Will never spend money again work SM

I WISH I would have read the reviews prior to making purchases. My first purchase from SM was a pair of boots that I never received. Label was made but never shipped. Customer service wanted to advise they did until I informed them I spoke with FedEx prior to calling. Fedex stated they never received a package ONLY label was made. But I didn't stop there, I made another order, Northborough and a crossbody. I received the boots not the size I ordered and the crossbody still hasn't been received. I was suppose to receive on 12/14. It's now 12/16 and I'm being told I have to wait 7-10 be to file a list package claim. Needless to say I ordered on 11/27. My items were ordered for a new years trip in advance. I truly wished I'd read the reviews and food business elsewhere.

Ridiculous...
August 12, 2021

I ordered an item with "two day shipping" however, I still haven't received the item. I emailed customer service several times and they kept saying the item shipped. I spoke to FedEx and they said it's a lie because they haven't received the item to ship yet, all they have is a label. I am so disappointed because I ordered this item as a gift and now I don't have it nor do I have any idea when I will receive it. I now have to go out a buy another gift when this particular item is the one my sister asked for. When I told their so called customer service that FedEx said they never received the item, they stopped emailing me back. I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau because this is ridiculous. Now I know that I will not be ordering from this site EVER again, smh.
UPDATE: I just went on their website and it says the item is on back order and expected to be in stock 9/6/2021 but yet my item allegedly "shipped" smh. What a joke. I'm so upset.

I signed up for email notifications to receive the $10 off. When I went to order a pair of shoes it stated I could not use the $10. I wrote a complaint to customer service and was told that I could not use the $10 for the shoes however they would give me 20% off. With the 20% off I then had to pay for shipping when it was free prior. This bothered me as with the shut down all stores are closed so we have no other choice but to buy online. In my opinion if the store is closed the shipping should be free. I decided to go ahead and order them anyways as I really liked them. Two weeks later I checked the status as I never received them and the order was canceled with no email follow up. I again wrote a complaint and was told that they were sold out. These shoes are still available on the website over two weeks later but apparently sold out I have unsubscribed and I will not be buying from this company.

The Derby and Voxxen lines I searched online were limited, hardly any left. They were the best! ----- They were the best looking shoes. Why the discontinuance? The only styles I like are almost gone, none that fit me. This company will design a new line of great shoes that are RARE GEMS and last no time. I emailed the company and they gave an ignorant excuse of not knowing what they have available. Every company should know what they have available. It seems that most of their products are boring with a few rare gems mixed in that they quit making. Please stop dangling the carrot, teasing us with one gold pair of size 8's that fits nobody!

I ordered two pairs of shoes, it stated that they were "delivered" but I never received them. I contacted their costumer service and they stated that they were going to file a claim with FedEx and that I was going to receive feedback 5 days later. Its been 5 days, I contacted them and the only thing they stated is that my order was already delivered and nothing else. I told them that I was supposed to receive feedback on the claim and they haven't responded. I decided to call their costumer service team, waited for 25+ minutes and once they answered, they asked for my order number and hung up lmao.

Terrible
November 28, 2020

I only gave one star because I had to. I purchased shoes online for store pick up. I had to keep calling because I wasn't getting any email stating my order was being processed. I find out they don't even have my order in stock! Why would the order be allowed for purchase if it's not in stock! Then customer service tells me I have to wait for them to find a store that has my order! I just cancelled my order and will never order from them again

Oh how I wish I would've read reviews before I ordered these shoes. I got them for my son for his birthday. I ordered a size 10, my son wears a size 10 and so does my fiancé. They both tried the shoe on and they could not get their foot in them. Because they are a clearance item they refused to give me my money back even though I didn't get what I ordered. I feel like I was duped… Like they knew that these were not a true size 10 so they put them on clearance and now I'm stuck with them. I will never order from them again and I will discourage anyone else to order from them as well. I paid $70 for these shoes and now I'm stuck with them. Horrible service! I'd give zero stars if I could!

Bought a bag delivered start of June had one use (it was £150) but is falling to pieces - they will not even exchange or repair or refund! Absolutely shocking company! Currently speaking to citizens advice and my bank to fight for my money back - DO NOT BUY FROM THEM AS IF THE BAG IS FAULTY THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU - also take days to respond via email
UPDATE - after this review I emailed them & they finally agreed to return the item - it took a while but got there in the end

Ordered 6 items before Christmas...1 arrived

I ordered 6 items right before Christmas. They shipped one that arrived 5 days later (paid for express 1-3 day). The remaining items showed as preparing for the next 3 weeks until the order was cancelled without any notice. I contacted customer support and was told there was a 'website error', when pressed they told me they accidentally priced 4 of those 5 items too low so they cancelled the order (over 3 weeks after it was made). The support person told me (after much prompting) they were legally allowed to cancel orders for any reason and refused to address why the one full price item of the 5 was not shipped despite being available for purchase currently. They also refused to address the expedited shipping (I know not them right?) which seems to have been charged on the full order but not refunded (I am still unclear if a refund has been issued, only that the order is cancelled). They offered 20% off one full priced item for my inconvenience in the cancellation email (currently you get 15% if you send them your email address), but it hardly makes up for 5 items that did not arrive. Lesson learned, she enjoyed the shoes that came in, but I will not order from them again. Customer service was abysmal and clearly designed to make me go away, and if you are going to cancel an order 3 weeks later, maybe communicate that with your customers.

