My mom had ordered two bridal bouquet charms for my brother and his fiancés wedding. We got 2 DIFFERENT ones, placed the pictures exactly how we wanted them and ordered them. What arrived a few days later was poor craftsmanship and terrible charms. The pictures we ordered were one of my brother and grandma and one of her and her grandma. Instead of receiving 2 DIFFERENT ONES, we got 2 of my brother and grandma but my grandma's head is chopped off the bottom of the picture. How could they send that thinking it was okay? It is disrespectful and LAZY. I officially hate this company. They clearly don't pay attention. I am disappointed and angry.
We ordered 8 pocket knives as a gift to our Board of Directors. We paid for next day shipping and when the day came (Fri) and we didn't receive the order, I called to check. I was told they don't ship next day to PO Boxes, so the order was changed to standard shipping. I did not receive any sort of notice or email. I gave them a business address and they said it would be the next business day from that point (Mon). I call to check on the order Sunday, and it is still in SUBMTITED status! Not only did the knives arrive too late, but half of them weren't even engraved.
My boyfriend got me a mother's day gift it was a necklace with my son's name in it and when he brought it home my son's name was spelled wrong. He hadn't noticed at the store so he returned it the next day and they said they would have it redone but it would have to wait till the next day so we waited and then the next day we went to pick it up I waited in the car and he brought it out and it was all scratched and marked so I went in and they said oh he must have dropped it we would never sell something like that so they never did anything about it we asked for a manager but he wasn't there and I still haven't had it fixed worst customer service ever. Don't get anything from there.
I went to the Easton site and met Marcus on 3/13/17 talk about things to remember he made my overall experience wonderful I purchase a flute not noticing they come in sets when I informed him that I misunderstand he accommodated me by switching the flutes out and engraved it with a different saying all while doing this he had positive attitude. And not once did he complain THANKS MARCUS YOU WERE AWESOME...
I ordered my stuff and told the lady I needed it by that Saturday because we were having our Christmas Party the lady guaranteed it would be ready for pickup that Friday by 8pm. We went up there saturday morning as soon as they opened and it wasnt ready well my mother didnt get her gift because our party was at 11 and here it is Sunday and it's still not ready!
I ordered my snow globe in november and its december 26th and i still havent got it! They wouldnt even let me ship my order. I emailed them multiple times and they gave me a different date when it would come everytime! Then when i emailed saying i want my money back they wouldn't reply back. I really wish i read the reviews on this place before ordering. This is ridiculous and if i dont get this snow globe soon im getting my money back.
I worked there a really long time and their district managers are awful and the regional directors don't care... upper management has their own rules they play by... the field is considered peons!
I ordered an ID bracelet for my husband in order for him to have a memory of his father. The bracelet they sent me was correct, but it can only fit a small child. NO ADULT can fit this bracelet. None of the stores carry extra links and customer service told me that I would have to pay for another bracelet that they can take the links off of... wth... I paid good money for something that my husband can't even wear and the only solution is to spend another 150 for a bracelet that they can destroy!. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM! They will take your money and give you useless gifts.
I ordered a custom bracelet for my Mother 4 days before Mothers Day, as it said it was guaranteed to be here by Saturday, the day before Mothers Day! I never received it, so I called and they said it's not going to be here until May 14th, after Mother's Day, then she explains that the reason why it's late is because it could have been out of stock, so I asked why no email? She states to answer my question, saying Oh we only send another email out if we cannot get your product!
In other words, GUARANTEED to get here is NOT GUARANTEED!
SO DISAPPOINTED and upset when you spend 50$ or more and it doesn't get here!
I recently bought an item online for my dad's upcoming birthday. My item arrived 4 days early. Was packaged well, looks great & I am over all very happy with my purchase.
