I wear a size 10 boot shoe, tennis shoe any kind of shoe! Ordered a size 10 in tall boots from Steve Madden directly. Boots are definitely too small so I asked for an exchange. I got a very politely worded email saying you may not return or exchange them that they are a clearance item! I'm so pissed. It never said that when I ordered them in fact, there is a link that shows that I have to click on it to see the full return policy and it doesn't say anything about it being a non-returnable item. There's no wonder this company is such a bad reputation.
Ordered shoes, never got any shipment email or update 3 weeks later. Dozens mails to CS, with canned responses ("near future" "pandemic" "about to go to fulfillment center.") that they then RECYCLED word for word as if to taunt. Credit card charged immediately which is shady. Only should charge once shipped which in my case was never. AVOID. Look how all these comments say the same thing. When you order shoes you expect you'll get then. Not the case here.

They ask you for a review. I was honest. Their face masks feels like plastics reusable shopping bags, are too small and not comfortable. Now they won't post the reviews. So irritated I'm not even going to use $45 off $75 coupon they sent. They lost a customer actually three since I will no longer take my teenage nieces shopping there. Plenty of other places to go.

Very disappointed in there customer service
Extremely hard to get a hold doesn't respond to emails, returned my order for being to small I purchased 7 which is a 38 received 37.5 should of been a size 6 it was that small
1 month later and they are still processing my return really wanted to repurchase what I had ordered but now sold out. Definitely not buying of them again.

After trying to return shoes from an online delivery for over 2 weeks, because none of the links they gave me worked. I am now waiting almost a month for the return on my credit card.
The website is terrible if you have a Canadian address but the customer service emails are super friendly. I will give them that.

Steve Madden has appallingly horrible customer service. The shoes are merely ok. They promise free 2 day shipping on orders over $50. UNtrue. One order took 5 days. Second order is going to take at least 3 weeks! Ordered on July 23 & is estimated not to arrive until Aug 9! Third order was also ordered on 23 July & hasn't even reached the Post Office yet. These were new shoes only added to the site July 22.
I will now never buy Steve Madden. It's supposed to be a luxury brand but they don't treat their customers in the same manner.

Ordered a pair of sandals on April 1, my order was confirmed' and my credit card was charged for the item. Fast forward to May 5 and still no sign of them. I have followed up with customer service 3 times via email, receiving the same template response each time. Here's hoping they arrive before winter. Given 1 star for abysmal customer service... Will never order from this company again.

Should have spent a little more and gone with a high quality brand. Bought sneakers for my daughter which she received at Christmas. After wearing them a handful of times, they have fallen apart. Ashley from the 'Customer Satisfaction Team' said she couldn't help with a replacement or credit because too much time had passed. Note to self for future shoe buying decisions. Probably best to avoid this brand given the obvious lack of quality.

I ordered some shoes from Steve madden UK in October and they were delivered relatively promptly. They didn't fit so I returned them in original packaging to address on website at my own cost (even though on website they say returns are free and each order would have returns slip which it didn't). 2 months later and no refund even after emailing customer services. Will now have to open a PayPal dispute which is a lot of hassle. Order #STEV*******. Wish I had read reviews before ordering.

I can't get in touch with ANYONE at this company. I've paid for my order and it's fully charged to my credit card but no sign of the shoes anywhere. Are they even planning to ship it at this point? Ridiculous.
Steve Madden has very beautifully styled shoes, however, on 2 separate occasions i purchased $100+ high heeled sandals in my usual size which is 9. When I got home and and tried on the sandals I realized they were too small. When I went to return both sandals, the store associates would not allow me to exchange my shoes due to it being "worn". Mind you, I only walked around my house to test the comfortability of the shoe. Never did I walk outside in the pavement but the soles of the shoes are so cheaply made with low quality material that a small amount of friction will dent the shoe and make it look like it had been worn a few times. I lost $250 on both these sandals that I won't even be able to wear. Ladies, their high heels run small so remember to go up 1 size and a half. Other than that just be careful choosing your size. It's a waste of money.

Placed an order. Two weeks later no confirmation email, no shipping email, nothing. I emailed "*******@stevemadden.com" twice, no response. I used the "Report an issue" twice on their website. Nothing. I finally got in touch with a customer service rep over the phone who tells me "The item is in stock, but the stock quantity is low"...okay? So why hasn't it shipped and when will it ship? "The stock is low and it will ship at any moment." So I ask her to just cancel the order but she refuses and says that it isn't possible. So now I have to go through my credit card company to get a refund.

Do not buy from Steve Madden. They are refusing to replace a pair of sandals after one literally broke in half. Is from an older online order but seldom worn. Proved that to them with pictures, one being of the strap showing no indentation where the buckle is when buckled to the ankle, the other of the heel showing no wear. FIVE days worth of emails, over a hour on the phone, no assistance! They definitely do not care about the customer. A horrible low quality company. Found a similar pair for less money even and they will not agree to replacing with them. Says wear and tear, I call BS!

I purchased a pair of trainers in my size they were way to small. It took two weeks to get a return label I sent them back an got confirmation they had received the shoes on the 5/01/2023 today is the 18/01/2023 I've emailed so many times to be told they had missed my return but it has now been refunded manually il get an email confirmation. Day 4 of getting the same email as a reply. Still no confirmation email an no sign of a refund. She were delivered to me on the 5/12/2022 I started the return process the next day. I still haven't had a refund the customer service is a joke. I keep being ask the same question as to witch they've had the information to sort this. Still no response that's been helpful. Will never buy from Steve Madden again

Site took forever to message me back about the order. Only got 1 of 4 pairs so far, and 1 of them was ordered and my card was charged then they told me it sold out. This was way later.
Then I messaged asking where the rest were and I had to send multiple emails asking where they were, still waiting for a response.
I ordered these shoes forever ago and needed them in ASAP. Communication is essentially nonexistent on their end. I am wondering if I'm ever going to get my shoes.

I ordered a pair of boots weeks ago, they still haven't shipped. They were quick to charge my card though - of course. I've contacted customer service three times (all of which they assured me the boots would ship the next day or two), well, it's been two weeks, completely useless. Their excuse was "low stock" and therefore the order was send to a different fulfillment centre. Okay, so the order has been sent to a different fulfillment centre WITH stock two weeks ago, why have they still not shipped? Feels like a scam. Your customer service is also garbage. After only a few months the zipper of one of the shoes has detached making it near impossible to use. The zipper falling off of a pair of $120 shoes after a few months of normal use is obviously either a defect or speaks to the brand's quality. Customer service was ZERO help and was very unapologetic, they say you can get a replacement pair in the case of defects but if this stops after only a month you're left with zero support when defects become apparent after the fact.
