Bought tickets for the college football game in February, the game is November 4th 2023. We arrived on the 3rd at the hotel. After numerous try's to get our tickets from Stubhub the lady on the phone apparently doesn't speak good English and kept given us the run around for an hour or more. The tickets cost us $400.00 dollars. After arguing for a long time they apparently sold our tickets to a higher bidder our tickets which were on the lower level close to the fifty yard line. I would highly advise DO NOT USE STUB-HUB for any of your tickets Purchases!
I was very unaware of the policies of Stubhub they do not make it clear at all. I put two tickets up for sale but ended up selling them elsewhere. I canceled the transaction with adequate time, months before the event. Now I am being charged for the tickets I cancelled. I did not consent to the charge nor do I know how they got my card information to make this charge. I never gave them any of my card information even when I was going to receive my payout for the tickets that were sold they asked me for payout information. They do not tell you about any of these policies. I have tried calling customer service and pretty much they cant do anything about it.
. yes if someone gives you a gift certificate and you follow instructions and it doesn't work they should make it right. Instead they keep, the money and tell you can use it in the future... I think they are a bank
I never received my tickets to Carrie Underwood, and they WERE expensive. I called and was told they were delivered (put in my mail box), but they did not require a signature which I thought was absurd. Often my mail is put in other people's mail boxes. I NEVER received these tickets. I called stub hub and was told the seller said they could not reprint the tickets. I do NOT understand how you could purchase tickets yet not be able to get a reprint. Unless of course you may have gotten them illegally, hmmmm. So your worried several people will show up to get the same seats? Very strange, any way the only way I would recommend even considering buying from stub hub would be to have it sent certified mail and make sure the tickets could be reprinted.
Purchased tickets for an event and never received them. So far I have contacted Stub Hub three times and they keep saying "you should have received your refund by now, let me check". They continue to promise your refund within 3-5 days, I am now at day 14 and still no refund.
BE CAREFUL.
The fact that this company has made NO effort to address the issues of cancellations due to Covid is disgusting! A coupon for cancelled events in normal circumstances is pretty shady but to continue this practice when all events have been cancelled due to Covid AND to offer only a one year period of use is reprehensible! I could accept a minimal service fee loss but the loss of the total purchase price is just wrong. Who knows if events will be offered in a year or if those events are a reasonable replacement for the original event!
I caution everyone to avoid StubHub... I will NEVER use them again!
I attempted to purchase two tickets for an event. I later received an email saying that the tickets were no longer available from the seller and offering me a different set of tickets, which I accepted. Soon there after I received another email offering me additional tickets which I did not accept. I was charged for two sets of tickets. I tried to speak with someone at customer service and on three different occasion spent over 30 + minutes on hold waiting to speak with a representative. StubHub is refusing to refund the amount for the tickets that I didn't accept or use. I have filed a BBB complaint and disputed the charges with my bank.
I bought NFL tickets last July for the Cowboys@ Texans in Houston for Sept. 26th. I wanted really good seats and was very nervous about spending so much money with a 3rd party reseller. I received the tickets much faster than I expected and I had no issues with authenticity. Best money ever spent online! Thank you StubHub :)
After purchasing tickets for Red Sox yankees game in June in Boston through stub hub. Game was canceled and trying to get refund from stub hub impossible. They have authorized a credit for me to buy something else but I donrcwant that. Buyer beware they are crooks
Tickets never came called and talked to them multiple times promised them and never delivered sold out show and right when the band came on the sent a email saying to click a link to get different tickets, the link did not work they are awful
Excellent experience. We have bought tickets to concerts, sporting events, a musical. We have not had a bad experience. Tickets have always arrived when promised. The seats have been exactly what we expected. I feel like we can buy from StubHub with confidence.
I purchased tickets from stubhub for a concert. Prior to purchasing the tickets I asked if the tickets were guaranteed and I was told they were. The tickets were lost so I called Stubhub to get them replaced and they are refusing to do anything. They told me all they could do was sell me two more tickets for 25% off. They charge huge service fees but provide no service.DO NOT buy from Stubhub.
On May 15,2023, I purchased tickets from StubHub for $158.51 via PayPal for "Celebrating David Bowie - Live in Concert (feat. Peter Murphy & more)", which was scheduled for Monday Oct 16,2023.
The show was cancelled and StubHub denied my refund. I filed a complaint with PayPal, which was denied on 11/4/23 BECAUSE StubHub told them that it wasn't cancelled, even though I have an email from them confirming it.
StubHub then stated in chat, on the phone, and email that I would receive a FULL REFUND within 3-4 weeks. But they NEVER have refunded me and EVERY TIME I call they tell me that they'll refund me in 3-4 weeks.
I'll NEVER use PAYPAL and NEVER purchase tickets using Stubhub!
Purchased tickets to a concert.
