Platform for Fraud
December 2, 2015

StubHub used personal information to make a fraudulent purchase then to obtain the cash canceled the transaction and requesting a refund, which was caught at Wells Fargo.
Contact with StubHub was full of misdirects and unknowns, no customer support or concern about the hundreds that where stolen thru their company.
Wells will reimburse my funds, but warning to all that provide StubHub with personal and financial information that it will not be safe or will they support against the fraud that happens from within its organization.

Stub Hub sucks!

Had tickets to Music Man bought year in advance Stub Hub canceled our tickets six different times and notified in email. One set wouldn't let us into the doors. They were invalid. Called 800 number at the door. They were dumb founded. They miraculously got the barcode switched on the e ticket and we got in five minutes before show started. Called to complain after trip and they wanted to argue and say it was my fault. They had to change the barcode five minutes before show to let us in. Total bs. Shady, unorganized company.

Took me 3-days to get through the system. It kept stalling, and when checking out, it also stalled so I would have to go through the whole process again. When finally I was able to purchase my tickets to Allen Jackson at Fiddlers Green, the ticket that were $113.12 each cost me $552.98 for 4-tikets due to their fees. That is $100.50 in fees, for what? Really, that is REDICULOUS! Then it took me another 2-days to be able to print the tickets. Hopefully they work when we go to the concert.
I will NEVER use Stubhub again. To do all the work my self, waste days trying to find the seats, process etc... and then the added fees... No Thank You!

Displeasing

After posting tickets on this website for re-sale and then having them cancelled, stub hub were incredibly quick to charge me 25% of my ticket price which was a large amount, with no confirmation or notice

Do you need to buy last minute concert tickets? Scared of scalpers? Don't want to deal with ebay and craigslist scams? Stubhub is where I buy all of my concert tickets when I need to do it at the last minute or when ticketmaster and places like that are sold out. Stubhub is reliable and fast... they even will email you the ticket if it is at the last minute.

Horrible experience
August 18, 2016

Horrible experience, flew from Atlanta to Boston to see the Red Sox Yankee game. I was turned away, seats were already being used, 45 minutes standing on the corner at Yorkey way on the phone with StubHub. I was finally able to get into the game But I will never use your service again. A-Rod last game at Fenway owner must've decided to go to the game and screwed us over. Buy your tickets from the venue you're attending at least you know you'll have your seats.

When I bought 3 tickets to a musical, I didn't realize I was charged $145.80 as a service fee and $5.95 for shipping when nothing was shipped. I called to complain and they said they realize they are "expensive" but couldn't refund. I also tried to contest this overage on my charge card and was told the same thing! I've never paid more than $15 each for the same service and also, because nothing was shipped, they owe me $106! I will never order from them again.

Really Impressed

Really impressed with the customer service of stub hub, I ordered concert tickets about a week before the event and when UPS lost them in the mail, stub hub credited my account so that I could immediately purchase another set of tickets for instant download. Thanks StubHub!

I'd give 0 if I could. After posting my ticket online, I sold it in person. This company does not make it easy to figure out how to ticket your ticket off of it so while, I'm at work yesterday (where I sold my ticket and where I'm not allowed to use my phone) someone bought my ticket. The reason I sold this ticket was to get money to put towards my hospital bills for a surgery I recently had to get. Now half the money I sold the ticket for in person goes to this multimillion dollar company while I have to sit here and eat the cost while I max out another credit card because this company doesn't make their website easy for consumers. I will never buy or sell tickets from this company, and I will make sure that everyone in my friend groups understands how unsimpithetic they are.

Ugh!

Okay so on 9/10/16 we brought 5 tickets for section 102 on the Texans sideline FOR $1100+ For the TEXANS GAME and we had to pick them up on 9/11/16. We pick them up head to the gate go through security. When it was time to scan it kept saying refunded. We had to go to the box office and they gave us new tickets yaaaayyy but no we go seat in section 339 on the visitors side I want my money back! I will never buy from them and it was happening to people who use groupon, ticket master, and another site. Never using this site again... I thought this site was legitimate but it's more fraud than Dr.Oz.

StuHub Fan Guarantee is a joke!
June 26, 2023

I was sold event parking for the Taylor Swift concert in Minneapolis, however when I left the concert the garage would not let me exit without paying additional money. The seller knowingly sold me "event parking" for that named event that timed out before the concert was scheduled to end, thus not a valid ticket. When I reached out to StubHub they basically told me they couldn't guarantee the closing time of the garage and thus would not honor their Fan Guarantee. What a bunch of crooks. Basically buyer beware. You may not get what your paying for and StubHubs guarantee is worthless!

