This agent show on their online portal a great and most expensive itinerary for 70% of the cost compared to other famous and professional travel agencies. Once we booked and paid, you will get an email saying this ticket is no longer available so they booked another ticket for us with a completely different itinerary. This ticket is 30% more expensive than all other travel agencies.
Contacting them is a dream. No replies to any emails or no contact phone number or communications whatsoever. They don't care and hold your money leaving you no other option but to pay the extra money and get their proposed crappy tickets.
PLEASE STAY AWAY! Pay extra with a reputable agency and book your ticket and have peace of mind. Don't get trapped in this agency Travegenio.

I booked a flight from US to Sweden four months before departure. Two months later I received an email from Travelgenio in Spanish. I don't speak Spanish. A week before my flight leaves I find out that the airline changed my departure to one day earlier and canceled the last flight on my return trip, leaving me stranded in Newark instead of my final destination in Seattle.
I spent almost two hours on phone with customer support only to be forced to pay a $250 (€220) fee to add the last flight home to my itinerary. A flight that I had already paid for once.
DO NOT BOOK YOUR TRIP WITH TRAVELGENIO!

I have booked flight with this provider, and added an insurance in case something happens. My flight got cancelled due to bad weather conditions, I have reached out to travelgenio if they can help me with the issue and refund the cost of my flight. I was very unlucky and got unskillful agent with no empathy, he was talking to me, and didn't offer much help. Just basically told me my insurance refunds money back only for medical reasons. I told him I wasn't very happy with the way he handled my issue. Within about 20 mins I have got an email from Travelgenio PissedCustomer service- I'm not joking! I am very annoyed by that, and feel this is totally inappropriate, because I wasn't raising my voice or cursing or anything during my phone call. I just said the customer agent doesn't seem to be sorry about my issue, that's all. WHAT A TERRIBLE COMPANY!

Price charged is different from the agreed payment. No confirmed E ticket after booking was completed. Customer service phone number doesn't exist and after I sent an email, the Customer Care Team replied that booking cannot be cancelled and non refundable. I sent the screenshots of the total charged before I did the booking. The Customer service representative replied that there will be airline cancellation fee of 90 Euro per passenger penalty fee and 50 euro per passenger for administrative fee. Please READ all the comments here, mostly are negative. This company is crooks and Liar! Don't ever make a mistake trusting to book any of your flight! The company should be able to update customer on flight status, not only they didn't do that and I was returned from the airport, called the company to reschedule another flight and they told me that they cannot help me. The lady told me that I was not qualify for a refund and I had to remind her that I purchased insurance in addition to them cancelling the flight on me and then she told me that I should apply for refund as she cannot help me and hang up the phone on me. NO ONE SHOULD BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE AGAIN, THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY RESPECT FOR PEOPLE COMMITMENT!

They issued two tickets in my name when one of them should have been in my husbands and then they refused to corrected it causing me to buy a third ticket so my husband could get home. If that were not bad enough their customer service was one of the rudest I have ever dealt with. At one point the representative was screaming and calling me names over their mistake. The second ticket issued in my name even had his birthday on it. I am pretty sure I know my own birthday.

Made reservations for a quick jump between Vancouver to Penticton. Very shortly after I received an e-ticket, I needed to cancel the flight.
Got caught in an e-loop, between email and their "MyTrip" access on the site; just round and round. Click, click, click. Finally, received an email that they received my request to cancel. 12-24 hours later, they confirmed they canceled the ticket, and that there was no refund. Really?! After such slow confirmation and email communication?!
My bank thought the purchase was shady, and sent a "Please Confirm" warning to me - I should have heeded that and not booked.
I want my refund.

Tickets were purchased on July 23,2021 it is not January 28,2022 and I still haven't received the funds for the cancelled airline tickets.

This website Travelgenio is BIG FRAUD, initially when i booked my ticket it was showing Rupees 83,901.20 total amount when i did my credit card transaction. Later when i received ticket confirmation with receipt it showed and my card was charged Rupees 90,000. No customer service number is provided anywhere. I am glad that i have the screenshots taken of everything, since i read some of the negative reviews prior to booking my ticket.

I had booked a roundtrip with this provider on January 21st (friday) and received a confirmation email saying I got on both flights.
Then on Sathurday(following day), I received the followong email.:
We are contacting you to inform you that the airline was not able to confirm your booking.
Alternatively, we made a new booking with the best fare available, with a total price of 897.78CAD (395.00CADmore than the amount paid)
First off the new price is more than double the initial price and the math in that email makes no sense. I only paid 380.25$
I called the airline asking if the initial flight had been cancelled or if they were fully booked. The agent let me know the flight had no changes to it and had lots of seats left for the flight. So that being said this does not pass as an airline issue but the travel agencies mistake! It is ridiculous for them to think I would pay more than double the agreed upon price over their mistake!
This email from travelgenio is complete BS and they are trying to get a bigger pay out. I have tried to contact them everyday since Sathurday to let them now I will not pay the aditional amount and expect to be placed and the agreed upon flight at the agreed rate!
Please do not book anything thru this website it will only give you a headache!

I can't print my ticket. The airlines have no record of my purchase. The booking codes and ticket number don't match the format of the airlines. I'm worried this is fraud.

Terrible company! I paid for travel insurance. My 12 year old son was badly injured with 3rd degree burns. He was admitted to the hospital for 3 weeks, having 4 surgeries. They refused to refund me because I had to PROVE I was able to travel from my country with COVID. I did that. Now they want more documentation for my sons injuries. I sent pictures, hospital documents and a doctors note and they are now claiming I cannot receive a refund because "surgeries are not covered. Only injuries are". The emergent surgeries were BECAUSE OF AN INJURY! Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT use this company. You also will NEVER get in touch with the customer service. I waited for 56 minutes, and was transferred to the survey option asking how my customer service was. I never spoke to anyone! This happened multiple times. I paid $250 for travel insurance and now they owe me $1700 and they refuse to refund me.
