Terrible customer service. I wanted to order from a local chicken place, and typed in the name. Usually, it's the first one that pops up, so I didn't even question it (I don't have the logo memorized and the name wasn't clearly labelled so I just went with it). Turns out it's a nearly identical chicken place in the same shopping center (same menu items too) so I ordered without much thought, only to realize my mistake right after. I immediately tried to cancel, only to find out the ONLY way to cancel was to go through their chat. It ended up taking 20 minutes for a representative to answer me, only for them to blame me for not reading the address (if you use the app, you know the address is not up front and center on the ordering screen, you have to click more details to find it) and then told me they could cancel my food but still charge me the full price! I told them, then don't cancel it, because I'd rather pay and get the food at least! He was very rude, blaming, and had absolutely zero solutions or remorse when I explained how frustrating this system is. I will hesitate before using this app again - I'd rather go through the restaurant's own website.
I was given the wrong order by wingstop, they assured me of a refund. When I called back 2 days later I was told the refund would take 5 business days. And now Uber eats is saying that since I didn't contact them directly with in 48 hours there's nothing they can do. Don't use this app it's a complete ripoff. They just steal money from families
I ordered from a local Thai restaurant back on 1/11/23. The total of the order was over $60. The driver either stole the food (most likely) or purposely left it in front of our apartment building instead of bringing it to the door 20 steps up from them. We have an apartment complex with over a 1000 residents so leaving something on the main sidewalk instead of bringing it to the door could only be done on purpose. Called customer service sent the picture the driver took on the sidewalk on the parking lot. They said the driver did all they could to find the apt.They refused to refund so stole the money for food and the tip from me. BEWARE
Happened several times that an UberEat driver picked up my order from the store but never delivered it to me. Not sure if the drivers were so hungry at that moment and decided to eat my food or something else happened but I never got any updates from them. UberEats need to make sure its drivers are reliable.
They do not have a good customer service either. If you call them, you are being directed to their app and their app is not that easy to work on your issues in.
I ordered 80 dollars of food, they dropped off the wrong name and food. I paid 80 and got 30 dollars of the wrong meal, with someone else's name on it. Irritated me so much I'll Never use Uber eats again...!
Beware of Uber Eats. I reviewed the bill, added a tip, and ensured the total amount. Yet my credit card was charged a tip on top of the total amount ( that already included the tip.) Sneakily the email receipt received stated that the added tip ( mentioned as an authorization hold) will be dropped off in a few business days. 3 months Later it's still on my credit card. And customer service has the cheek to tell me that I have been charged a tip separately and I didn't pay it in the total amount. And customer service totally denied the statement in the email where it said the authorization hold will fall off. This a typical situation where the vendor is making a fool out of you from both sides. Customer service just kept going round and round the bush, disconnecting the chat without hearing what I had to say. And kept transferring me. In short no resolution. What sneaks, liars and cheats. BEWARE!
I received my order from Uber Eats and none of the 4 items I ordered was correct. I tried to call the delivery guy but he acted like he did not understand. I reached out to UberEats customer service via Chat and via phone and was told by both the my order was ineligible for refund. I tried to reason with customer service since my order was totally wrong but it went nowhere. I am going to contest the charge to my credit card and will never order from them again.
About 3 weeks ago I was going to order some food from UBER EATS. When I tried to log in on the on my phone it was just spinning around (like it was thinking). I reported this incident to Customer Service. I was told to UNINSTALL the app and REINSTALL IT AGAIN, Still nothing worked but they noted my problem and said that someone was working on it. I then asked did they have a HELP DESK and they replied that they didn't but they were working on the problem. I just tried the app again and still spinningaroung like its thinking. Customer never got back with me by email or telephone to keep me informed. I even called back a few more times again but CUSTOMER SERVICE keeps telling me the same old stuff. As long as they got your money they just don't care about their customers. So i am please to annonce that I am done with UBER EATS. I will no longer be your customer since I gave you alot of business. CUSTOMER SERVICE is HORRIBLE!

The driver had my Uber address and was texting in the app in Spanish. I had written specific instructions which they disregarded. It was delivered to another building. Never got the meals. Will NEVER use them again.
They sent me someone else's food, thier receipt and everything that said UberEats and a different name. I sent them photos of the food and they still didn't give me a refund or replacement.
I ordered taco bell and was missing two items, oh well no refund.
Another restaurant forgot 3 items. No refund.
Basically no recourse for missing and incorrect food. Their reasoning is a year ago i recieved a refund for an order that was delivered to the wrong home and they gave me a refund. They took pictures on someone else's porch. It wasn't my house.
Why should I as a consumer be punished for stupid fast food workers and lazy drivers? My driver today handed me a KFC order an as i was going inside i was like, um i ordered Wendy's.
Ubereats screws over customers over and over again.
My order always comes 2 hours after I order, plus many times the food is cold or the containers are broken. Horrible service!
I ordered food, Uber eats delivered with missing items and was late. They did nothing for me. The driver did nothing. The restaurant (Applebee's) manager did nothing.
Uber never followed up after saying they would and I was unable to get in touch with anyone after that because their app sucks. Never ordering from them again. Pick up your own food - other business owners are honest.

We were not in town to receive an accidental placed order but order eats didn't cancel and Provide me a refund for it. The food just got delivered and stayed there two days before we can throw it as it is. This is so disappointing! Beyond frustrating!
After I placed an order, I hit the back key on my phone a couple times in order to review something, and the next thing I knew, I had a notification of ANOTHER order in progress, for a restaurant I had thought about ordering from days or even weeks previously. I had abandoned that cart back then because the total was too high, and now the app was suddenly putting the order through! I found the cancel command in under a minute, but the app said it was too late.
Then I tried getting help via the chat, and it just went round and round with scripted questions that didn't relate to my problem, even after I asked for a representative over and over. When I wrote "cancel" in response to "Is there something else?" it canceled the unwanted order the app had made without my consent, but added that I would STILL BE CHARGED! WTAF?!?!? They took over $40 and didn't deliver the food, which I at least could have saved for later.
The rep on the phone was almost as useless as the chatbot. I wasted over half an hour trying to fix a mistake the Uber Eats app made and instead of offering a refund, like DoorDash did once when there was an error, the rep said a supervisor would call within 48 hours. Like I'm going to sit by the phone for two days?!?!?!? Y'all have my email AND you know how to text me.
Never, ever using Uber again, for food or a ride.

We called customer service we were hung up on we didn't get all of are food and we were issued a "refund" after 2 hours on the phone for less than it cost to get the food and when we were understandably upset we were told in no uncertain terms to $#*! right off the driver was very nice but everything else about this company is horrible do not order from Uber eats unless you are planning on getting scammed
On 8/16/2023 I ordered from a BBQ restaurant in Topeka Kansas and told them that I wanted it delivered by 7:00 pm but we never received it. At 7:40 we called the restaurant and they told us that the food was ready and waiting but no one had come and picked it up, it was then that we were told that the order was scheduled for tomorrow, so we had to go get it. We were given a phone number for Uber eats customer service, we called but all we got was a message "an error has occurred" we also tried texting them but we're on a site called Howly and got a response from them that they would send the report to their "experts" and wanted us to sign up with Howly.com for $1 for the first month and $49 after that.we feel we have been ripped off. And we won't be. Using them again.

Answer: It is impossible! Emails, messages, non responsive customer service! But they have no problem taking $ you did not authorize them to take!

Answer: We need a class action lawsuit against Uber Eats! Drivers stealing food not held accountable. Food not being picked or wrong orders and Uber eats won't fix it.
