For the idea of last minute tickets this site is good, but I've recently had some problems when buying Phillies tickets last fall when they over charged me then gave me different tickets with horrible seating and after I had received them I called up and said these aren't my tickets. So then they said that my tickets had already been sold. They would not give me a refund and they basically told me that I'm sh*t out of luck and to take it or leave it. After that they stopped responding to my emails and phone calls. To save face I was able to get my credit card to reverse the charges (thank God) which took a while but eventually came through. I used to really like this site but after that experience never again.

Avoid it!

PLEASE, DO NOT USE IT!

I bought a pair of tickets two days before the concert (not cheap) with debit card, I saw the order confirmation and it was charged from my account immediately. As I didn't receive an email, logged back to print the order details. There were no order.
Wait until the next day, same status, called the customer service and spoke with few (very) rude people that said the purchase didn't go through and the bank never paid them, that it was a temporary hold from the bank, called the bank and it says the payment went through... opened a complaint on both bank and StubHub and it takes 5-10 days for the refund, the rude people I spoke with called me a liar; saying I didn't see any confirmation, blamed the bank for charging for the product I BOUGHT, and did not apologize at any point for they wrong doing.
I am so angry that now I have no ticket or money to buy new ones (500$!).

Bought Kellie Pickler tickets. Paid $269.40 for 2. Stated main floor, row cc. Printed tickets, got to amphitheatre, and tickets were on VERY BACK ROW. Venue was very sympathetic, since we were way overcharged, and allowed us to move much closer to front. Person beside us there said he paid $50 per ticket! Boy, did we get screwed!

SELLER BEWARE!

Tickets delivered promptly, in perfect condition and buyer stated they were torn, which was not true when they were put in the overnight envelope. No notification from stubhub informing me of this and over a week later they charged back the purchase price of the tickets and a fee for their trouble. The tickets were replaced by the original promoter for free at the venue on day of show and stubhub wasn't out any money at all. In fact, they received the full amount I sold the tickets for plus the extra fee they charged me for their trouble. Total scam. I received nothing and the buyer received full benefit of the tickets. When I disputed the charge Stubhub blocked me from my account and I am still dealing with this mess with credit card company. I will never buy or sell tickets with them again.

Don't buy from StubHub!
December 10, 2021

I purchased very expensive tickets for a Chris Stapleton concert. I live in Nevada, flew to Nashville, had a hotel and the day of the concert (October 2nd) he "postponed" the concert to December 10th. I knew I couldn't fly back (I have a party that night!) despite the cost of travel to return for the new date. I called Stub Hub and they told me to list the tickets, which I did. Then I lowered the cost twice so I was going to be out big time. They never sold! $953.53 gone! I'm sick to my stomach and will NEVER buy from them again. Ever!

Tried to list tickets to a musical. The response was "the listing is under review." I called and was told I would get an answer in 24 hours. Unfortunately, the musical was in 48 hours. The lady on the phone told me no one could look at my listing. As such, I could not relist with another agency - NO CLUE WHAT "IN LIMBO IS." This is unacceptable.

BEWARE! If you make a mistake listing tickets on Stubhub and you try and fix it immediately after realizing you made a mistake in the delivery Method you will be charged 40% of the sale price even if the customer still receives a replacement ticket that they are still paying full price for. Their customer service will not only not help you but will tell you that they will resolve the issue without letting you know that resolving it means charging you 40%

I recently purchased tickets to a concert that was sold out through Stub Hub and did so about a month before the event, so it wasn't last minute. We then booked accommodation as we believed we were going to receive tickets. To my shock, 3 days before the event I received an email saying the seller was not going to be able to provide the tickets... luckily I was able to cancel the accommodation as I had taken an option with cancellation, but I could not believe that they would have a process in place that does not secure the tickets earlier. By the time we received the email there were no other options to purchase tickets so we were not able to attend.

They scam both buyer and seller just to benefit themselves. It's an horrendous platform, where the violation fees are only used to benefit themselves and not the buyer or the seller.

I was unable to log into my email address to receive the authentication code and have now spent a total of 7 hours on the phone trying to get my tickets. When we FINALLY spoke to someone that could help us, they sent us the tickets through another email address. When we got to the stadium, the tickets came back as invalid so we had to go to will call to straighten it out. On the phone again with Stubhub and they said to buy additional tickets and they would be reimbursed. Finally got into the game in the 5th inning, took 2 weeks for a refund on my original tickets and they said they would never reimburse for the second set. HORRIBLE experience. I would never trust StubHub again

I contacted StubHub about an event that I purchased tickets for from their site. Unfortunately the tickets were never transferred to my email account or StubHub account, and I missed the event (the tickets were purchased months in advance, and I was partially to blame for not remembering the date). When I attempted to get their customer service people to assist (possibly refund some of the money or maybe offer tickets to a future game) they were unwilling to do anything. They charge exhorbatant fees and do nothing when things go wrong. If you can avoid it, DON'T use StubHub to buy tickets. They are lousy.