Was notified my tickets were ready and to click the link to accept.
When I clicked the link it stated the tickets had already been accepted by another email address.
I called customer service at approx 2:30PM and was promised I would have tickets before the event that evening at 9:30PM.
I then called back at 4:30PM, 6:30PM, 8PM, and 8:45 PM.
Each time, I was absolutely promised they would send a link so that I could select alternate tickets.
At 9:10 PM, when I was still on the phone with the rep, I received the alternate ticket link.
When I clicked it, it stated, sorry, there are no tickets available.
When I told the rep this, he said there was nothing they could do.
Long story short, they would not replace my tickets, which I had been defrauded from by the original seller, because the replacement tickets would have cost more money.
I asked to speak to a supervisor.
When the supervisor came on the line, I informed him there were still tickets available and he said they would not replace the tickets and that the original seller would be penalized.
Penalized? How about banned?
When I informed the supervisor (Jesus) that I was very dissatisfied and that I would never use Stubhub again, he informed me that it didn't matter because he gets the same salary whether I buy from them or not and then hung up on me.
I should never have tried another ticket vendor. I had to go back to stubhub.com. To get my World series tickets. We purchased game 2 and game 5 of the Giants and Phillies payoffs. They assigned your section, row, and seats. No canceling or taking back the orders. I recommend them without reservation.
Ridiculously expensive. Tickets told at 8:45pm and I got an email from them saying I had to post by UPS that day! Then got an email the following day saying would be charged extra due to them not being posted. Would never ever use this site again.
This site sucks in SO many ways. Not only do they offer an outlet for people to buy up all the tickets in order to make a profit, they are making profits off people who do buy and sell tickets. I tried to sell a ticket for a show I ended up not being able to go to.
The tickets were mail-in only, and since the venue didn't mail the tickets out until after the date they told everyone they would (I called the venue and was told someone there dropped the ball), Stubhub cancelled my sale and charged me 20% of the ticket price. I couldn't even re-post them because it was too close to the start of the show.
Bottom line, this is an outlet for people to take tickets from actual fans and make money off of them and the customer service BLOWS. If I could give less than 1 star I would.
Paid $34.88 for a parking pass to a 9/8 Phoenix Mercury game on 9/5. Received an email from StubHub on 9/6 saying the seller had transfered my ticket and sent me an email with the link. I never received that email from the seller. I followed all their troubleshooting steps; still no ticket. They asked me to send screenshots of: my Ticketmaster account showing my email address matched the address in my StubHub account, my Ticketmaster account showing no events, my Ticketmaster account showing my country of origin and that I was logged into Ticketmaster.com, AND a screenshot showing my email inbox with "ticket transfer" in the search bar showing no results from Ticketmaster. I sent them all these screenshots TWICE (on Thursday and on Friday), and StubHub never responded further. I never received the parking pass and had to buy another one (through a different app; I will never use StubHub again). Their lack of customer service is just disgusting.
I purchased tickets for the 7th in Philadelphia. No confirmation was sent to me by email. The confirmation came when I called customer service on Oct 1. The tickets on that confirmation were to be issued to a game in Wash DC on Oct 14. All agree that it was their error. Customer service in Jamaica has no power but you will be on the phone with them for a while until you figure that out. The contested amount is 624 dollars for two tickets. It will take 72 hours to talk to someone who may or may not choose to help.
Stubhub gauges commission from both ends... buyer and seller, I just listed my 2 tickets for 320.00 each. Stubhub said the buyer would see sale price as 354.00 - so they are making 68.00 from buyer. They gave me 544.00 total from sale so took $96.00 commission on my end. So long story short, i sold 2 tickers for 640.00 and Stubhub collected $164,00 from the sale (25% commission).
Answer: That's my assumption. Some other people on this site might be able to answer that from actual experience.
Answer: They sell tickets they do not actually have yet. They started selling tickets for a Garth Brooks concert in Salt Lake City before tickets even went on sale. They have no way of knowing if they will actually get tickets to fulfill orders, and just cancel the order the day before the event if they don't have the tickets. Its pretty much a gamble with Stub Hub if you will get your tickets or not.
Answer: Stub hub only does resales so they can rip off the seller as well as the buyer
Answer: Hello Gisela! We aren't able to have you sell will call as an ID will need to be presented for pick up. Hope this helps!
Answer: Hi Rachael, If you purchase a ticket labeled as Instant Download you will receive your ticket as soon as you order. If you purchase a mobile ticket or electronic download then you will be notified when your ticket is ready. Which would be no later than the date advised when you purchase. It is very rare to not have your ticket prior to the day of event. There are only a select few shows that require ticket delivery day of event. I hope this helps and we are here to assist if you have any additional questions!
Answer: Some of these sellers do not own the actual tickets so they are buying time to get the tickets from someone else who can't attend the event and wants to sell their tickets.
