Steve Madden shipping is HORRIBLE! I ordered a pair of boots over a month ago and I haven't heard a word about where my shipment could possibly be. I had ordered back in November so that the shoes could have been on time for Christmas and I am now still waiting. I tried their chat online as well (their customer service line was not working OF COURSE) and they told me they couldn't confirm that my order has shipped and that they couldn't give me and estimated delivery date. I am extremely annoyed and will no longer be purchasing from this company.
I bought my husband a pair of Steve Madden shoes about 2 years ago. He's only used 3 to 4 times since he has many pairs of shoes. I'm sad to report that the shoes are very poor quality. They are literally coming undone at the seams. Additionally, the shoes state they're made of leather... but what percentage of the shoe has the leather and what is the quality of this leather? The top layer of this "leather" is bubbling and peeling off... very much like the cheap couches sold as leather couches to millions of Americans in the past decade (but that's for another review). Seems like this "leather" is an extremely thin layer of vinyl (plastic) placed over leather... or cardboard. They look nice, but give it a few months and the vinyl coating cracks, then peels... then to the trash. Corporations earn and the American consumer loses. I will not buy another pair of Steve Madden shoes. I've included photos so you can see for yourself they are hardly worn and the deterioration. Very disappointing.

I order two pairs of tennis shoes on 3-3-21 and it stated it was on back order until 4-30-2, which I was ok with. I received one pair on 5-6-21 and I am still waiting on my other pair. I should have read the reviews before I made an order with Steve Madden. Never received a confirmation of order, eventhough the payment left my account 2 days later. Never received my order. I've been contacting them steadily for 2 months and still NO REFUND. All they write back is "we are unable to refund. We haven't concluded the investigation". It's a missing pair of shoes not a Louvre break-in. I've attached their umpteenth email, received 3 days after I last wrote them, two months after the purchase. Given that the other reviews also paint a disastrous image of the quality once you actually receive your order, I would advise NOT TO ORDER ANY STEVE MADDEN PRODUCTS, EVER.

I bought 2 pair of shoes from Steve Madden one from Amazon one from 2 bigfeet had to return both they were birthday presents for my husband they were dress shoe boots call hearken they were supposed to be a 17EE, shoe was right in size but not in width, to small, probably needed a 4EEEE,was told they don't go any higher. I guess they didn't measure for the big man, so very very disappointed! Christmas time
I pre-ordered boots last November. I was expressly told I would not be charged until the boots shipped a month later. I changed my mind the next day and cancelled the order. I even called to make sure that I had not been charged. I was assured I hadn't been. So, today, I randomly opened my Steve Madden orders to check, to see that they had CHARGED ME AND KEPT THE MONEY EVEN AFTER I CANCELLED THE ORDER. They stole my money. I called customer service and the women had no explanation. She said they would refund me in 3-5 business days. I asked for an email detailing the contents of our conversation for written proof. I have very little faith that I will be refunded. Steve Madden already demonstrated its gross lack of integrity as a company. They blatantly lie to and steal from customers.

What terribly designed shoes! What terrible customer service! If you are not pleased with a poorly designed shoe and try to rectify through customer service, you basically get told too bad for you-move on with your life with no refund, no apology and no way they will even consider your comment could be helpful! Not once, not twice, but THREE times ive had an issue with purchase and orders. I ordered 3 pairs of shoes. The first pair were shipped and sent back to sender without reason or warning, and the other 2 i was able to make a purchase online and both times after waiting 2 weeks each time I get an OOps message saying the shoes are not in stock? WASTE OF TIME AND no one even helps you all a bunch of idiots
Today I went into the store in Vancouver, Canada to have a look and saw they had some shoes on Sale. I asked to try on two pairs and after that point, 3 members of staff in the shop would not stop approaching me and asking me if I needed help. It was almost as if the staff were either just completely deaf or ignored the fact that their colleague had just asked interrupted and asked me the same thing, less than a meter away from them. After the 2nd time of the first female member of staff asking me, they started to begin with "I'm sorry for asking you again. Do you need any help?". I was trying the shoes on, looking in the mirror and trying to decide whether they were any good, and then I took pictures to ask my other half what she thought. They were extremely uncomfortable and didn't fit but the staff said they had no larger sizes. Eventually, because I was so sick of the staff bothering me over and over I agreed to buy them, knowing full well they don't fit and hurt my feet like hell. Now apparently because they were on sale, I can't return them so I'm stuck with a stupid pair of shoes, that are extremely painful and I don't want them. Absolutely ridiculous.

