I am a fairly busy person with lots of responsibilities while going back to school. I haven't been 'in the game' for some time (10+ years) and this service really helped me get back in the swing of things. The writers are solid enough (back and forth required with instructions) and they always deliver on time. I would recommend them. The customer service is friendly and reliable too.

Horrific customer service. They wrote an essay that I had to spend days going through and making corrections. I was new to this site so I wasn't aware I only had 7 days for the essay to be corrected. It was completely over the word count and very muddled. When I called them they said they cant do anything about it and I would have to pay for it to be edited. They gave me 15% for it to be edited which I thought might not be that bad. Until I looked at how much it costs to edit 14 pages. $406! THAT WOULD BE OVER $600 ALTOGETHER. Stay well clear from this scammer website. They don't care about anything apart from the money.

Before clients are able to process their payments, they must agree to our Terms and Conditions and Fair Use disclaimer. Each item is hyperlinked and client can read them in full. Our Revision Policy is addressed in our T & C, so clients know that each revision request must be made within 7 days of the order's upload. Unfortunately, the only remedy for revisions past 7 days is to place an editing order. The higher the urgency (when one needs the order), the more the payment, which is likely why the price was so high.

Nevertheless, I am sorry your experience did not meet your expectations. That was never our intention.

The writer purposely didnt write about what i asked for because he/she knew i was on a very tighy schedule and any revision in less than 3 days will require me to pay. I contacted them any they pretty much ignored me. They used to be good but not anymore. Look some where else

When reviewing your order's history, I do see the writer completed the revision approximately 12 hours later. Also, I can assure you that the writer did not do this on purpose. Uploading late orders or forgetting instructions often lead to some sort of penalization, so writers do their best to avoid that possibility. Nevertheless, your order was an urgent one, so considering the extra time for an unexpected revision added on to your original delivery, a partial refund is in order. Company spent a lot of efforts on their "sells pitch" webpage, but once the order and payment is submitted, the support goes down hill. Other than the initial steps, from placing the order to making the payment, the webpage lacks instructions and requires you to go through a lot of additional steps prior to the "writer" actually getting started. I had a lot of misfortune happen lately and was really counting on them to come through - very very disaapointed.

Thank you for leaving your feedback. We apologize for any inconvenience regarding our verification process. Orders are flagged for verification when they meet certain criteria. Due to online credit card fraud, we had to put some sort of protocol into effect. We do understand it sometimes disrupts the flow, but it is an unfortunate necessity. We are actually working on making it an automated process before clients place their orders, but as of now, we do not have an ETA.

There was also another issue with the order in that PayPal held the payment for review. Ultimately, that made it out of our hands, even though you submitted your verification. PayPal is a separate entity and we only use it as one of our merchant accounts. We're sorry about that but we have to abide to their rules to keep our merchant account in good standing. As you may know, we processed your refund on September 29.

If you have any other concerns regarding our payment processing, please feel free to share them. In the meantime, we hope we were able to resolve your issue by promptly refunding the transaction.

Liars! Cheats! Paid $152 to have a paper completed in 20 days. The deadline passed, no paper. Was lied to and told it would be done the next day, again, no paper. Everyone I contacted lied! Both writers lied and customer service lied. I'm filing a complaint with the BBB. Don't waste your time or money with this company, they are a complete joke.

Hi Ashley. As I mentioned in my private message, we processed your full refund on May 5,2017. We would never keep a client's funds in the event a writer had an emergency and could not complete the order as scheduled. While a second writer was assigned to your order, there was a misunderstanding with the new deadline, so he or she ultimately decided it wasn't possible to complete in 2 hours for quality reasons. Nevertheless, I am sincerely sorry this happened and it was not our intention.

We are actively trying to improve our processes when it comes to emergency reassignment. To really decrease the possibility of last minute dropped orders, we need to add more staff writers to our pool. Staff writers are employees unlike the freelance writers, so we have them on a schedule. However, our standards are high, so the role is difficult to fill. It is no excuse. I simply just wanted you to know.

I paid a week ago for a paper. The day before the assignment was suppose to be due I realize the writer cancelled. Upper management or customer service was not aware until I said something. I gave them some time to find someone else and still not completed. The assignment was id was *******. I was a real customer. Yes, Ultius apologized but it was not genuine because there was no owner ship to the apology. How is the assignment out of your scope of service if the writer accepted the assignment? Then cancel a day before the assignment is due and I had to make customer service aware of the issue. I attached the two screenshots where the writer accepted the assignment and also the apology... Moving forward give your customers some notice if you do not agree to write an assignment and also own your apology..

