This company is horrible. I will never order anything from them again, and I suggest you go elsewhere if you're thinking about using them.

That daily deal TERRIBLE HAT!
May 26, 2021

NEVER BUY JUNK FROM "THAT DAILY DEAL!"
Unlike some people, I did receive my vented sun hat that I ordered.
BUT IT IS THE WORST HAT I HAVE EVER SEEN!
The floppy brim is flimsy and ugly.
The mesh used around it for venting is like a bad fishing net.
And it fits like a big oversized bowl with no substance around the rim.
BUT THESE CON ARTISTS DO NOT ALLOW RETURNS IF YOU AREN'T SATISFIED! You can only return defective items.
Their daily emails have been marked for the spam folder from now on.

First of all, please stop telling people to stop buying from somewhere just because you have a disgruntle. I'll shop where I please, no matter what your opinion is, thank you. Please just state your grievance and give details.

Have you ever thought to watch this guy's videos, which he links you to via YouTube from his sake items when/if he puts out a video? He's 100% legitimate! To my understanding, he's a small time seller with a small operation who buys closeout items in quantity then sells on his website.

He's not Amazon, eBay, or any of those huge operations, so no, you won't get the same service, and why should he be that way? He's more like a "professional garage sale" for closeout items. What you buy, you keep unless it's defective. Website states such.

Most items take 4-6 weeks to arrive to you, but if you aren't taking advantage of a free shipping deal, you're getting a reduced shipping deal. I can link my order items as coming from Pitney Bowes. Those are trackable but might be in the electronic stage for a while, which means it'll show under your online tracking at some point.

If you check out as a guest you might want to think about creating an account to log in and check on status. Seller doesn't keep you in the dark!

I don't like everything he sells but what I think I might like, I google said item and try to get a better understanding via other websites to what that item in question truly is for me.

A good rule of thumb, if you want something fast, see if you can pay for fast shipping. Otherwise, it's probably going to be at least 4 weeks, if not 5 or 6. Keep in mind He's a deal site: a close out site. You want Amazon, then shop there.

I've shopped with this seller for over ten years. I rarely purchase a lot at once because I'm a senior citizen on a pension so am limited on my spending allowance, and I adhere to my own rules there.

Nothing I've ever purchased was "crap" or junk, or did not work. Sometimes an item was too cheaply made to last long, but one can always figure it out w 10 mins of online research. Don't be stupid. Just do without if in doubt. Seller's stuff is hardly different than shopping at Big Lots, and at times, nicer. Why do you buy from this guy if you just want to complain he's ripping you off? Find your order number, your bank draft/credit card transaction, dates, etc., and handle it accordingly if you believe there's a problem. And also think that he's a small business owner, so emails likely are not addressed 10 mins after you send them, or holidays & evenings. Go read his website about what to do and how to contact him, and be fair! I've written them a couple times and hear back within a week. My experience shows him to be a good guy.

I've always found him to be pleasant, honest and easy to deal with.

No qualify control; poor customer service.

This was my first AND LAST time ordering from them. Got a good price on 3 hats (or so I thought). They arrived in an envelope with no protective covering. One of the hats has oil-based stains on the front brim. I emailed customer support for a replacement only to be told I have options which are: 1. Receive 50% refund; 2. Return for a replacement (but I would have to pay shipping both ways (to send back the damaged one and receive the replacement)); or 3. Store credit (to purchase more defective/damaged items). They cannot pay for return label because the hat is "not defective." Oil stains don't qualify as defective or damaged? Seriously?

Really, who wants to walk around with stained attire? Not me!

Scam, they never ship the item. They make a fake usps label and pretend to send it but never actually do. Customer service will give you the run around saying the same things over and over. No way to get a refund. Do not buy from this scam website.

This company uses "shipping partners" for logistics, who promptly lost or failed to ship the order, once again a shipping partner they hired to handle the shipping. From 4/9 to 5/6 the item has failed to make it to the nearest UPS shipping center. Asked for a refund but that will not happen. Typical "out of our hands" response. No professional or personal ethics, no business model to help customers and no business sense. Once they have your $$ they are done with you. When people wonder why so many small companies fail they need look no farther than this outfit.