Horrible first time experience! I bought tickets as a holiday gift. When I printed the tickets they had a barcode but were blank. I called right away and was assured everything was fine. After driving close to 2 hours, we were declined at the door. They wouldn't accept them because they were blank. For over 20 minutes, I was on hold trying to speak to someone. I sent 2 emails with no response. The show was about to start so I had to spend over triple on tickets. I called today and the representative was unfriendly and not understanding. I finally was able to get a refund. I wanted them to cover the cost of the tickets or the difference. The offered me a 10% off coupon for next time. No next time!
The situation was stressful. Horrible company. Do not buy!

I have never chased a cooperation around for a refund before in my life! This company is the worst! I bought tickets for EDC in 2020. The event was canceled due to Covid. I was advised that I would receive a refund. It's damn near 2022 and I'm still waiting. They've blamed USPS. They've blamed UPS. Their customer service agents are as knowledgeable as the supervisors. Scary to think that a supervisor is less competent than the lowest person on the totem pole. They've blown smoke up my $#*! every time we've spoken. We've spoken 7 times in 3 months! Take a chance with a scalper on the street. Guaranteed the customer service is better and the prices!

Don`t ever use StubHub
September 25, 2019

Last weekend I purchased tickets for a football event in London UK (Arsenal-Aston Villa).
We where a group of 5 that was flying over from Oslo Norway. When arriving at the hotel,
No tickets had arrived. We where tracking the shipment, and saw that the tickets where in
London (2 different shipments), however nothing was delivered. The hotel reception was kind enough to provide me with a phone number for StubHub UK. After a number of attempts we finally got through to the office. We where then told that both shipments was
Returned to sender because UPS could not find the Hotel? The final result was that we got no refunding or replacement tickets. 600 GBP thrown out of the window.
This is by fare the worst experience from any purchase in my life!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

My wife bought tickets off their site. It wasn't disclosed that they were student tickets - so we called to complain. They were rude and said the buyer disclosed that - but we didn't find that out until the email confirmation of the purchase. Nowhere on this site does it show this that we could tell.

Executive Customer Service made things right

Executive customer service contacted me and apologized for the customer service and even had a recording of my screen when the website malfunctioned. I was told it was something they're working on currently and that it should have been explained better than it was. I was refunded the difference of what I originally had my tickets posted for. He recognized how long I had been using the site and said he didn't want to lose me as a customer. They were able to make it right and I will probably continue to use StubHub.

I've been buying and selling tickets for years through StubHub and I've never had any issues. That's the thing, it's a great site, until you have an issue and have to contact customer service. I had two tickets posted for sale and the day of the event I wanted to see how low I could drop the price in order to break even. After typing that into the box, I clicked back on the page, never saving that price. Ten minutes later I receive an email saying my tickets sold and that my payout was for much less than what I had them posted for. They sold for the price that I never saved. After contacting customer service, I was told that "the prices change whether you click save or not." When I asked why there was a save button if the price saves either way, I got nothing but attitude from them. There were several excuses, none of them making sense as to why that price would save without clicking save and no confirmation.

So just know that no matter what price you type in, the tickets could possibly sell for that much, according to their logic. It's very misleading and never says that whatever price you type in, is the live price no matter what. Even if you don't click save.

Never in my life have I dealt with such awful customer service. I will never use StubHub again.

UPDATE

Just spoke with customer service again. This person is telling me the exact opposite of what the previous person told me. She said that you have to click save in order to change the price. I have a screen capture of the price changing to something you didn't type in after you refresh the page. The inconsistencies on this site are ripping people off. We booked Justine bieber concert ticket in 2022 June. The show was cancelled bcz of his health issues. This company is a fraud. They never gave us our ticket or a refund after the show was cancelled.
Don't ever book the tickets on StubHub bcz it's a scam my $2000 ticket is stuck for a year now.

I have been forced to sell my Red Sox season tickets via Stubhub as they are the sole agent for MLB. The system has been problematic from the start. It has not accepted edits. It dumps the tickets back to me if they are not sold 24 hours before the game, which precludes someone buying the tickets at the last minute. I suspect that this is so that the Red Sox will sell any remaining tickets for that game. Today, I tried to enter the barcodes for the tickets that I had sold for tomorrow's game with the Tigers. The system would not accept them. To the extent possible I never want to deal with Stubhub again, and I am going to cancel my season tickets to the Red Sox for next season.
