The only reason I gave them 1 start is because 0 is not an option whoever the hell Stevie is that works the email is the most rude person you could ever deal with not only did I order daum near a month ago, I paid for express shipping and was told my ONE DAUM PAIR OF SHOES would be shipped out even later. As any frustrated customer would do I asked for a refund and they were not willing to I also asked for information on a shipping date that he could not give me. I proceeded to say that if it was not shipped out going in the 2nd month of me waiting I will dispute the charge nothing was done and I got an email that Steve cancelled my order as he got frustrated with me A PAYING customer for asking questions he had no answer to. Their team is obviously not trained well he did nothing to even trip to help or fix the situation COVID CAN NOT BE THE BLAME FOR EVERYTHING and if your company can't deliver on time express shipping should not be an option MY FIRST AND LAST TIME EVER DOING BUSINESS WITH STEVE MADDEN
I love Steve's styles but I've had MULTIPLE PAIRS fall apart and boy did I write a very passionate letter sent with their shoes returned and they sent me the shoes back with human feces in them!

During this pandemic I have bought several things. Some from Amazon others things from Walmart, Macy's, Kohl's, and Target. I've been looking for a clear/transparent heel and I continued to be recommended to Steve Madden. In doing so I noticed they had a 60% off sale. I was ecstatic! As anyone could imagine! I decided to purchase the Classify Clear in a size 9. As it stated it was available. 6 days later I noticed that I was getting two emails a day from SM but not an email stating my order was shipped. I proceeded to call SM. The representative proceeded to tell me the system is trying to locate the item in one of their warehouses. I then proceeded to ask, "It takes the computer system more than 6 days to locate an available item in a warehouse?" That tells me right there that SM is totally unprofessional! You all had a huge sale! Yet you don't have the capacity nor the technology to fill the orders? That's so disappointing and terrible business ethics! Needless to say, the representative said if the system can locate the item it will send it. If not then they will refund me. If the item was NOT available it shouldn't have been listed as available. I recently made a purchase from Target. After putting in my card information and selecting next to pay it kicked it back out and stated the item was no longer available. They didn't waste my time not did they take money! You all make plenty of money from your consumers. I looked up the net worth of the owner himself. Please get rid of the antiquated system that you're using and replace it with a system that is up to date and professional. You are turning customers away. If my order is canceled I will proceed to write my review on all Social Media Platforms.

I ordered 2 items with a reward that I had and after the reward, I only ended up paying $1 plus $9 for shipping. I received a box from steve madden with only one of the items inside. I emailed to ask why I had only received one item and they said the other was still processing and that I would get an email when it shipped. Fast forward 2 weeks and I still hadn't heard anything so I emailed again. They told me the item had sold out but not to worry because they hadn't charged my credit card. I checked my credit card and found a charge for the whole $10 amount even though I hadn't received one of the items. I emailed them and explained the situation and they told me that "these things happen." No they don't! First of all, if an item is sold out, take it off the website. I asked what they were going to do about it and they said nothing. They told me that if I wanted my reward back, I'd have to return the item that I did receive and that I wouldn't get back the money that I spent on shipping. I asked if they'd be able to send me the same item in a different color or give me a credit for the cost of the item I didn't receive and they said no. I've never been more disappointed with how a billion dollar company handled such a simple customer service issue. I order online frequently and have never had an item be out of stock after I paid for it. I can't believe I have ever purchased shoes from here. I absolutely will never again and I have already told everyone I know to do the same. Please spare yourself the disappointment and stress and stay as far away from this sorry excuse for a company as possible! I wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered!

I ordered some shoes on sept 24, and on the website they showed back ordered until oct 8 which was fine, here it is October 24, I've sent an email to them after the 16th about how I ordered these shoes, I DID NOT GET A CONFIRMATION EMAIL, NOTHING. They emailed me back the next day apologizing for the miscommunication and told me they'd email me once my shoes ship. NOTHING STILL. I WOULD UNDERSTAND THINGS BECAUSE BACK ORDERED BUT IF ITS PASSES THE EXPECTED THEM YOU PUT ON YOUR WEBSITE DONT YOU THINK YOU SHOULD CONTACT THE CUSTOMER AND PROVIDE THEM WITH THAT INFORMATION. I called into their call center today and asked to cancel my order, the customer service agent didn't ask why and didn't apologize for the inconvenience. I then went on the ask why no email and why she didn't even attempt to give me an explanation, she gave me some sad excuse about covid and then being manufactured in China and how it was delayed. Girl just refund me my money, covid can't be an excuse sorry but waiting a month on something and didn't even get an apology. I'll never buy from their online website again, might not ever stop with Steve Madden again.
I've paid for my order and it's fully charged to my card and was supposed to be delivered on decc16, which never was delivered! The mext day the status went from having this date as a due date to pending status. There is now no sign of the shoes anywhere. Steve Madden is not responding back to me so I have contacted someone from the delivery company who was supposed to deliver them and they stated that Steve Madden Company has created a tracking number but has not given the product to them to be able to deliver to me! I finally got a hold of someone at Steve Madden and they stated that it will be here by December 23 but there are no guarantees. Again today the 20th of December I contacted the delivery company and they said they still have not received anything from the Steve Madden company… This is bull! My item was a Christmas gif! I feel like I could have had better puck taking my chances on a third party merchant!