Wow. Had an okay-ish experience with this company until today. I realized they never credited me for a no-touch thermometer I paid far too much for during the height of COVID last summer. I never received a response due to COVID-related issues. Anyway was tracking a neck-pillow of all things, showed delivered, but I never got it. Keisha told me I received it. I told her I didn't. She told me I DID and gave me the tracking info. I told her I had spent hundreds of dollars on the site, and if I wanted to lie about a purchase to swinddle the company, it wouldn't be over a 10 dollar pillow. She sent me the delivery confirmation screen and AGAIN said I got the merchandise. I said I was insulted at that point... then she told me I had to research the issue on my own. I told her I already did and that's why I contacted them! She pulled some citation from the contract and said its my responsibility if I don't receive the product.
I don't trust this company any longer... its taken MONTHS sometimes to receive merchandise where it used to take days... Im talking about DURING coronavirus times... theyre crooked now imho and they'll never see a red cent of mine again.
Shame on you. This pillow was for my FIL undergoing radiation for lung cancer who just tested COVID UK variant positive. Trash trash company. May you ROT

A decade of experience
February 4, 2021

I have used "that daily deal" and their affiliated sites such as "13deals.com" since around 2008-2009ish, and have purchased dozens of items from these sites. While with careful searching you might be able to find the same items for a lower price somewhere (even on Amazon or EBay), however the prices here are never bad, and they often have close out, overstocked or discontinued items at very good prices. As with anything you are buying sight unseen and where there are no buyer/user reviews (but if you are diligent you can often find reviews for products on other sites), quality can occasionally be a crapshoot (and of course, descriptions are always glowing).
Unlike some have claimed, I have never had a problem getting a refund from customer service (returns are seldom needed if not abused). Fulfillment can be very slow (4-6 weeks occasionally), but tracking orders is easy on the site; orders which can ship immediately are noted. When I find a great deal, I often will buy 5-6 of something for gifts, and one of my favorite things (since I lose them frequently) are their 8 packs of "cheap sunglasses" (often Common drug store brands, and the Hanes Or Gilman T-Shirt 6-8 packs at $3 or so per shirt.

As I said, I've used these folks for more than a decade, and unlike Wish and a few other online sites my experiences have been mostly positive, but they haven't failed to fix problems- I have recommended the site and shared deals with my best friends and family, so I have no problem doing so here.

I placed an order for a deal involving MRE's. I spent 108 dollars. The order confirmation came with a "COVID Disclaimer" warning about unusually long wait times., which makes sense when ordering a survival item during a pandemic. I never received my package, so i waited longer thinking the delays were from Covid, but they werent. They just never sent my items. When i reached out months later, they said there was nothing they could do, that I WAITED TOO LONG TO REACH OUT FOR MY PACKAGE! No package, no refund, no redelivery. Just a person named Makayla telling me that i should of checked on things sooner. WARNING after researching, 2020 saw the rise of many 'online ordering services' DO NOT TRUST THEM, a large majority of them are simply scammers taking advantage of a world wide pandemic. Go to Costco order from Amazon, but DO NOT USE "That Daily Deal"

Didn't receive my dumb bells
January 5, 2021

I've emailed them three times and no response on where my dumbells are. At first covid was the reason for the delay which is understandable. And 5 to 7 weeks was the eta. Its now been 3.5 months and no delivery. Will continue to pursue this with BBB if I don't get them soon. Smh

BUYER BEWARE
December 17, 2020

BUYER BEWARE! Socks arrived & were clearly defective/damaged (loose threads, material shredding, falling apart). Instead of backing their return policy & sending me a return label, customer service offered me a $5 coupon to buy more trash from them. After I refused, they suggested I cut off the threads because this is normal. WHAT!?! I'm not sure where they shop but I've never bought socks to then cut off loose threads. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau & their response was the socks aren't damaged. SERIOUSLY!?! Anyway, my credit card company couldn't believe they refused to refund my money & immediately approved my transaction dispute after seeing the pictures! They are owned by Jammin' Butter and operate under a lot of other business names so be careful!

That Daily Deal is a scam
November 20, 2020

Unfortunately I got caught up in their "good prices". After my first order with them and never receiving the order, I contacted them and I received the same message: "Once this item has shipped, we cannot give a refund" I waited six weeks. Then I saw other reviews. I have never received any of my 3 orders--six, four, and two weeks out. They blame COVID. Stay away.

I placed my order for ten bags of chocolate dipped Hershey pretzels on 10/16, expecting to have them in time for Halloween. My order arrived on 11/18 - still, I figured it would make a nice Christmas gift but then I notice that the expiration date on both boxes (ten bags) is November 2020. Well, we're more than halfway through November of 2020 so I do not wish to consume these and cannot gift them a month later for Christmas. Now, they updated their listing since people started to complain to include the "best if used by date" which I can promise (110%) was NOT listed at the time of purchase. They're a bunch of scam artists and refuse to accept my return and issue a refund for their expired food.

They are a crap company.!
November 16, 2020

Order a box of masks and they never shio it but they kept the money. Congratulations you screwed an old guy out of $25.00. The tracking number says that it never shipped. Tracking number are good for 24 months per the postal service. So they are lying when they said the tracking number expired. Again a crap company. If you have an issue with them they won't make it right. Don't do business with a company like them.
