Stay away! This payment processor not only allows fraudsters - it encourages them. It will be weeks before Stripe will tell you there is a problem, long after you've dutifully handled an order so that you not only lose the entire value of the transaction and the stock fulfilling the order, but also you will be slugged with an additional fee for the transaction being declared fraudulent.

This fee would be acceptable if Stripe had made efforts to prevent such a transaction taking place originally - but their fraud detection is nonexistent. They claim they have something called 'Radar' to help fight fraud, but they can't even check a postal address in their system.

Furthermore, you can't ring them either. Don't waste valuable money with these people - they will rip you off.

I too am having trouble with Swanson Vitamins. The larger the order you make, the longer it will take them to ship it out. Having spent tens of thousands of dollars and continually been shafted by this organisation, I'll be going to back to iherb.com.

I can make an order with iherb a week later than Swanson and it will still get to Australia days faster. I really thought everything would change with Swanson when they started offering faster international shipping couriers such as UPS (which I use with iherb) but it is all useless when they take forever to even bother to ship your items.

It is a ridiculous business model that when a customer spends more, they are penalised with excessively long shipping times compared to those who make small orders and get them quickly.

I used to order every 1-2 weeks, but orders would not leave the US for at least a week. Communication was slow and unsatisfactory. They would claim that they had sent emails (a lie) to me about my order and why it was delayed. Their main problem is that they claim to have items in stock when they don't. If you wish to make an order, make sure you immediately check that none of your items are backordered otherwise they will hold your order until they have them and not tell you about it. I never received emails such as order confirmations, when orders have shipped, etc like you would expect from other organisation when shopping online.
