Two holidays with TUI have followed the exact process, but haven't moved to payable. One is over a year in process. The other over 11 months. Lots of being fobbed off, and little action by Topcashback. This is a couple of hundred pounds in total. TUI have managed to pay via Quidco since, so it appears that they aren't flooded with transactions at their end. TCB are a commission based organisation. Surely the bigger payments mean more money for them? Really disappointing performance.

When I do small amounts of TopCashback it tracks through in a matter of hours,However when I do larger amounts of TopCashback it takes months,and usually only get Cashback after a lot of Hassle.One lot took nearly a year.I think it is like a Lottery,you do not know if you will get anything.

Cashback being a commission payment that we share with you does mean it takes a few weeks to progress or in some cases longer. The retailers need to be sure you keep the purchase which is usually the longest element of the wait time. We'll always do what we can to show to people before purchasing the average time it takes to get cashback moved to payable so you and everyone else is aware of this timeframe before purchasing.

I started using this app for almost 2 months now, paying my purchases always through it. Interestingly the highest amounts does not even appear in the list. I did not received any cashback after my other purchases so I have no idea what is the point using it apart from them collecting data on me. I don't recommend it.

Purchases do not always track. Recently with Superdrug. When a claim is made these aren't always upheld. My claims are always genuine. There should also be an option for a partial claim if items meed to be returned.

Thanks for your review, we'll always dispute a claim with a retailer as much as we can and if the dispute is unsuccessful, then give you a reason why.

In regards to the partial claim, if you do have to return an item please do lodge a claim as normal but just amend the information to not include the items you returned. We'll then do our best to recover the cashback for the items you kept.

Small purchases track well but big purchases seem to be problematic, especially eBay for me. EBay large purchases don't track, you raise a claim and you get nothing. I've just used TC to change my broadband provider and my tracking has happened but at a lower rate. The large purchase issue is really frustrating as you think you're getting some decent cash back when you get nothing.

It's disappointing to hear the experiences you've had have been for large purchases. I want to assure you, there is no deliberate settings in place to make this happen it is an unfortunate coincidence.

With a claim, it takes us a number of weeks to get feedback from the retailers appointed tracking network, but I want to assure you as soon as we hear back we will write back to you directly on the claim.

I do not recommend this company. They don't pay out on high value products. Don't settle for there excuses. They will keep your money. Reporting to hmrc. Scam

It's disappointing to hear this feedback. TopCashback was created to help save people as much money as possible - both high and low values. We never profit or make money when cashback is declined whether the amount that is declined is small or high as we only pass negative news onto you if we're told we're not eligible for the commission payment that we'd be giving you in the form of cashback.

There are reasons we are not found eligible for cashback - whether this is because the retailer terms haven't been met or if the commission has been paid elsewhere to another company. Commission going elsewhere is normally the declined reason that causes the most upset as we're not told who has earned the commission instead of us. However, it's usually preventable which is why we do have a newly launched tracking tips page within our help section. I would encourage you to check these help as they've been designed to help avoid our members from getting declined cashback. At the same, we are working with the wider industry to ensure that tracking is as robust as both you and we expect it to be.

I've used this service for some years now, out of all of my cashback purchases over 70% of them have been declined.

With a gross profit in 2022 of £27million. It is my honest belief that TopCashback aren't entirely honest and are pocketing peoples cashback for themselves.

I have earned a lot of money from Topcashback. Generally I find it really easy to use.
Just lately though I have had a few that haven't tracked and It always seems to be on fairly large orders with better rates of cashback.
Generally, once put to a claim it is sorted out OK, but sometimes the company disputes it, which is annoying when I know I have done everything right.
Nevertheless I would still recommend as overall I have earned a lot from Topcashback.

Have been using this site for ages now. So easy to navigate and some great offers on lots of websites. Always worth checking in before making both small and large purchases. I used a voucher for an extra 7.5% at a restaurant for the first time recently and everything went really smoothly. Great service Topcashback!

I can assure you we will pay out on all eligible tell a friend bonuses.

Your friend will have to earn £10 eligible payable cashback - there are a limited number of exemptions to cashback that isn't counted. This includes TopCashback funded promos. Please check out the terms of the scheme for more info on that.

I hope once your friends do earn this amount of money that you do enjoy the earnings you make through it.

I work in IT so know all about tracking and cookies and how these sites work. I am now finding that there's a regular pattern that cash back that's only pennies tends to track without fail. However when you start getting into cash back that's £sss then here's where things start to get odd. I have been using top cash back for 2 years and mostly large amounts mysteriously get declined. Suspicions were alerted to the latest one when I booked our entire holiday through TopCashback. The cash back was £219 so a big one. I was surprised to see the cash a k track firstly at all but it did, then shortly after I got the email stating this had tracked and now was confirmed and I just now had to wait for it to become payable. I checked my account and there it was sitting in my account £219 cash back. Surprised to say the least. But here's where it gets dodgy. The following day TopCashback email me to tell me it's been declined by the retailer even though I have the previous email saying the retailer has confirmed the cash back and it has been showing as confirmed in my account for the past 24 hours. What I see here is large payments getting confirmed and TopCashback not passing them on as this clearly shows it was confirmed by the retailer. I think this big payment slipped past top cash back and they noticed too late yet still took it back and now they trying to tell me it's the retailer who declined it.

