Bunch of Scammers

Bunch of scammers. I ordered food from a restaurant that didnt turn up. When i contacted the restaurant i found that it was a new business and that the restaurant was no longer there. Customer support on Uber Eats refused to cancel the order and then when i was charged refused to refund me. I was a loyal user spending alot of money with uber and now will be taking my account offline and also closing my company accounts too. They do not car about customer service and they are stealing your money.

I cannot believe that you allow a company to accept deliveries that are no longer in business. This has left a truly sour taste in my mouth with a refusal you are willing to lose a customer? Such a shame.

I ordered in good faith to only find out that the restaurant is no longer there and you wont investigate.

This can happen to others i urge you to boycott and uninstall the app.

Bad Quality & Possible Food Poison practices

Food being delivered continuously fail FDA's temperature test. Restaurants continually deliver old, stale products and delivery drivers unfamiliarity with American driving makes food deliveries less desirable

The overall experience is prime as a driver. The GPS could be better. I want to change from bicycle to scooter class due to prop 22, but won't allow me too. Aside from the flaws, I enjoy driving for the service. Uber eats has great tips at times. We have to buy our own equipment as business owners tho

Going back to DoorDash

Keep trying to give them chances. Customer support is a joke. I received wrong items twice and was told to contact the merchant. For what? They can't rectify it. Back to DoorDash. At least the resolve issues.

Scam artists

Terrible customer service. Overcharge a minimum of $10. No matter what you won't pay less than$20 with the fees and ridiculous taxes. They refund you only %20 of what you paid without letting you appeal. Sharess your credit card information to the driver. Uber one does nothing, it says it's saving you more but also increased the original amount of the product so you only save a few cents. Doesn't control how the driver handles your food, meaning it can be tampered with.

I work from home and don't always have time to cook or run out for food so this is immensely convenient for me, to pick up the phone and have home cooked meals from restraurants I like delivered to my door. Yes, a few times I could have complained about a driver being late or rude or what have you, but on the whole the service is invaluable to me.

More than 5 drivers took the order then got to restaurant and cancelled it, finally got in touch with uber eats and after 1.5 hours of waiting, uber eats decided to cancel the order, made meself a sandwich in the end

I canceled an order because I used the wrong payment. I called the restaurant and they said to just reorder with the correct payment. I did that and Uber charged me twice, I tried to get the refund even after the restaurant said they would refund it and Uber refused to process the refund. With not other options and no recourse. The restaurant will give me store credit which is awesome but, there was no help from Uber at all. Horrible customer service horrible support. I won't be using Uber Eats again.

Someone created a **** account in the USA with my credit card details which is available nowhere except in my wallet. Card not lost. Uber Eats approved the transactions and no way to contact them since I DO NOT HAVE an Uber Eats account. R 2735 was purchased on my credit card. I provided the transaction ID's to Uber Eats and they are not helpful and referring me to my financial institution without checking who ordered on my card with transaction ID's. Useless bunch of ****mers. They got money and they can trace it to where it was delivered to but absolutely useless

Do not order from Uber! There are so many different third party delivery services that are way better with great customer service. I work at a fast food place, and get a lot of complaints when it comes to Uber because their customer service is trash! Orders are delivered to wrong addresses or delivery drivers steal food and Uber says "sorry not eligible for refund". I actually placed an order two days ago and my food was delivered to the wrong address, when I finally got a message back for them, they told me those exact words. I finally got to see what customers were talking about. When I asked why, they refused to give me an explanation.
They are stealing money and then try to blame the drivers or the stores. Terrible delivery service! Wish I can give them 0 stars!

DON'T ORDER FROM UBER EATS!
September 23, 2024

This will definitely be the last time I give Uber and business I am extremely un happy with the way they handled my issues. I had half of my food missing the food was cold because it got there way later than it was supposed to and the food I did receive was barely edible. I was told by Uber eats that I was not eligible for a refund. When I order something I expect to get what I paid for not get my money stolen!

For the first time placed an order, at the order confirmation message saw the address was wrong, tried to chage, impossible so I canceled it to place a second order for my hungry kid. This time changed address and placed a new order. The first place order was canceled probably at the next minute I realized address was wrong. But they charged me for both order saying the restaurant did already made the food! HOW IN THE WORLD THIS CAN BE TRUE.
I paid 130 dollars for 2 rolls of sushi and one soupe.
There is no costumer service realy, AI computer that is just sorry for you. Avoid them.