I bought some Hamlet black boots back in December 19,2021. The size did not fit me so I went into a Steve Madden store to exchange them. Unfortunately they did not have my size so they had to order it for me and have it ship to my house. I received them within a week. Boots were in the box until this past weekend 02/12/2022 that I had a dinner with family and friends. I was sitting down the whole time. Only time I walked was when I arrived and when leaving. When I got home I was taking my boots off and notice it had creased and the material started to peel. I called customer service and were not able to assist me due to the item being purchased in the store not online. They only help people with online orders. I've been calling the store since Sunday and no one picks up the phone. I'm very disappointed because they were not $20 dollar boots. If I would of bought them at at a cheap store and this happened I would of totally understand. I was paying for a better quality of boots. Very unhappy. People avoid getting ripped off. On the pictures you can see that my boots are basically new.

This is a seriously true story. I placed an order online on MAY 23... I STILL HAVEN'T GOT THE SHOES YET... It's SEPTEMBER tomorrow! No follow up emails or anything. I'm going to call VISA card to report this company and get refund if they don't contact me another 3 days. I just can't believe I got scammed by this kind of famous company. I cancelled an order previously because I paid an never received the shoes. I thought it was because I prepaid for an item they were waiting to get in stock. I never received the shoes OR the refund. I decided to give SM another chance because I figured maybe the delay was due to covid. I still have yet to receive a second order. No customer service availavle, no resolution. Disappointed. I purchased a pair of Aquarius Tan Suede booties from the SM website in September, and by November, after I'd worn them lightly only a few times, a pearl decal had already fallen off the toe of the right bootie. I went back and forth with customer service several times, and they ultimately refused to provide me a refund, allow me an exchange, give me any repair options, or provide me any extra decals so I could repair the bootie myself. These booties cost $153.49, and I feel I cannot wear them with this obvious flaw. Since SM didn't provide any extra decals (which they really need to, given that some are likely to fall off) with the initial purchase, I really feel that I should have been allowed a refund or exchange, because how else does SM think I'm supposed to get this issue fixed and be able to wear them? I also want to point out these booties took nearly three weeks to arrive, and even given that delay, when I initially reached out to customer service about my options, I was still within the 90-day window of returns. By the time I'd gone back and forth with them and gotten nowhere, the window to return them had closed. All I wanted was extra decals or the ability to return or exchange them, which I feel was reasonable given the circumstances. I was polite and willing to fix the issue myself, but SM provided zero options for my issue.

Ordered boots and sandals. They shipped the wrong style in the sandals. Was told can't return in store bc they shipped the wrong style and can only ship it back to them and they will ship me correct style and not charge shipping. So I need to waste my time and pack these stupid wrong shoes up and go to a FedEx drop off because of Steve Madden's mistake. My first delivery arrived via FedEx. It was great. Timely shipping and package left outside my apt. Door. They reshipped the correct style sandals using ghetto Lasership. Lasership is THE WORST. They should be shut down. The shipment showed no movement or scans for a week after initial scan saying it was en route. Fed up, I emailed customer service asking what is going on since they already received back the wrong shoes from me. They said they will investigate. Only after I contacted them did it suddenly show new scans on where the package is. As of now it's been out for delivery for 2 days. I wish I never ordered online from Steve Madden. This was my first time doing so and my last time. You lost a customer Steve Madden. You would think since they messed up my order they would try to fix it in the most practical and quickest fashion. Nope. This whole experience has been illogical and frustrating and I will hate the company every time i see these shoes. I even feel like just returning everything after what I went through. What a dumb way to do business.

Got an email saying my package was delivered but I did not receive anything and the delivery picture was of someone else's front door. I called the customer service number to get this resolved thinking they could replace the order on the phone. I was told to wait until the end of the next day to see if the package showed up, which it didn't. I called again and the man I spoke to was very rude - he kept interrupting me and rudely correcting me while I was speaking. He said they would open an investigation and I would get an email with resolution options in 3-7 days about the order. I asked what the resolution options typically were and if I would be able to get my money back or reorder the shoes, only for him to interrupt me and repeat himself about getting an email. I hung up, upset at the way I was spoken to and about the wait time for an investigation to be conducted because the shoes I purchased were a birthday present and now will not arrive in time if I have to reorder. Just overall terrible customer service and the delivery service they use clearly doesn't know how to use a GPS system because it's almost impossible to get lost trying to find my house.
