The bottle has no expiration date. Manufaacture date shows almost 3 years old.
Tried to call and ask to product manager by phone but wait more than 7 minutes and no way to leave my message.
This is by far the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. I placed an order, then the following day they emailed me demanding documentation with my credit card details, full name & address to prove that I wasn't committing credit card fraud! I provided the details, then was advised that what I provided wasn't sufficient so they then demanded a copy of my credit card statement. I emailed them the documentation that was requested & they assured me that my order had been progressed. 24hrs later, the order status was still "on hold" so I again contacted them only to be again assured that my order had been progressed. 24hrs after that, the order was still on hold, so again I contacted them. On this occasion, I was advised that there was an issue with my order as they had lost the email with my private verification details which included my credit card #, full name & address. How utterly incompetent & shady! This company is only concerned with covering themselves at the expense of their customers. They literally wasted several hours of my time for nothing. I've never had a single problem with iherb or vitacost & they have the decency to offer international customers the safe & secure option of paypal. If i'd read Swanson's appalling reviews earlier, I would have run for the hills!
Ordered via express shipping as needed some of these items ASAP. Three days later received nothing, and I mean nothing, including tracking details or any email correspondence. I had a "processing" indication when logged into the swansons website, so I kept being patient.
Spoke to swansons "customer service" and apparently they sent an email for order confirmation when order was placed, complete rubbish as received NOTHING.
So they do NOT warn you in anyway that there is an issue with the order, YOU need to contact them instead - Wonderful "customer service"
Then they want you to travel to "your bank" and ask for some transaction number? Never have I had this experience with any other retailer.

I ordered a probiotic from Swanson on March 19. I paid $4.99 for regular shipping. I got a message on March 21 saying that my package was out to be shipped. I live in CT and the package was coming from PA. I checked the tracking daily and it did not change. There was no tracking record for it. I called Swanson on March 24 to let them know and they did not seem to care. She told me to call back on Monday and that it can take up to 8 days. I was not too happy with that response. I did call back today March 29 and sent them a message as well. I said that I would like my package either sent Next Day Air or cancel my order. She said that if she sent it next day delivery she would have to charge me the shipping fees. She also said that if I should get the package in the meantime, to call them so I can either send it back or they can charge me for it! I told her to cancel the order. I have been a faithful and loyal customer for quite a few years with Swanson. I've spent hundreds of dollars at Swanson. I don't think that this was the way to treat a customer. I decided that I am not going to use them ever again - just because of the way it was it handled. I since went to Amazon, ordered my product, and it is out for delivery and I should get it tomorrow. It was free shipping and the product was cheaper than Swanson's price. I am actually getting more for my money. Sorry Swanson... you lost a loyal customer!
I had been a long-time Swanson customer. I placed an order 11 days ago and still didn't get it. I called after 10 days, when I saw on the tracking that the order had reached the next town over from me 5 days prior. I was promised I'd get the order by 9 p.m. that night. I did not. They had held my order for 4 business days, claiming that one item was in a different warehouse. I asked why they couldn't notify me. No response. I asked why they couldn't ship the rest of the order, which they've done before. No response. They said they'd ship a replacement and I'd get it in a few days. I insisted they overnight it. At first they didn't want to do that. Eventually they agreed. Then they told me the item that held up the order the first time would be held from the rest of the shipping and again it would be 4 business days before that would ship. They refused to budge on that so I asked that I be refunded for that item. I ended up ordering it elsewhere. They do have good products at good prices, but what does that matter if you don't get what you ordered -- and paid for?

I used to buy regularly from Swanson until I discovered them advertising in a neo-Nazi blog, Breitbart News. I've asked them repeatedly to withdrawal their advertising, but they refuse.

KNOWING THE SIZE AND POPULARITY OF THIS BRAND REMAINS ONLY ONE QUESTION: HOW MANY MILLIONS OF CAPSULES ARE THE NON SUSPECTING CUSTOMERS SHORT AND WHAT KIND OF PROFIT GENERATES TO SWANSON? MUST BE QUITE A LOT.