I took a brass ornament for engraving. The clerk used two different fonts for the two initials. She stated "I guessed the machine is messed up". She damaged the product. When I told her it was not satisfactory she stated to bring the receipt and Things Remembered will reimburse the purchase price. The following day I returned with the receipt. She was there along with someone else, I assumed the Manager. He stated I had to buy a new item and then they will purchase the item. I purchased the it in another city, his response, very condescending "I guess you have to go back to that city and purchase a new one". Obviouslty something I can't do. When I told him what the other clerk (Christina) had said the day before, he relied that is not company policy. I guess they don't train their employees properly.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE! SPECIALLY IF YOU ARE JUST BRINGING YOUR PERSONAL ITEM TO ENGRAVE!
I ordered a watch with engravings for my sons college graduation... first one -engraving incorrect-second try- engraving incorrect-third try-never received FOURTH try-watch broke after 2 wearings... finally I call for a refund -not being convinced to gwt a replacement-wait 2 weeks... NOTHING-call to find out the refund had not even been processed-LAME products and very LAME customer service-would never recommend this company to anyone
My issue with Things Remembered online is that they do not seem to have the product quantity right.
I picked out a lovely vase that said it was "In Stock" for online order and shipment. I took the time to personalize the order with fonts, embellishments, etc... I go to the final page about ready to put in my credit card number and it stated "This product is out of stock and will ship approximately 6/29/2016 (3 weeks away!) I need the item quicker than that so I go looking for another vase. DOn't tell me on page one that the item is in stock and tell my on page 4 that it isn't. Ugh! Off to order something else...
Good news - there is another vase I can order and my local Things Remembered has 2 left in stock. I don't have to wait for shipping. Personalize the order again. Put in my credit card. It will be done by 4:00 today. Yay! Until I get the email an hour later stating that they misjudged their quantity and the store is out of stock. Now my Debit card has a pending charge and is held as unavailable funds in my bank account for 5 days.
Watch those quantities and pick a store that has MANY MANY available (like 8) for the chance to get the item. Otherwise - go to the store and get the item yourself without the online site!

I ordered a bangle bracelet with one of the hearts engraved for my mother's birthday. I also ordered the heart shaped jewelry box, also with her name engraved on it. I ordered a little late for the shipping to be on time for her birthday so I decided to pick up in store (which was an hour away!) But thought it would be worth it because, if I do say so myself, they were pretty darn cute! After the hour drive... We got to the counter and the guy unwrapped it, held it in his hand and showed us the engravings, everything looked good. We made the trek home, and once there I decided to look closer at it. On the heart box it was scratched on the back, anddd the pin was missing out of the hinge where you open it. No wonder he kept it in his hand, we couldn't see that part. So I called customer service, they said they would send a new one, which they did, but if I wanted to return it, i'd have to drive that hour back to the store or pay for my own postage to send it through the mail because they dont pay for that! Okay, we're on strike #2.3 days after her wearing the bracelet, all of the "gold" wore off and now looks like a kids bracelet you can get out of a 25 cent machine at the bowling alley. Why did I pay $70 For something that cheap?! They look like a high-end place, but dont let it fool you. I will NEVER order from them again.
