I was enticed to book our ticket because it offers much lower cost compared to other agency, unfortunately the passenger name differs from what i had filled up from my application form. I tried to emailed them immediately to rectify the passenger name since it is not my fault, error was committed by their carelessness to properly issue the correct details of each passengers but sad to say no actions were taken, they just reverted back with complain ticket but until now no rectifications of our ticket were issued.
I won't recommend this agency to others even with their enticing offers.

Hi there, a friend and I purchased 2 tickets to fly from Dubai on Tuesday the 14th of April 2022 to Colombo and returning on the 19th of April - reference number 2051****, we paid 4107. 77 AED. We didn't receive the ticket straight away and after some research we learned a lot of people have been scammed by this same company, and they were reported to you, so we decided to contact their customer service and as the ticket was purchased less than 24 hrs they told us we are entitled for a full refund. I have the phone conversation with the phone rep recorded, and I have the file to play it back or pass it on as evidence. We have evidence that we purchased the ticket via an email from them in addition to another email from them confirming that they are processing the refund, the amount wasn't mentioned in the email. The rep that we spoke to also advised that the refund would take 3 days. This has caused us a lot of stress and cost us a fortune we are unsure what to do and hoping you can help us - my friend is also helping me with this as we bought the tickets together from my card, and we were meant to travel - I'm hoping you can help out, and I'm happy to send the confirmation email from travelgenio's side in addition to the recording we have - please advise on what we can do or how you can help us - we look forward to hearing back - User's recommendation: Donât ever use them and report them everywhere you can

I am extremely disappointed after finding out my flight has been cancelled by TravelGenio (even if the flight was still active until July 2022) and also they only refund me less than %50 of the cost of the flight, loosing $600 over a flight that was still valid!
Not only this but the customer service in Chatswood was terrible and extremely rude to me when asking questions as to why I wasn't getting a full refund - as it was TravelGenio who cancelled my flight.
Please do not use this service.

They are thieves and liars. I had booked a trip for my daughter which ended being so delayed that she was going to miss her connecting flight. She cancelled the flight with the airline and took another flight. The airline was wonderful and understanding. They were willing to refund her money but because the original payment was from the the agency (who I paid), the refund would go to the agency and the agency was to refund me. This occurred in the beginning of January. The airline gave me the date, credit card number and authorization for the refund. It was credited to Travelgenio on Jan 6. I have repeated called them and they continue to say they haven't received it. I contacted my credit card, Capital one, and Travelgenio refuses to acknowledge receipt or contact the airline to follow up. I have called more than a half dozen times. The last time they just blew me off and hung up. They have over $1000 of my money that they are keeping illegally. I am going to seek out justice any which way I can, but for now I am going to post this on every review website to warn other people about this scam agency. I hope this stops even just one person from making the mistake I did using Travelgenio.

My mom dad were left stranded for over 8 hours at the airport thanks to Travelgenio's incompetent service. They sent us an updated itinerary which said reservation confirmed on it and upon reaching the airport the airline informed my parents that their name was not in for that flight. When I called travelgenio customer service (which in itself seemed an impossible task), they told us that you should have called us 24 hours before the flight boarding time, so we could have done something. They said that the email for the updated itinerary was a robot email and we should have called them to confirm it. But I don't understand why that automated email had reservation confirmation on it. Although they offered a refund, but due to their negligence my elderly parents had no where to go after 8 hours of harassment at the airport.

Zero star company! Don't book on their page!
We booked tickets 2 weeks up front and they never sent us the tickets. They kept on having the status "processing" in their app. One day before departure they informed us they weren't able to book the tickets. We end up having to book new ones four times the price. They didn't refund the difference. Very slow and basic customer service. It takes days to have a reply, what a joke!