Horrible... canceled order 3 minutes after placing. They canceled the order but kept the full amount paid and kept the food! Why do they have the option to cancel if they are just going to keep the full payment and keep the food, such a SCAM!

I recently placed an order through Uber Eats from Target, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The driver, Yara, marked my order as delivered while she was still sitting in the Target parking lot, never actually bringing the food to my home address.

When I reached out to her via message to confirm my address, she did not respond. Frustrated, I called her, and she admitted that she hadn't delivered the order and was still in the parking lot. Instead of resolving the issue, she instructed me to contact Uber Eats and hung up.

I promptly reached out to Uber Eats customer service, expecting them to rectify the situation. To my dismay, they refused to refund my money and allowed Yara to keep my order. I was left without the items I purchased and out the money I spent. It felt like they were supporting the driver's actions rather than protecting their loyal customers.

As a customer of Uber Car Service for over 10 years, this experience has been incredibly disappointing. I have decided to change my tip for Yara to $0 and gave her a negative review. It's disheartening to feel like I was scammed by a service that should prioritize customer satisfaction. I will not be using Uber Eats again, as there are far more reliable delivery options available.

Overall, I would not recommend using Uber Eats based on this experience.

UberEats Irresponsible

Order Date 9/26/24.
~5:30pm, order placed, estimated receiving time 70 mins.
~ 6:55pm map showed driver 2 min away, waited at the door.
~7:00pm driver messaged,"I am here", but in fact, he was somewhere closed not the right street.
Between ~7:00pm to ~7:34pm, messaged many times with driver to tell the correct street but he
Stuck in the dead lane between two streets. First time, I asked him to stay, I would find him, he said yes but
Drove away. After fooled around for 30 mins with my correct address to ubereats and him, when I ran to
Looked for him because I could saw his car's location. I got the message "order canceled", thought I told

~7:34pm, I returned home after ran to next street to look for the driver.

My $188 order was not charged. Someone could have had a free dinner.

UberEats took care of no complain at all! Even gives no answer for correcting direction to the wrong place.

UberEats is a scam

Uber Eats is a scam.

The company refuses to provide a refund for missing items from a delivery. The vendor from which I ordered did not have an item in stock, and sent a nite stating that I should request a refund.

Uber Eats refused to do so. This is illegal and forfeits the position of Uber Eats as a legitimate business. They are scammers and crooks.

Edit: I have been refunded by PayPal after disputing the payment with them. PayPal will now pursue the matter with Uber Eats, a process much costlier than simply giving me the refund to which I am legally entitled.

I ordered food and was charged after the delivery driver passed my house and didn't deliver my food. I contacted the driver and he even confessed that he didn't have my food because the restaurant didn't have it ready but drove by in order to get paid for the delivery.

I reached out to uber but they were not allowing me to reach out for help, the website said that the charge had not gone through. So I was under the assumption that it was canceled. Then I checked my bank statement and the charge had gone through. So I reached out again and I was denied a refund because it was passed 48 hours. So uber got paid, the restaurant got paid, the driver got paid, and I was basically robbed.

I ordered a pizza
I ordered a pizza. The driver literally stole my pizza and Uber nor I couldn't get in contact with him and Uber Refused to give me my money back. To top it all off, I tempt the driver very well and I've been waiting for either my food or a supervisor to call me for over 3 days. I wouldn't recommend using uber for anything. They have no control over their drivers and half of them are not from even this country that do not even care. My question is, what about if that was my last? $25 that they took from me. What was my kid going to eat? Not right!

Never again!

Driver lied to me and told me he was not given all of my order. I called the restaurant, a place I often order from, and the manager told me that the driver was "in a hurry and did not wait for the rest of the order". The driver took the tip money, however. UberEats simply offered 'Uber Cash' as a sorry recompense. No thank you! Never again will I use UberEats!

They sell items that are not available and when you report it to their CHAT AI...NOT EVEN A TEAL PERSON, they tell you that you are out of luck! FEMA just might be better that UBER EATS and they are F-up also as we learned with Hurricane HEL-ENE