Called to place order asked sales person that answered the call to personlly make sure the product in was interested had a specific Vitamin D3.
After 2 minuter on hold the sales person came back on the line and told me it did. I ordered the product.
When I received the product id had the wrong D3. When I call to verify if Swansons had the correct product in stock the sales person told me they only carry the product that i received and told me how to return the product.
I checked with the manufactor of the product and was informed that no longer make the formula I was looking for. It has been three weeks since I returned the wrong product and Swanson is still offering a product that is no longer available.
If they cannot correct what they offer how many of the products they offer are out of date or show the wrong product information. DO YOU TRUST THEM I DONT

I sent in an order for 4 items, pre paid with my credit card, for a total of $34.95. One of the items shipped separately from a warehouse, so, Swanson charged my credit card for 3 items, totaling $20.46. The $13.99 for the remaining item, was included in the $34.95 original payment. My credit card shows a pending charge for $34.95, waiting for the rest of the order, now swanson is trying to bill me the $13.99, on top of the original $34.95, when it is already included in the original payment. My husband called them, and after MUCH explaining about a simple matter, we were informed that they would do NOTHING! That it is up to us to fix the mistake THEY made with my credit card! WHAT! I have been doing business with Swanson's for years, it pains me to have to do this, I thought so much more of them than this, like I said... they screwed up my credit card, and in as much as told me to get lost, it is my responsibility to correct their mistake... SHAME ON YOU SWANSON'S for treating a long time customer this way... VERY SHABBY!
NEVER AGAIN! I joke wasted at least 4 hours of my own time trying to get this order straightened out between PayPal and swansons... Swansons claimed I did not pay for my order... Yet they shipped it and I recieved it? Make any sense? Nope! So they kept calling and emailing me asking me to pay for it... I contacted PayPal they said they recieved the money and even did a 3 way with me them and PayPal 2 times... The lady at PayPal gave up and just filed a dispute with them... 2 days later I get a lame email saying

Most of their products contain GMO corn. Anytime they can use it as a filler they put iit in.Don't use any of their products if you're trying to get healthy.
I placed my last order Oct 2021. My order totaled 142.10. The shipment was in 3 parts. I received the first 2. I called customer service to inquire on the missing products, they informed me that my order was on back order. I asked that they cancel those items as I would be getting them from another supplier. I received an email the following month asking me to pay 22.14 for the items that were on backorder and that my payment was declined. Keep in mind that my authorization was for 142.10 which included all items including the backorder items. Why are you asking me to pay items that were never shipped? My back authorized only the items I received, which was $119.96. They attempted to process the back ordered items after the authorization expired. Fast forward to the present day. I placed a new order on May 3, and the cancelled it. I called to ask why and they told that I had a balance owed of 22.14 for the 2 items that were never shipped to me. They said to resolve this issue, I would pay 22.14 to clear my debt and they would send out my items or they could refund me. Huh? People get a grip. I've been a long time customer. You can keep me blocked, restricted or whatever. So long Swanson. You have seen the last of me.
I too am having trouble with Swanson Vitamins. The larger the order you make, the longer it will take them to ship it out. Having spent tens of thousands of dollars and continually been shafted by this organisation, I'll be going to back to iherb.com.
I can make an order with iherb a week later than Swanson and it will still get to Australia days faster. I really thought everything would change with Swanson when they started offering faster international shipping couriers such as UPS (which I use with iherb) but it is all useless when they take forever to even bother to ship your items.
It is a ridiculous business model that when a customer spends more, they are penalised with excessively long shipping times compared to those who make small orders and get them quickly.
I used to order every 1-2 weeks, but orders would not leave the US for at least a week. Communication was slow and unsatisfactory. They would claim that they had sent emails (a lie) to me about my order and why it was delayed. Their main problem is that they claim to have items in stock when they don't. If you wish to make an order, make sure you immediately check that none of your items are backordered otherwise they will hold your order until they have them and not tell you about it. I never received emails such as order confirmations, when orders have shipped, etc like you would expect from other organisation when shopping online.

I have been searching to know if they source from China (which would be the deal breaker) when I discovered these reviews. I have found them very affordable and the product quality seems fine.

First, The Credit card address (But all the time same) Second, The Shipping address is supposed to same. Third, Not allow resale so only we can order 5 bottles. Fourth, Out of Stock (Cannot sell this product) = Only allow to order "Swanson's product" = Cannot cancel (If we need a refund after receive and returning) Finally, i can discount some of Swanson's Products.
