I have made several purchase's through Thread Up and have been very satisfied. I took a star off because of 2 reason's.
1) my package was not shipped to me in a polka dot box. If you say your " polka dot box" is on it's way, send a polka dot box because that's what I'm looking for.
2) I bought a pair of sunglasses that came with a case per picture. The case wasn't the same brand as the sunglasses.
Otherwise, I've been satisfied! I've recommended this site to several people I know who love's to find a great deal!
This is my second order and this time everything was perfect my last order I ordered a clearance shirts I believe a route 21 and the beads were falling off of it when I received it so that was disappointing but my second experience was great
These cute ankle boots are perfect for my fairly formal job in the winter. More comfortable than heels, but more formal than flats. Fit perfectly and so fun to unwrap them from the box!
I got my teenage daughter to clean out her closet which included tags still on, never worn, in style clothing. The thredUp polka dot bag was filled with over 50 items. After waiting 6 weeks for them to process my bag, I received an e-mail stating that 5 items were accepted and that my "upfront" payout was a whopping $8.00 (of course $4.99 shipping and handling was to be deducted from that leaving me to receive $3.01. I can't wait to break the news to my 15 year old that she made $3.01 towards her Christmas shopping. What a rip off this company is - stay away!
It's been over a week and I have not received my items yet.
I have now ordered twice from thredup. I was overly impressed with the first order and all of my items being brand-new with tags still attached. The second order I was averagely ( if that's a word) satisfied. Two of the items that they said were in perfect condition could be mistaken for brand-new had stains. While there he were small stains I could still see them. My kids will probably still wear them but I was a little less impressed the second time around. However the price and the price of shipping still makes me a satisfied customer.
THis is the second time I have purchased a handbag from ThredUp. The first was nice but not in what I or anyone else would call great condition. The strap was frayed and the zipper on the side didn't work as it was missing teeth. I kept it as I had little choice. Now the second handbag I have bought is not the size measurement they said it was. Again, the bag is nice and IS in like new condition but it's a good 2 inches smaller all around (height and width) then advertised. I don't think I can buy another as I don't trust the description.
Loved everything in my order, and the whole process was so easy!