I went to this website to order paper, first their chat said 'they may take up to 5 mins to respond to my query' however they didnt just take 5 mins, they didnt even bother responding at all... and I saw many spelling mistakes on their website. So I dont think they are capable of handling papers. I have attached the pic.

In regards to our website’s misspellings, please feel free to contact us with specifics. When a website is as large as ours, we often need several pairs of eyes to proofread any additions. In fact, I always suggest individuals read their work aloud because the ears will pick up what the eyes do not see. Even then, it does not always work, but it does decrease misspellings and grammatical errors.

This company is totally scam. They are not willing to make any changes on the wrong format. After waiting 5 days for revision. They will just tell you sorry theres nothing we can do. You have to place a new order... STAY AWAY!

Something told me not to trust this site. I've used essay shark in the past but being I was having an issue with pay pal I had to result to a writing site that didn't require the use of pay pal. I assigned the paper to be due within 24 hours and I wouldn't have mind if it was a LITTLE late if the writer had bothered to contact me, anything really " like hey I will be working on your paper and can assure it will be done with up most professionalism"just something to let me know I wasn't talking to myself. Anyway, so I kept checking to see if the paper had been uploaded the day it was due and saw that the time said the paper was due in another two days so I contacted customer support to which they replied the time automatically restarts after the initial due date has passed and that they contacted my writer and the paper would be delivered shortly. Keep in mind that the paper is now six hours past due and seeing as they obviously don't have a support system that has a clue of what's going and the writer obviously has no respect for due dates... here I am still waiting for my paper at 1:30am. I contacted them again and they said " it looks as if the paper has been uploaded" I'm not stupid I can clearly read that it says" final draft coming soon" and while i'm sitting here having a panic attack, the writer off somewhere having a good time not writing the paper. Like do they just hire anybody? The whole purpose of using these sites is to take the stress away and it's counterproductive when you pay someone good money to do a paper within a specific time frame and they fail to deliver. So even a refund can't pay for the valuable time loss. Now I have to pull an all nighter to try and complete this paper. SO UNPROFESSIONAL.

don't use unless you like paying and receiving your paper past the due date or not at all.

I had nothing but problems with this company from the first draft on. At first they seemed very pleasant and professional. HOWEVER, as soon as the draft was presented and I took issue with the fact that the paper was to be written for a college level course and it was on a 4th grade level, everything went down hill quick. This company is a total scam. They do not stand behind their work, they do not guarantee their work, they do not have qualified writers, and they are rude and unprofessional. IT is astonishing.

I submitted the work and paid additional to be done in 3 days. The deadline was missed without any notice. In fact they contacted me a day later saying the writer produced an additional page and we would like to invoice you for it. Are these guys kidding me or what? How is that making it right for me? At the very least they could have said we will deliver an extra page free of charge! But they did not!

I order a 24 hours paper, and the writer is not follow the instruction.
He gives me a garbage paper.
And the customer service said you need to wait for the 3 days revision, or you can pay extra money to get it in 6 hours.
Ultius is a garbage, don't try this one. If the writer makes some mistakes, it will not responsible for it.

I do understand it is frustrating, especially if clients offer detailed instructions. In the event a writer did not follow your instructions, we can always waive the expedited revision fee. All of our writers are independent contractors so we are legally obligated to give them three days to complete any revisions per their contracts. When clients need their revisions sooner than three days, we have to reassign the revisions, so we charge a small fee in order to compensate the revision writer.

The paper I received was embarrassing, it was full of grammatical errors and the writing was trash. Not only that but I laid out a very clear rubric of what I needed from the writer and they did NOT follow the guidelines. What I received read like a poorly written Wikipedia article. I feel like I got completely scammed. I don't know if I had bad luck or if the majority of the reviewers on this site have the lowest standards ever. I wouldn't submit this paper to anything but the trash can. Even if I were to ask for revisions it wouldn't matter because unless revising the paper means my writer will suddenly have a vocabulary above that of an eighth grader it isn't going to do squat to help me.

I expected to have my paper a day before it was due and see they change my due date to two days after my due date! I paid good money for the writer to write 1 page and it is still in process on the due date! What is going on!?

This is an all out SCAM! Almost a full day late with no response to emails or ability to reach anyone by phone. Only through the chat where you receive generic customer service responses that have no value. My paper was nowhere near what I requested and used none of the instructions. It wasn't even on the topic I asked for. I fully believe this paper to be unoriginal! Calling my CC company to file fraud complaint. STAY AWAY!

I am starting to think this is a well-marketed lie. I was very skeptical about this service, but I could not meet this deadline. If I did not make take any action to contact the company about my paper, then they might as well rob me of my money. I feel stupid for believing this is a real service. I extended my deadline and still no word from the company. The customer service is okay. The representative are nice, but they will not follow up with you like they promise. I will update once I have my paper. For now, my ratings is one star. It would be a negative star if I have the option.