I sold a pair of shoes on Reboot. It took two weeks to get the credit. When I finally got it was invalid. It took another week for Reboot to give a valid credit. In return I ordered a pair of boots from Steve Madden online. Again, it took two weeks to receive my order. The box was left at my mail box on the ground for anyone to take. Here's the kicker... The Shoes in the box didn't match the shoe on the shipping label. Steve Madden sent the wrong shoe, wrong size wrong everything. Apparently, the people in the warehouse can't read. I'm not being nasty. However, if the label says boot with the size and you put a loafer with a different size in the box, that's the only conclusion I can come up with.
I called customer service and they told me to take the shoes to a Steve Madden Store and exchange them. I headed straight out to the mail. No surprise, the store couldn't do the exchange. I phoned Customer service from the mail and was told they would ship the correct shoes overnight and I would have them the next day. Well, its the next day and no delivery. I just hung up with Customer service and was told the order hasn't been processed and I wouldn't get the delivery for another 4 days... maybe.
WTH happened to overnighting? I ran all over town yesterday with the promise of receiving the correct order next day. This is not the first time Steve Madden pulled something like this. I made an order and it took 2 months to get. The shoes didn't fit. Customer service told me it was too late to return or exchange. I will never buy from Steve Madden again. They lie and make excuse's for their mistakes. In this day and age of online shopping you would think Steve Madden would do better.

Still waiting for a refund on products I wasn't even supposed to get but their faulty website randomly put all the items I removed from the order BACK IN the cart. Contacted them IMMEDIATELY once I realized the error (within the hour) only for them to claim it was corrected then STILL SHIP the items. This was back in May. It's August. Then they tried to charge me restocking fees. And you NEVER get an update or your return processed unless you STAY on top of them. You practically have to do their work for them and all that's just the customer service aspect. The quality of the actual products is TERRIBLE. The one item I did actually want and receive was a green purse with green metal accents of the same color. All the green accented parts were loosing paint after TWO HOURS of wearing it for the first time with nearly no manipulation because I sat in a car for 80% of that. Purse already looking dingy and used before the night out even began. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL company. Never mind the fact I bought a near replica version of a pair of slippers from Target that were 1000x better quality. The SM version after a few months are separating at the sole and had nearly NO cushion from day one and NO support meanwhile Targets were OBVIOUSLY better quality even at time of purchase, better support, and actual CUSHION... cause it's a SLIPPER. Sorry for all the caps but I'm truly upset such high priced junk is being sold with terrible customer service on top of that. SM gotta pick a struggle you can't be bad at both but then again if they weren't stealing money they wouldn't make any with these products. SAVE YOURSELF! DO NOT BUY FROM SCAM MADDEN!

My Fiancé found her ideal wedding shoes at a local store, they did not have her size so she ordered them from Steve Madden as the website said they were in stock, in her size. She received an email confirmation that her order was received, and when we checked her credit card, she was charged for the shoes. One week later we noticed she had not received an email indicating the order was shipped yet with a tracking order. We called SM customer service, which is outsourced to a European call center, to inquire. They informed us that the shoes were out of stock. I complained that their website showed them in stock at the time, we even had a screenshot. They said that they take the orders in the order they are submitted, so someone who ordered before us got the last pair in her size. They never gave us a satisfactory answer as to why their website can't update item availability in real time, or how they can justify taking money if the item is not in stock, and just leave you waiting without any updates about your order status. We requested to speak with a supervisor and were transferred to one, but got the same message and no satisfactory answer as to how a business can operate this way when the technology exists to track inventory and all the reputable businesses can do it. Furthermore, the shoes are available in the States but there is no mechanism to ship to Canada, where we are. They could do it but choose not to. She felt bad for us and offered a discount on some similar shoes that showed as available on the website. We took her up on the offer and she said she would have to wait until the next day to check with the warehouse to see if they were in stock, which just added insult to injury as they are 1)not the shoes my fiance wanted and 2) again the website says they are in stock! She did process the refund for the originally purchased shoes, and also processed the purchase of the new shoes but said we would have to wait until today to know if they were in stock. Her manager left voicemail that they are still waiting to hear from the warehouse if these shoes are in stock, the website says they are though. Will we get our wedding shoes or not? Either way, this is the last time we will order through SM and I will tell anyone not to bother ordering through SM as well.