This company is the biggest ripoff! Stay clear or you'll pay three times the face value of the ticket + exhorbnant fees. Face vale of concert tickets was $43.50 which I didn't know until after purchasing 3 tickets. I paid $104 for each ticket + 97.00 in fees for a total of $409.00! They don't show the ticket face value while you're shopping for seats. I will never use them again.

They charge the seller 10% and the buyer 20%, if you have an issue they will not get back to you, you will be stuck and lose your money. Go to the venue to buy tickets, they are always cheaper and they are real tickets

I am patient and giving during these times of chaos, however the lies, alterations to policies and deceit coming our of StubHub should prevent them from any assistance from the Government and allow the garbage company to flatline. They refuse to provide the refund promised not just when the tickets were purchased but after the event was canceled. There is also a move to delay again any action as they close in on their date for Bankruptcy to avoid following through on their Fan Guarantee. TRASH that needs disposed of, avoid at all cost

Never use Stubhub!

On Saturday May 25th my husband received 2 emails stating tickets were ready to accept. One order was for $1,089.16 and another for $3,770.94.

These were fraudulent purchases. One was for a fight in Georgia that same night and the other is for one ticket to a Taylor Swift concert in Miami.

We live in Oklahoma. I immediately called Stubhub and reported both purchases fraudulent. We called the bank and shut off the debit card and the charges were still just pending so we had to wait to dispute the charges until they fully processed through.

Meanwhile Stubhub told us these would be escalated to their fraud department.

We received an email back stating they reviewed the purchase and deemed it to be non fraudulent. What?

These are 100% fraudulent! I called them again and the representative said he would send these back to their fraud department. Again these people deemed the purchases as not fraudulent. So long story short, Stubhub DOES NOT have a fraud department and they let someone steal nearly $5,000.00.

Our bank is reimbursing us but the fact the thieves will have no consequences and STUBHUB had ample time to stop these tickets is disgusting!

We have never used Stubhub and the one interaction we have is when someone hacked our account and they did absolutely nothing about it is horrible.

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!

Sold Hamiltion tickets did everything right. Buyer purchased tickets did everything right. Stub Hub refuses to pay seller or refund the buyer. They just keeping all the money. Show rescheduled for 9/2021. 17 months from now.
Avoid or you will be out $1000 with no return of tickets or refund. CEO is a huge big CROOK! AVOID now and in the future. They are not professional or fair. All take! He needs to be taken to jail! BTW, the terms and conditions change hourly to fit Stub Hub so they can steal every ones money and lie about it! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Or suffer the same consequences of being ripped off whether your a seller or buyer. Get or sell tickets elsewhere in the future.

Stub hub is trying to profit off Coronavirus 19. Will not let you return tickets to event. Will give a 70% credit and keep the 30% as profit. Do not want to cooperate. This is as bad if not worse than the group selling hand sanitizer for 10 times it value

Glad I took the risk

The last time I bought from Stubhub was 2008 (before I was aware/addicted to reading reviews prior to any online transaction) and it went fine, ignorance is bliss. This time I read all the negative, minimal positive, and vacillated going or not going to a show and finally decided, well, if I can't get in I'll just get a refund. So I purchased general admission at the Santa Barbara Bowl, so I can dance like you're supposed to at a concert!, and, with only a week to spare, was hoping the only UPS option would be okay... It was! AXS tix arrived on sched, two days before event, shipping and tracking was accurate. I got to the scanner and was let in, no problem. So I would shop here again, and fortunately I love the floor and maybe that's just a safer sale.

Totally shocked how this company can…
Totally shocked how this company can sell you tickets and never deliver them. We had made plans, paid for the tickets on this crappy ripoff scam of a company and never got the tickets when they even send out an email your tickets have been sent. Total BS and good luck contacting their overseas so called help. This has been happening way too much to so many people. Horrible BS of a scam business

Great Custmer Service

I used StubHub first time, there for I didn't understand the system cleary. But I chated with custmer service and they were really kind and helped me a lot. Even through my English is not perfect, they tried to understand and explain.
I'll definitely use StubHub next time.