One of the worst and most unprofessional companies I've come across. $#*!ty writers, most likely high school kids writing essays way above their grade. Asked the writer what his qualification was, he refused to answer. I believe if I'm paying 150 bucks for an essayl I need to know the calibre of the person writing it. Needless to say essay looked like it was written by an eight grader off of generic points, worse customer service, requested a reedit, but the manager "thought" it didn't need one. LOL what a joke. They probably spend more money replying to these reviews than paying their essay writers. Shame.

This company plagarised 50% of my paper, did NOT meet the deadline, and had to re-do the first paper because the writer completely messed it up. They ACKNOWLEDGED their writer didn't know what they were doing. Here's what they said:

It has come to my attention that you are having considerable trouble with an order, $$$$ I believe. I have done some investigating and first of all I would like to apologize for the behavior of our support representative. That is of course unacceptable and disciplinary action will be taken.

Regarding your order, all I can say is that you are correct. We are not a prideful company, I will not hesitate to admit the error here. The writer has had the requirements of the order explained and if she is determined inadequate for the task, we will make sure you get a different one. The writer went around the editorial staff in delivering the order to you incomplete, but we should have caught that right away.

It was done, 50% plagarised.

That said, after communicating with our support staff and writing management, we really think we've done a good job trying to fix this problem.

Here's what we've done to improve our services and your experience with us:

1. We've already given you a full refund for the entire order.
2. We've let go of the individual responsible for plagiarizing your work.
3. We're investing in better anti-plagiarism detection software to make sure these types of things don't happen again.

We pay a lot of money to have excellent anti-plagiarism software; unfortunately, it did not catch this particular issue. This was an extremely rare occurrence, and it has been dealt with as harshly as possible.

Aside from refunding your purchase (which we did before you posted this review) there isn't much more we can say other than that we fulfill thousands of orders a week and try our very best to make sure we send out original content. This was a big deal for us. This is not something that happens often and something we are taking seriously.

In looking at the way you were treated, I am happy that our support agents were gracious in providing you with 100% of your money back and a sincere apology.

We think we're taking your opinion very seriously and all of these things are being done to help build a better Ultius.

I am extremely disappointed in the product I received. I paid for original content and a quick turn around and received back my original essay with one paragraph that added no context to the essay. When I asked for a re-write I was told it would be done in 24 hours. It has now been an additional 24 hours and no one will return my calls. I would NOT recommend this service to anyone. $90 wasted.

I sincerely apologize for your experience. I’ve searched for your order using your first name and initial, and you did order custom writing. Also, it looks like you attached an earlier version of your admission essay. Unfortunately, I believe your writer misunderstood as she edited your original essay for flow and mechanics, and she added a paragraph.

They claim they can meet any deadline, but as soon as I put my order in, giving them 12 hours to complete 4 pages, they immediately asked for an extension. If I had the option of an extension, I would have done the work myself. But now the deadline has passed, and still no work has been produced. They cannot seem to get a hold of the writer supposedly working on my paper. So now, with class in 30 minutes, I have nothing to turn in and am horribly screwed. I better be getting a refund, but they seem rather shady and I will probably get screwed on that too.

Truthfully, urgent orders, with 24 hour deadlines and under, are sometimes difficult to place with writers. We are actively recruiting staff writers in the event our freelancers have unexpected emergencies. Staff writers will continue to work remotely, but they will be scheduled employees, so our Editing and Writing Team can use them to fulfill urgent orders. I am sincerely sorry that we were unable to deliver at this time.

When it comes to Ultius, how can anyone "be sure that when you place your online order with us for custom essays or research papers, you will be paired with the most qualified writer in your field." when the testimonial supporting that fact embedded in the same web page, is a hired actress from Fiverr.com, who can even do "testimonials in Spanish". I'm sure they'll just change the video to a new actor and provide a reasonable excuse, but trust and discretion is so vital in this type of purchase, bold-face lying within their own site makes them impossible to use, by any reasonable person. They'll probably delete this comment anyway.

This site is meant for active customers to offer feedback about our products and services. While it doesn't seem as though you have ordered anything with us we will nonetheless respond to your claims.

You accuse us of "bold-faced lying." This is really unfair, especially considering that we state that our video testimonials "reflect ACTUAL emails that we received when we asked [our clients] to give us feedback" right on our Reviews page. We never advertised that our sample videos are from "real clients," only that they reflect real testimonials we received (which is 100% true, by the way).

This type of action is slanderous and inappropriate. If you have a question about our services, we will be more than happy to answer it for you. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work, and our track record more than speaks for itself.
