, and now they want me to use a 'voucher' to buy more merchandise from them, and they refer to this as my 'return'. I am one step away from reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. These people will NOT get away with ripping me off.
I just wanted to exchange an item for a different size and they gave me a "credit" but the system can't seem to process it so I have no credit and no item. They have my money and are giving me an email runaround! I call during their business hours and no one picks up the phone. Unique Vintage, sucks, uniquely.

I don't know about their products but, an employee left his dog in his car in California 96 degrees today! When he came out from shopping, confronted, he said he left the air on?
Windows slightly cracked. I felt inside & it was hot. Dog was panting and clawing to get out of the car. When confronted, employee was nasty. I followed him to his work and called to confirm he does work here. PLEASE don't support this kind of behavior. If they would hire someone like this, should we buy. Thx.
You definitely should purchase a dress many people have already reviewed. I would say for once that's not reviewed you should ask a representative online. But I made my first purchase a week ago and I got my dress yesterday. I love it. It's worth the price especially since I've bought dresses from fashionnova, forever 21, but they are cheap quality. And I've even had "designer" dresses but they don't fit as nice. Anyway, my favorite purchases are swing dresses and fit and flare from unique vintage.
My friends know how much I love shopping at UV, so they bought me gift certificates for my birthday. I added the gift certificates and thought that they were saved into my online account, so I threw away the papers. You can imagine where this is going... I discovered that the gift certificates were not saved and had a minor stroke (this was probably user error on my part).
I thought that it was a total loss, but contacted UV's customer service just in case. Maura Cardona was kind enough to respond in less than 24 hours and asked me for some additional information. She found the unused gift certificates and send me a code to be used in their stead! I love the clothing and the customer service every time I shop in store or online. I wish there were more locations (really miss the Huntington Beach store).
I signed up for the Dress of the Month Club at the end of April. Shipment was a little behind because of COVID19, but communication with customer service is EXCELLENT and they let me know they would be getting my first dress out shortly, even with diminished staffing.
I received my dress today and it was worth the wait! Beautiful, fit well, and great quality... and it's got pockets!
Super excited to receive my next month's dress!
I am loving the two outfits I purchased. Perfect for swing dancing. I received my merchandise within a week of my order. One recommendation is to read reviews on sizing. I had one top that was a bit snug but I ignored the review.

Answer: I went off their sizing chart and everything fit perfect. Some dresses has different sizing measurements so not all XL are the same. I am guessing it is because of the material. One of the dresses I bought was 2 sizes smaller than I usually buy and it fit perfectly

We supply an instant voucher in the case a new purchase needs to be made right away! Most customer love that feature, as they do not need to wait to be refunded. However, the voucher does not need to be used, and upon receipt of the the return, and the voucher not being used, a refund will be issued. If the sizing is off we do ask that customer service is contacted, so that we can help with your return. Of course if the wrong information is listed, you do not need to pay the $6.00 return label fee.