Both small and large cashback amounts are equally as important to us.

As a site, we wouldn't have been able to grow the level of support we have if we only passed on the smaller amounts of cashback. It would also be not innkeeping with our own fair play policy.

It doesn't sound quite that your claim was approved and then declined right after and so if you could either reach out on your claim or via contact@topcashback.co.uk and we will check that out for you.

Its a good site and in general the service is quite responsive but you can never tell what amount of expect based on the offer you have selected and the calculation is not at all transparent. Takes ages to settle the cashback missing claims.
I will still keep using it to see how the current missing claims will go but it is a pain to keep track of as there are a number of items i had to raise it for.

We aim to make the calculation as transparent as possible. Some retailers make different decisions about whether VAT and Delivery will be removed from the purchase amount before the cashback is worked out. Where we know this happens we do include it on the retailer page.

With claims, while the process is time consuming for the retailer to get back to us, we'll ensure to update you as fast as we have an update. Our best support however, is helping to prevent claims being required by giving you and all of our members tracking support tips.

Both the wife and I use top cashback.
Always check topcash back first before any Internet shopping.
Perfect for making that little bit extra in savings, soon mounts up. Usually exchange mine for Amazon vouchers.
Would highly recommend signing up.

Have used Topcashback for a number of years but in recent years every time I purchase any type of insurance something always goes wrong and no cashback ever materialises and there's always an excuse.
I have had enough of Topcashback and their fairy stories for refusing cashback as this never happens with Quidco.
I gave Topcashback one last try with home insurance and as always... nothing...

Ensuring you earn cashback is the reason we exist as a company and have no intentions on declining that to you unless we're declined the commission that we share with you.

I notice you mention you have this with insurance and so there are a couple of situations that could have led to this happening. This includes browsing for your policy / creating quotes before using our site. The reason this can have an impact is because the origin of your quote generation can be deemed as the reason you made a purchase and therefore be paid the commission rather than us. This isn't a situation exclusive to TopCashback and instead would be the same with any cashback service.

Therefore, it's advisable to be clearing cookies and cache before logging in to use our site and also to disable ad blockers and to not use any presaved quotes. This will give you the best chance of cashback success.

Several months without receiving cashback payment (Hotels.com)

Also Topcashback tracked an incorrect cashback rate (2%), while the expected cashback is 11%.

Not worth the headache.

Your cashback with hotels.com will only progress once you have completed your stay with them. This may take a while to pass, depending on how far you booked in advance.

In regards to the rate,I would first check you made a purchase that would meet the requirements for the higher rate. If you did, please lodge a claim for this so we can ask the retailer why we haven't been paid the higher rate of cashback.

Been happy over the years with Topcashback.co.uk but not so sure at moment. Had a nonpayment it should have shown up within 48 hours but didn't so I have made a claim and have now been told that i will need to wait until August for it to be sorted. Really I think that someone thinking, if it takes that long to look into that may be the client, will give up and forget about the claim but sadly I won't as its worth nearly £50

Hey Cavin,

The reason we hold back claims until the stay is to speed up the process for everyone. If we were to submit before the stay the retailer could only do half a job at working out if we're eligible for the cashback and so would have to look at it a second time and so it would hold everything up. It's for this reason we submit a claim after the stay so the retailer can check the purchase itself met the terms and that we were eligible for the money we'd pass over to you as cashback.

I hope this explanation helps to understand why we do it in this way and why we don't submit claims like this until after the stay.

You will not be given the cash back. It's click bait they'll get paid for you using thier links but won't actually pass it on.

They'll then say it takes 8 months to investigate.

It's all a massive con!

Had numerous problems with not getting cashback. Sometimes I get an email after purchase, sometimes I don't. To be honest I have given up clicking to report missing cashback, takes time and effort for pennies, plus after you report it things get 'frozen' for months on end. Don't think I would recommend it to anyone. Too much aggrevation for very little reward

With missing cashback claims, while we have to submit it through a much bigger system we have a team of colleagues who are continually chasing up retailer's and their cashback administrator to ensure the process is as speedy as possible. We also continue to look internally about how we can make this process even simpler for you.

The key for us is helping you avoid needing claims and to avoid that process entirely and so I hope I can help with that by offering a couple of suggestions. You likely are already double checking over the retailer terms already to ensure what you are purchasing is eligible for cashback. Therefore my suggestion is to do with cookies (and not the ones you eat). If you go onto your internet history settings and clear cookies and cache and so this right before using us, this can really help avoid claims being needed.

I do hope this helps and that your experience picks up going forward. We don'ts want you missing out on cashback.

More often than not, purchases are not logged or when they are often they reject your claim or you find the cashback amount is much lower than advertised. They make a boat load out of you but hardly ever pass on any of the earnings you help them make. I wouldn't bother!