Steve Madden Liars and thieves

I ordered a pair of shoes paid for two day delivery didn't receive them in two days contacted via email was told there was a slight delay then I was told the next day that they were being shipped received the tracking number tracking number said they will be here on Monday Monday came they did not show up went back to FedEx FedEx said that they had not received the package yet and now it is day four which is actually a complete week from the first day that I ordered the shoes I've emailed five times called more than five times now when I call it tells me the system is down till Monday and today is Tuesday. I have no shoes and no refund. I will file a small claims court before I let anybody steal $104 from me. Order SMUS#*******. This is so low budget

Perfect Shoes
July 20, 2015

Firstly I brought a Pair of Steve Madden slip on Trainers for around £70 from John Lewis and not SteveMadden.com.
Online they are cheaper but there is NO SHIPPING OPTIONS TO THE UK, which is a real disappointment as they can be brought for less. (This is why one star has been deducted.)
The shoes feel heavy and good quality, at first they were really stiff and hard to break into which was annoying.
They are a more stylish version of "normal" trainers which I love.
Overall I am really pleased with them and they are comfortable and appear to be hard wearing and are OK for the money but better value online.
The shoes overall are perfect, highly recommend the brand.

MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT! There is absolutely no customer support at Steve Madden! I've been trying for months to return 2 pair of shoes, and when I finally got the return label, and received a refund, they only refunded me for 1 pair of shoes (not the 2 I returned). I've emailed them twice, and called numerous times. Both methods have gotten unanswered. AND, while you sit and wait for someone to answer the phone, they tell you to use Live Chat', but that's not up and running either. It's so incredibly frustrating. I guess I'll have to take this up with my credit card company. CUSTOMER SERVICE FAILURE! 0 stars!

Was shopping out of town at Steve Madden and the store was out of stock of the shoe I wanted to buy my son for Christmas. Sales girl told me she could order them and they would be in before Christmas. She ordered the shoes for me on December 14 and they had still not arrived by the 22nd. Contacted SM and was told my order had been canceled because shoes were no longer available. However, they were still charging me and it was my responsibility to go back to the store to get a refund.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I ordered the Hayden white leather sandals from them over two weeks ago. They arrived in two days and looked good... but for two large bumps in the leather on the top strap of one of the sandals. And the soles looked like worn soles. I contacted customer service, and after talking to several people, I finally got them to send me a new pair at no cost, provided I return the damaged pair. I received confirmation that my "order had shipped" a few days later. But when I checked the tracking number, Fedex stated that no shipment had happened, only a label had been created. A classic move by trashy online companies is to send a shipped email even though they've only made the label.
It has now been 7 days and the item has yet to actually ship. I've contacted customer service about it and have received radio silence in return. I am leaving my address for a month in a week and at this point I doubt the sandals will arrive on time, and no one will help me change the delivery address.
DON'T buy online from them. They're jokers.
Update: regarding the response by Steve Madden that someone has help me with this delayed shipment/change of address: no they haven't. They have ignored my attempts to reach out.

Hopeless

I returned my boots as a tracked Royal Mail delivery (boots did not fit) - the parcel was delivered to the address listed on Steve Madden website but I have had no response, no answers to my emails, no refund - I can't even find a single phone number on the website to give customer service a call!

The Steve Madden customer service is non-existent - appalling!

They keep deleting my reviews on their page.

I was excited to get these sandals as they are really cute and im going on vacation this weekend. Upon reading the comments, i ordered a size up. I usually wear a 7 in Steve Madden so I ordered a 7.5. Unfortunately they were still WAY TO SMALL. They fit like a 6 / 6.5. After emailing customer service, i was basically told because i got them on sale for $65 that i was not able to return them or exchange them for a bigger size. $65 is NOT CHEAP.
So i then called customer service & waited on the line for 40 minutes, still not getting to speak to anyone.

I dont think its fair that im getting ripped out of $65 for sandals their sizing department clearly labeled wrong. This is terrible customer service. Ive never had issues with Steve Madden before, but after this experience they will not see another dollar out of me.

Customer service is very LACK OF & they clearly dont care about their customers. All i wanted was a pair that fit.

Attached is the shoes & another pair of sandals I ordered that are a 7. Those fit. The 7.5 are way to small.

The shoe ripped out at the tie right after I had worn it for my son's wedding. I communicated with the company back and forth with no results. They obviously don't sand behind there product.

Horrible costumer service

They never provided a tracking number till it was too late and my package had been returned to the warehouse, and now I have no shoes and they said they can't send them again because they sold out. Horrible costumer service, I had been contacting them almost daily for almost 3 WEEKS
