I placed a order for Steve Madden sneakers and matching pocketbook 2 months ago I received the sneakers but still haven't received the pocketbook. I was told it was on backorder I'd receive it by Dec. 1st I emailed them and now it went from Dec.1st to Dec. 6th my order is completely paid for yet I haven't received my merchandise. If I don't reach out to them they don't update me very unprofessional of them to do no one should be treated like this especially when they're spending their money. If you want to buy anything I don't suggest you purchase Steve Madden products you can be waiting forever for something you may never get but really want.
I won't order from Steve Madden again. If they can't get something right, which is as simple as a gift card, they obviously have order processing problems. It took 3 separate orders over 2 weeks in order to purchase 1 gift card. Even then, the order was cancelled by them and I was not notified. Now, the card will not arrive on time for the birthday.
They are simply not worth the hassle.
Steven Madden customer service contacted me on here and I was finally able to talk to them about my order. They stated that Canada Post was the reason for the delay because they are taking limited orders for delivery. However, I just got an email (June 11,2020) stating that they do not have the shoes that I ordered in stock! And in that email Steve Madden said that they were refunding my credit card for the purchase and then another email was sent a couple minutes later from Steve Madden stating that my card was never charged... We will see how this goes and if I actually get my refund. Worst experience ever and still won't be ordering from them again.
We are very sorry for the confusion. Your card was indeed charged and a full refund was issued yesterday. In maximum 10 business days, depending on your bank, the amount will reflect back on your account.
I ordered a pair of sandals on May 25th, 2020 and my order still hasn't shipped. I emailed twice, with no response from Steve Madden customer service. I tried to see if it was possible to pickup in a store as I understand with COVID there can be shipping delays, but again got no response. I tried to cancel the order online with no luck. I then called Steve Madden and asked to cancel my order but the customer service representative told me they could not cancel my order as the item is in the warehouse and should be shipping the next day. Well... it is now 3 days later and my order STILL hasn't shipped. I'm very disappointed in Steve Madden's customer service! The fact that they can just not answer their emails (when their website says they will reply within 6 hours), then prevent you from cancelling your order even though it hasn't even been fulfilled, and then provide no information to their customers on what is happening with their order or when to expect a shipment. If I had been told before my order what to expect I would be completely fine but after reading other reviews I see I'm not the only one to experience this and some had to wait a month or more to get their orders. I don't think I will ever order from Steve Madden again!
I made an order 20 days ago for a single pair of shoes. No updates, no explanation. "Still processing" is what they are saying. Emails have been sent, complaints have been made. I've received nothing. And I expect an explanation, my order, or my money back, VERY soon.

My mother ordered a Steve Madden bag for me as a gift. Had it shipped to my house and it never came. I'm not sure what happened with the shipping or even if the bag order was processed at all because we can't even get a response back after sending countless questions and requests for order updates through their order form! Again I'm not sure what's going I thought this would be a great experience as did my mother and that was not the case!

These all caps are not an exaggeration. I returned a complete order worth nearly $9000 of shoes because the quality of them was absolutely horrendous. Using the labels they provided, it arrived at their warehouse in Bloomington on 7/24/23. Fast forward to the time of me writing this email (9/14/24) and they still have not refunded me. I showed them pictures of proof that the Fedex driver picked up the return order, yet they still insist on having me "Wait a few days so they can check the warehouse". Well they have been checking the warehouse now for nearly 2 months. I truly believe this company is trying to scam me out of my refund.

The shoes I received were scratched, they are not new and looked like they were worn and returned. Every time I post my review, they were not being shown on the site which boasts 5 stars for the product. Unreliable and fraudulent. Will not be buying from Steve Madden. This company is without a doubt my favorite shoe company. Have never ordered anything online because each shoe fits a little different, so would recommend going to the store and trying on before purchasing. Love love love every pair of shoes that I have purchased. I purchase all my nice heels and sandals from this company. Extremely comfortable, at least the ones I bought, and great quality. Love this brand!
This was my first and last time making a purchase with SM. I am so frustrated with the service. I can't get anyone on the phone and of course the chat feature on the website is down. I order a pair of sneakers and a bag for an upcoming trip. I understand there are COVID delays but I placed my order 11 days ago and still no shipment notification and I cant even get in contact with anyone for an update. I have never been so disappointed. They actually have a no exchange, no return policy on some items! You must be aware! I purchased a pair of boots on clearance, mind you I paid $80 for them. They turned out to be too big. They said that because the boots were on "clearance" that I could not exchange or return, not even at a store! I will never buy from them ever again! I placed my order on 2/6/22 and was supposed to be shipped out on 2/7/22 with next day delivery to be delivered on 2/8/22 and still has not been shipped out. This is for an important event today and we even paid $30 for the shipping and all I told is I will receive the 30 dollars in refund for the shipping but that does not help that my daughter will not get this in time for her birthday event. Please update your shipping on your site to say that the shipping will not be made by the correct date that you all give. It is not fair and actually very unprofessional in my opinion to not fulfill a promise that you say.

I ordered a pair of shoes off the Steve Madden website over a month ago and have never received the shoes. They never shipped and my order still only reads "confirmed." Ordered shoes from them and paid for 2 day shipping. Never received confirmation email but they made sure to take the money out of my account. 6 days later no shoes and tracking number has literally no information, just says label created. Called customer service and they say they don't know when shoes will arrive but will open investigation. OH and now the shoes are sold out! Didn't think a company like Steve Madden that has been in the business for so long runs their online business so terribly. I should have spent the extra money and purchased from Nordstroms.