I had an AeroMexico flight booked from London to Mexico on 21st August 2021 that needed to be changed. After being unable to get in contact with Travelgenio I managed to get through on the phone. Unfortunately, I was unable to change my flight as the ticket prices were almost 4x what I had originally paid. I was told I could get a voucher that I would be able to use in the future so as this was the best option I agreed. I was told I had to pay a €50 service fee to Travelgenio in order to get my voucher, which I did. The operator said I would receive the details of the voucher via email after the call but unfortunately, that email was never received. It is now April 2022 and I still do not have any voucher or contact from Travelgenio. I have tried to contact this company many many times via email and phone, however, I have had no success and have been left on hold for hours on a paid phone number. It is unacceptable. I spoke with Aero Mexico and they assured me that the flight I booked was elligable for change/voucher but that I have to go through the travel agent. I have the booking reference and details ready to process this complaint should they be needed.
Travelgenio is not responding to my emails and just directs you to email *******@travelgenio.com but then ignors the email. This company is a joke. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Buyer beware! Complete scam of a company. Still trying to get a refund from a flight that was suppose to take place in March of 2020 when the Covid lockdown started. They continue to push it on the airline, but when speaking with the airline they inform me the delay is in no means their fault. Basically, Travelgenio lies to its customers in order to hold on to your money and pushes the blame on the airline company.

I have booked tickets for my whole family with them. Later I asked for refund because I even paid extra in my tickets to make them refundable. But their refund team is not at all cooperative and did not refund. Now I sent them helpdesk to change my booking and it's been more than a week they didn't even respond. Now I read the comments about this website. What a mistake I did. This website should be immediately blocked as not all customers have time to read reviews first and then book.

I was charged a certain amount (70GBP) to change my flight date. The payment was not accepted due to various mistakes at the merchant's end (TRAVELGENIO). Finally, they accepted the payment with a new link, but then did not change the date of my ticket. INSTEAD, they asked for more money (93GBP) to complete the process despite the delay being THEIR FAULT. NOW, my first payment is with them and they are unresponsive over email or call. THEY HAVE STOLEN 70GBP and NOT CHANGED MY FLIGHT DATE. I not only plan to SUE THEM FOR FRAUD but my friends with a wide (1 MILLION PLUS) following on social media (Twitter) will broadcast my story to their followers so as to prevent others being SCAMMED by Travelgenio ever again.

I tried to claim about refund but they haven't answered to me yet.
I really can't understand why they could do like this.

I called after twelve hours of booking to cancel because my plans changed. I specifically ask the TG agent, "Will I get a full refund with no fees charge if I cancel". The agent said there will no issues and I will get a full refund. I proceed to cancel then I book another flight to meet my needs. I get an email afterwards, I need to call the airline for my refund. I called the airline and they said there's a fee involved because bookings can only get full refund if you cancel within 4hrs of booking from 7days or less. So the TG agent LIED to me, I'm out $320 dollars. TG said the only thing they can do was give me my flight back which won't work because of my changes and I don't want screw again plus I already booked another. They to educate their staff as this was their stupid mistake! Stay away! Never using them again!

I booked round trip from New York to Istanbul on Turkish airline using Travelgeno (never used this agency before), my return flight affected by the bad weather at Istanbul and Turkish airline offering refund but has to go through the agency since I didn't book directly through the airline, whoever, Travelgeno refused to refund me the return flight value stating I already used part of the ticket. This is to me absolute scam, if the airline issuing me the refund because the reason I missed the flight was the bad weather where many flights were cancelled, why Travelgeno refuse to transfer the refund back to me!

My advice to all, do your self a favour, never book with Travelgenio, they are scammers. The agreed on price was increased by $300 mysteriously, it is an illusion that the ticket is cheaper, however mysteriously the charged price on your credit card is higher which makes the ticket same as if you buy directly from the airliner. Calling their customer service is most difficult, you have to free your self for the whole day to get through, the rudest agents if you ever get through. 24 hour free cancelation is a big lie, to cancel the ticket you will be charged 50 euros, and will take up to 3 months to get the refund if ever. It basically lies and highway robbery, please protect your self and stay away.

Received a flight cancellation email from airlines and they told me to contact an agent. Got connected with the Travelgenio agent after attempting for several days. I was open to accommodations on a later flight, but they replied that they couldn't provide me with any ticket and asked me if I wanted a refund. Since, I had no option I asked for the refund. However, they said that they will deduct $30 as a service charge. Also it might take 3 months to get the refund. This is the second time it happened to me while booking online with agent. They scam people to get the service charge on service they don't offer.
So, if you book the ticket from travelgenio its probable to get the ticket cancelation and on top of that you will pay their service charge for nothing. Also, its really hard to contact their costumer service which is a very poor service by the way.
