Not Disappointed

ISSUE RESOLVED!
I purchased an engraved ornament which was shipped in a timely manner. This was in memory of my son who passed away this year and was a gift for his 9-year old daughter. The ornament was nice. I would have been satisfied except that the box it was in was broken. This is a keepsake for my granddaughter to have for many years to come and it would have been nice to have a decent box to store the ornament. I emailed customer service and they offered to let me return it but this was not acceptable since I had already given it to my granddaughter to hang on the tree. It would have been cruel to take it from her.

Had the worst customer service experience. Things came mis-engraved with no speed of service to get us the item. We didnt have a gift to give a retired partner of 30 years at his retirement reception.

Memorial flag holder

I had my father's flag from Arlington framed with an engraved plaque at the Things Remembered at Trumbull Mall, CT. It was ready withing an hour of ordering and cheaper than anything else online.

Good Experience

I ordered the Guardian Angel Snowglobe w/engraving & photo. I couldn't be happier. The item looked even nicer in person and is very good quality. I am very pleased by the way it turned out. Shipping speed was okay, not terribly fast or terribly slow. It arrived by the date they said it would. No issues!

Terrible experience
October 19, 2016

My order was supposed to be ready on a Tuesday evening at 7:25 and we arrived and I was so excited to receive my daughters wedding flutes. They spelled the name wrong, so Rachel tells me it would be 1 hour, we came back at 8:25 she then tells me she just started it would be another 15 minutes! I waited, then she tells me she only has one done. I watched her help and make 4 items for three customers then at 9:10 I interrupted her with a customer and said please how much longer I need to go. She finally gives me my flutes and then started to walk away saying "let me get you a bag" I told her please no let me go please. I left the store only to find I was locked out of dillards (we're I parked) now I had to walk all around the mall to leave. I call cooperate the next morning only to find the same inconsistency as the store placed on hold, hung up on four times, transferred 6 times. Never getting this resolved! I will never shop at this store again. Please don't shop here

We ordered a bracelet for our nana that was to be delivered before Christmas by December 21st. Instead on December 22nd we received a bracelet for a poor boy or man named Brett who also will not be getting a Christmas gift. It is December 26th and still no gift has been delivered. I was told that to get a refund I first have to return Brett's bracelet. We ordered all of our other engraved gifts form personalization.com and suggest you do the same. If you are Brett's family I am very sorry. I hope he had other gifts to open

I walked in to the store I asked are you guys busy today will it be a long wait just to get a keychain that I purchased from the store engraved. She stated oh no not at all. So I puchase what I wanted wick was my sons same and I love you dad after I paid she tells me it will be couple of hours that turned into when the mall was closing and I got there at 2. And each time I walked by they was all just standing around. A waste of my day but it's my fault should have just went to the other stand in the mall

Never received item
December 26, 2017

I placed an order online and received an email with the delivery date. That day came and i never received my item so i called customer service. They then told me that my order was canceled due to my item being no longer available and that i should have received an email with this information, which i never did. The guy i spoke with was very nice and helpful. He stated we could get a new a better item ordered for the same price i paid before and that he would expedite the order so i would have it by christmas. Well the day he told me it would be delivered came and i still had no order. So i call customer service again and the lady i spoke with was very rude and stated the guy had never placed the order or noted anything in the account. So now christmas is past and i still have no beer mug that i ordered. At this point i will never order from them again and will start using a different company.

At La Palmera Mall, Corpus Christi, TX. The item I wanted was not on the shelf. All clerks standing around gabbing. One finally acknowledged me at the counter, said they had some in the back, but were "too busy " to get one for me. Three days before Christmas, disgraceful! The ones who havej obs dont want to work, others cant buy a job. What's wrong with employers these days?

I ordered a wine glass with engraving on Wed 7pm, paid for expedited delivery ($25) so I would get it Monday to give it to my coworker who is leaving. No updates on my order until Saturday morning when I got an email saying they have an issue with the engraving. After I called back and resolved it, they still didn't ship the order till Monday! And they didn't send it overnight. Now my coworker is leaving and I won't be able to give her the gift.

WORST service!
July 17, 2018

This was the worst customer services experience. I couldn't place the order online so I had to call, then they said it was on backorder. I still ordered the gift and it ended up on backorder again without them telling me and they just cancelled the order! Even thought I received an email saying - DO NOT REPLY if you want to move forward with the delivery. I had to call and get the order placed again! (this gift is now is almost 2 months late). Now I get another email saying there is another issue- so I call and they say they have only 1 font for this when they confirmed on 3 different calls the script writing I ordered. Plus horrible over customer service all around. Gift is still not delivered.

Terrible Customer Service
December 20, 2018

I ordered something online Nov 25, supposed to be delivered Dec 13th. I tried several times to call after the 13th to inquire about my order and emailed customer service. Finally I got them on the phone Dec 20 only to be told my item wouldn't be ready for weeks to come. Clearly not communicated to be at any point in time. Then told it would take 5-7 days from the 20th to process my refund. Terrible business practices and customer service was absolutely no help.

Awful experience
December 23, 2018

Purchased an ornament with engraving on Dec. 11th and was supposed to receive it on Dec. 20th. It never came. When I called this morning, the representative said the order was cancelled because it was out of stock. No notification was ever sent to me and now there is nothing I can do to replace this gift. The rep on the phone showed a complete lack of empathy and offered no solutions.

Lousy customer service
September 19, 2017

I placed an keychain order online for pickup at the store in Scranton, PA. I received an email from the store that night sayong they were out of stock and to call an 800 number for help. Before I called the next day, I checked my credit card and saw not one, but 2 charges for the key chain and no credits. I called the 800 number and the rep was very short with me. She insisted that my order had been cancelled and that if my card was charged, it must have been the stores mistake. So I called the store, and Debbie just about bit my head off, insisting that stores don't charge cards for online sales. My only recourse was to call my credit card to dispute both charges. No personalized key chain for.my son's birthday, but I'm out $74 and 2 hours of my life until this is resolved. This company won't be around for. Much longer - BUYER BEWARE!

Manchester store service

The have the worst service that I have ever had too deal with. Your t rated bye the staff depends on what you buy. The Dnt call you to let you know that your order is completed. Waste of money and time. There over priced crap and there over priced w there ingraving. Just a total rip off

I ordered a necklace on Cyber Monday 11/30 for my mother in law for her birthday of 12/20, well delivery date was 12/14 so I thought i would be ok, but was not! The necklace never made it for her birthday customer care told me that they would be here 12/22 so I thought. Ok a Christmas gift. Well it's the 24th and the necklace is not here and i called and they told me it's "out of stock" from the 3rd party company that they use. So disappointing! Will never order again!

I purchased a bride wine glass for a coworker for her wedding, I paid extra for gift wrapping and it was not gift wrapped. I even wrote a message and did not receive that either. Disappointed. The wine glass itself and engraving is nice though.

Called the Manager to let her know that something was left off the engravement that she clearly told me was going to be on there. She was very rude & said thay did not charge me for it. I said ok how much is it. I was willing to pay for what she left off, but, now she doesn't want to do it over to make the correction. What ever happened to the customer is right. Very poor Customer Service. I will not buy anything else from Things Remembered.
