A couple days ago I bought some underwear from Marshalls that unraveled when I put them in the wash. The yarn wrapped around some of my undergarments and pajama pants.
Purchased Crimson black boots in September to wear in the winter months. Wore them to NYC and realized in the airport going back home that the boot was lifted from the sole. Contacted Customer Service to see if there was a concession or replacement available and was offered 20% discount off any new purchase. Boots were purchased in the middle of September, owned two weeks in December and are no good! Meaning they were not designed to last an entire season! Insane. Wrote reviews of boot on their website and they refuse to post. I've been a Steve Madden shoe owner since its inception in 1990. And ve never ever experienced such disappointment and dismay before! No resolution. No feedback. Now I'm stuck with black and brown boots that are worthless and unreliable! Buyer beware! $130 does not mean quality!
I ordered two pairs of shoes on the 18/12/24. I contacted their unprofessional customer service team by email on the 04/01/25 when I didn't receive the items. They admitted to me via email they had made a massive error with the order & that I will not be receiving my shoes. (honestly it's not that hard to do a job). I received another person's order which were a pair of ugly silver worth $69.00 along with that person's private details (including all details which is privacy breach). Attached at the back of that sheet where my details (label to send to my house) obviously minus my shoe order. I has been numerous email correspondence between myself & the customer service team over this last month including today 29/01/25. Within my initial email to them I told them of the errors they made & asked for a return label for the silver pair of shoes so I can return the shoes back to the the company. I have also asked for a refund of my money & they stated in several emails that I would not receive my refund of $110.00 until I send back the silver shoes worth $69.00 (so basically blackmailing me). I told them I was the one who suggested sending it back to you & have asked for the return label on 7 occasions & still not received one. I also told them they weren't even my style anyway. In total I have sent 14 emails back & forth asking for my refund & a return label. They finally sent me the return label today 29/01/25 to which I will post them tomorrow.
I have never ever in my life engaged with a more unprofessional team & I have asked on numerous occasions to have this escalated to a manager to which they continually ignored my request not only that they ignored some of my emails. I have all this documentation to prove this & I will be sending this to their head office in New York. Also, yes I have tried calling their head office (Australia) several times to which they never returned any of my calls.
I would say do not ever buy from this company because not only do they mess up the orders but they in turn blackmail you for their error & do not return your refund even though this is in breach of the Fair Trading guidelines.
I used to be a regular customer but due to the treatment I have received from them for the last month & still trying to get my money back I will never buy from them again. I honestly hope this helps someone before deciding to buy from them in Australia

I received an email that my order shipped on October 23; I received a Canada Post tracking number and the works. After multiple inquiries, because my package was seemingly delayed in transit for weeks, it was revealed to me by customer service that the warehouse made a shipping error, and that my order was never actually shipped. Now Canada Post is on strike, they cannot ship with another courier, and I imagine I will not receive my order for another couple of weeks at minimum. A refund would have been nice, but that request got me nowhere. Customers often do not have the time for this back-and-forth; the company is taking money from folks and apparently doing as they please, offering nothing more than "sincere apologies for the inconvenience." I'm tired.

The worst company in the planet. No cancellations, no way to edit orders, apparently the warehouse is located in the Moon because they never get notifications. Their system is not synchronized. They are forcing the products on costumers. This "company" is all about reaping people off and their customers service is useless. If you want to return or get a refund be ready to go to WAR

I purchased a pair of shoes from Steve Madden that did not fit correctly. I reached out to return them and they sent me a return instructions. Missed the return date by one day, and reached out just to get a simple extension and was denied. If you are ordering shoes from them online, be careful because you may not be able to return them.

A few months after buying one of Steve Madden shoes at a higher price point, the entire back part of the shoe started to come off.
Customer service just told me to get receipt, bank statement and original box before going to their store to chat with a manager.
Sharing this with as many people as I can. Stay away from this brand.

Ordered some shoes, 3 to 7 days delivery. After a week I checked with them and they said that I would be contacted shortly by a fulfilment centre about availability in a day or two. Next time if I want some I will order from Amazon.

I had been a loyal customer of this brand for the past 8 yrs. But every time I order online I get the display or the returns heels or boots😳😡 it seems like they don't care because you bought them online and not at the store…. I order a pair of boots and what do I get! The floor sample again I took pictures of the box as soon as I opened it 😣 I'm really upset! This is not the first time I have never complained but enough is enough! They should check the merchandise before it leaves the warehouse or the store. I will never going to get anything from this brand again. And don't try to contact them because their time is ET.

I bought my shoes on Black Friday, I pre-ordered them in-store. I never received an order number for the shoes and contacted customer service (who thought I was lying) until I got a representative to tell me to contact the store.
After contacting the store, they reordered the shoes for me. Great? No.
It is now near the end of December. Even though I have an order number with tracking information, the shoes are still missing.
Contacting customer service is no help. As they give me the same lines of "we don't know." The tracking info states the shoes have never left the warehouse. It's been like this for over 2 weeks!
I ordered shoes. I paid in full. I deserve what I bought. Steve Madden is stealing.
I don't need an "sorry for the experience rebuttal…" that most comment tend to get. I just want my shoes.

Hubby treated me to a pair of trainers as a gift as he knows I love them, but just over 3 months in they are falling apart! Sole is coming away and have only worn them a few times as not to ruin them!, took them back to the shop but won't do anything as we don't have the receipt!

After buying COURTNIE Black Leather I noticed that they are incredibly uncomfortable. I am unable to wear the shoes which is disappointing given the investment I made in purchasing them.

You CANNOT get them on. Your heel will NOT fit in them. There is a loop at the back to help you but there is no muscle power on earth that is stron enough to pull them on. The ankle opening has no give. Terrible design. I was able to get them on one time. It took me 30 minutes. I was so hot and pissed,I canceled my whole day. These are a joke. And they are my size, so it's not my fault. Awful!

I should have read these reviews before ordering from the Steve Madden website because what I received is appalling. I ordered the Barclay Sand Leather Boots (Order #*******), and it arrived obviously worn. They came with extreme creases, and there was even a stain on the inside of the left boot with hair attached. Does quality control even exist? Why would they send this filth to paying customers? Take your money elsewhere cause clearly Steve Madden doesn't care about their customers if they're letting them pay $100 for dirty shoes.

Weak customer service & product. I ordered $100 boots. Zipper broke after only worn once briefly, then put on for a wedding. Never made it out of the parking lot. Zipper completely popped open. Boots were un- repairable & worthless. 3 months old. Clearly brand new looking in photos. SM would not refund only store credit once returned. Nothing I wanted every thing is more expensive. Better to buy cheap Chinese goods off Amazon than deal with SM. I will never buy SM again. Shoes are not comfortable compared to Camper or other similar price lines. DON'T BUY STEVE MADDEN! They don't back their products.

I spent my hard earned money on the beautiful black lasso boots from Steve Madden.
$217 after tax.
The most I have ever spent on a boot was $80 and those had ok quality and still are with me to this day after repeated wear.
These black lasso boots however are falling apart and it's so disheartening to see as someone who can't just throw away $200.
The shoes paint is falling off and the sole and heel are breaking down. Customer service and store is no help. Sorry return policy is 30 days and I'm like why would I return a shoe that I like that just happens to have terrible quality. There has to be a customer satisfaction guarantee and I'll def find it.