I was in the Meadows mall store last weekend 12/14/19 and I bought two Heart locket and a employee was trying to help me and they were busy and told to come back 4 hours later and one of the the Engraving was wrong and the manager was just rude very rude so I left and called the store I was told they didn't have anymore I would have to wait 10 days I said I'm so sorry I need this for my 12 year old granddaughter she has no Parent my son was killed by a drunk driver and I really need this she said it was all my Fault and they have it on camera but really I was getting help by a worker anyway she said I could buy something else I said no I bought this one and it needs to be special so on Monday I went to Henderson and the manager was there yelling that she ordered one and it would be 10 days And I could buy something else anyways I left and called customer service and the District manager said wherever she was at the time she had some right there that she would send it 48 hours I would have a new one that was 12/16/19 now it's 12/21/19 and I called the store and it's not there so there going to treat a little girl bad over Human error and not Follow through on their conversation it's to bad Thing to remember should be special not Evil there are other places to get nice thing With out harassment and lied to sorry if and when I get my Granddaughter heart locket I will never ever go back there agin Thx for nothing Xmas is 4 days away I really need this locket Susan Rigg *******945 If anyone from things to remember cares call me pls
I had ordered a baby blanket for my brand new niece who was born almost a month ago. I ordered the blanket from there store in National City, Ca on June 3rd. Lady told me 10 days so I was like ok 10 days no problem. I happened to be in the mall where the store was at and decided to stop by to see if maybe my order was ready but they just forgot to call me. Nope turns out they did the blanket without my niece's birthday day which I had clearly written on their order sheet clear as day. How in the heck do you do that! So the lady informed me as I was at the store that they had to send the blanket back so they could do the date on it and that the blanket would be in by Friday. I honestly think these people had no intention of calling me to tell me the situation. I feel like if I hadn't gone in today they would have never told me there was a delay yes by only a couple days but it would be good customer service to let the buyer know. Once I get the blanket I will no longer be doing business with them I will take my engraving services elsewhere
On 6/3 I ordered Champagne Flutes and a Server Set online, the next day I received an email stating my entire order is out of stock. No problem, I will check the stores. I found the set at the Orland Park location. I order the set for pick up. I then get an email from paypal stating I was charged for the Champagne Flutes I ordered online that was previously out of stock. I called customer service to find out what is going on, the rep told me they couldn't stop the shipment. She told me to refuse the package. I never received an email stating the item is in stock nor did I receive any shipping information. I called customer service today to find out the status of that order, when will it be shipped etc. The customer service rep was very rude, talking over me and gave quick short answers. I was told she would email me the tracking information I have yet to receive any tracking information. Oh let me not forget how rude the sale lady at the Orland store was when I called yesterday to find out how long will the store hold my package. I will not order anything else from Things Remember.
This company needs to learn the meaning of "Customer Service" and implement it from the Corporate Office to the store level. The cashier at the Westminster Mall store in California didn't want to return my 6 frames that I bought because she was by herself and there were 4 customers after me on a Friday later afternoon. I came back the next day and talked to the manager and she said she wouldn't return the frames at all. I called the Customer Service the next day and that lady said she would "leave it to the store level" on what to do. Another word, she didn't want any responsibilities and didn't want to get involved. Another word, she passed it on to someone else to take the hit.
The manager said she'll call the district manager and see what she wants to do. WTF! Nobody wants to do a return of 6 frames and nobody wants any responsibilities at this place? Real Customer Service. Never would I go into this Things Remembered again as long as I live!

First time ordering from from this website, ordered 3 items so spent a pretty penny, website gives me a time estimate of 4:30pm so I showed up early at 4pm was told it will be ready in 30 mins. Hung around the Columbiana mall till about 6 pm then went back there. There were 3 ladies in the line in front of me, times randi f from 3pm to 5:30pm, none of the orders done,,! The manager horrible customer service to each of the ladies. My turn comes around still not done, I. Fact they hadn't even printed one of the orders... I asked why they hadn't told me this 1.5 hr ago when I was in the store and how could I be charged on line if they can't provide the service, instead of any apology was told that I should have waited for a confirmation from them! Well how come I'm given a time per the order placed and also told would be ready in 30 mins to my face, I call this fraudulent. I spent 4 hrs waiting for this one product which they could have just for Ld me won't be ready, and the. Have the audacity to tell me its my fault and. Like I wait another hour... they treat the. Us timers like crap, never again...

I immediately called customer service and was told the order was still in process and that the call to me was made in error. This is the same message I saw on the web site when checking my order status. When I didn't receive the item on the 28th, I called again and was again told that the order was with the vendor and give it another week. Another week and no necklace. This time when I called I was rudely told that I was notified on 12/21 that the order had been cancelled. I went through the entire story again with a supervisor to no avail. The entire time this is happening, the item is still showing as "In Stock" online. When I brought this to the supervisor's attention, she stated that the website just needed to be updated. If you want a special gift for a special someone do NOT order from thingsremembered.com!"
