Steinhafels customer service sucks. I have made several attempts to get repair service on a massage chair purchased for $4000 on 12/2020, I also purchased an extended warranty for at the cost of an additional $670, which was represented at the time of sale to cover all parts of the chair. My chair when delivered was poorly set-up and was not fully operational, they took forever to address it. Now 2 years later have an issue with the chair, probably because of the poor set up. I still can't get my chair repaired or someone at Steinhafels of authority, to speak too. I have to take this into my own hands and get it fixed. I will not do business with Steinhafels ever again. Their Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired!
The sales person, Katie, did a good job with selecting the item for purchase. After that it went downhill. Pick up times are restricted to 3 days a week. Delivery is a 2 hour window the night before. There is no flexibility in their system. There are much better stores to shop at in the future.
Typical additional warranty crud. I fell for the scam. Do your research before spending the money. IT is a SCAM! I will not be shopping at Steinhafels again due to this. Plenty of other places to buy quality furniture and you won't needs some extra warranty.
Purchase Josie Lift charge for $900.00. Within 6 months (not sitting on chair) seat became one sided and sit lopsided. Steinhafels ordered replacement seat in Feb. 2022. Seat arrived and was installed Oct. 2022. After many calls RE: timeline I was given unreasonable excuses...continuously. Have been sitting in chair on occasion and notice seat is tilted/lopsided again and leg rest does not come up high and the back is looking tilted. When Steinhafels was contacted this Feb. 2023 the ask about the replaced seat (from Oct. 2022). I was asked to submit a picture to determine if they will follow up any further RE: inquiries.
Our 2 recliner couches and recliner love seat which we are still paying for, now have 4 bad out of warranty switches, leaving them inoperable for my elderly parent with medical issues requiring her legs to be elevated.
Customer service was unresponsive with any assistance. Parts alone for the 1st 2 that failed days apart are over $180, we are now up to $360+ in parts only 6 more switches to fail!
Due to the lack of quality, lack of warranty I would not recommend anyone purchase from Steinhafels! They do not stand behind their premium priced product.
I don't know how they stay in business! The furniture is junk and the customer service is horrible! Do not buy anything here. My friend bought a $2000 sofa and it fell apart after two weeks! The company wouldn't do anything to remedy the situation at all! Disgusting the way they treated her too!

Dream Harmony felt great in the store. At home if was not comfortable, it does not support the body like a Hybrid mattress should. I now have back pain, hip pain, and shoulder pain. I toss and turn all night.
We gave it every chance we could, tried different pillows, etc.
I contacted Steinhafels to return the mattress under their 120 Night Satisfaction Guarantee. I purchased a mattress protector and followed every step. Steinhafels is NOT honoring the guarantee.
Very poor customer service, and poor quality mattress.

I ordered a bunch of items in store. I was told a few items were not in stock but would be delivered in about a month. That was pretty much the conversation. A month later, I get an email saying my items are in but will not be delivered unless I pay a second delivery fee. There was never a mention that because they didn't have the stock that the cost would be absorbed by me. So they are holding my stuff that was part of my original order hostage unless I pay them again. First time I ever shopped there and it's now the last time I ever shop there.
Dont buy. Recliner is inoperable after 6 months. Being told 10 to 12 weeks to resolve. That is poor customer service. Called their customer care team and was lied to. They said the chair is no longer available. Not true in stores and on website... I asked to be transferred to a managers voicemail. I was left on hold and never transferred. Passive aggressive...
Purchased a night stand in February. Was told it would not be available till early March. OK...Im fine with that. Called first week of March, was told it would not be available until first week of April. Unhappily, I waited patiently. March 31st I call to find out when I would be able to pick my item up. Was told first week of May! I called and spoke to Chris in customer service. He was not helpful at all. Basically told me to bad so sad. He would not give me his last name nor would he transfer me to a manager. Never told me he would follow with vendor for my item. So now Im stuck waiting...again!
Do yourself a favor and drive past this store. They work on commission and once they have your money, you don't matter.

Not having clear notation on the bill of sale when pick up is desired, the purchased item is in fact disassembled, is an absolute misrepresentation of a sale.
I purchased a reclining leather sofa, reclining love seat, from Steinhafels and a recliner. After 6 months all 3 pieces started to fade and color wore off. I had their service tech come out and he took pictures and said he could not repair it. So they never called me back so I went to the store and spoke with they Manger and he said they would replace the bad sections on each piece. It has now been 1 year and never heard back from them, I called numerous times and they keep telling me they are still waiting for the parts to come in. Now over one year and still not repaired they figure I will give up and forget about it...NOT! Please do NOT shop there they LIE and DO NOT STAND BEHIND what they see and tell you!
I live 2 hours away from the Green Bay Store and 20 days after purchase, tried to return a vase. There were two salespersons standing close to the entrance that did not move to the counter on my entry, or engage with me at all, I believe because they saw I had a return. I stood at the counter for some time before another employee asked one of them to come to help me. They stated that their policy is all returns must be done within 15 days of purchase and denied my return. The salesperson wasn't very friendly. I returned home and called customer service. They informed me they would discuss with the managers and get back to me. I waited three weeks with no response. I called customer service again and was told the same thing, only to wait another three weeks with no response. They still refused to return the vase, but customer service isn't there so if you aren't 100% sure of your purchase, DO NOT buy anything at Steinhafels!
We bought a large sectional and Offoman from them in November. We were told everything would be ready a week after we moved into our house. The sectional was 4 weeks later than we were told and the ottoman was 8 weeks. Not only that but the ottoman was a piece of crap, the entire center was collapsed. But we had bought insurance for the everything, so we thought we can get it replaced with a new car ottoman. So we called the number for the claim. And we were sent to another department. We followed all the steps and finally heard a response and were called "Liars" and the claim was denied. I wouldn't buy or recommend anyone ever buy a thing. The disrespect from their agent and them not holding up to an expense extra charge they won't stand behind would be more than enough reason for anyone to shop elsewhere. Pathetic!
I had a king mattress pad that they required me to buy to maintain their warrantee. It was never taken out of their packaging and was never used. I wanted to exchange it for a queen mattress pad but was denied. Granted there was a time lapse for the product, but I wasn't asking for my money back. I just wanted an exchange. Perfectly good item still in the bag. I spent over $10,000 in their store on furniture and mattresses, and this is the thanks I get. Not stepping into Steinhafels again. Manager was rude and disrespectful.
The remotes for the furniture purchased from Steinawfuls are failing, we purchased the extended warranty but, the store wants to send a repair kit to fix them even though Steinawfuls knew they were defective but, continued to use them. Do not purchase from this company, the quality is poor the service is the worst in the industry. Bob's Discount Furniture is better.
We bought our furniture in January of 2021 delivered in April. We had so many issues, with the padding and now the remotes. We purchased the extended warranty and now the remotes are failing. Since 2021 Steinawefuls is using another warranty company as Guardian stinks. They now use different remotes and the ones we have are obsolete, yet they want to fix them. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS AMORAL COMPANY. You would find better quality at Goodwill.
Just a heads up if you are thinking about buying furniture at Steinhafels. I found out today that you can't buy replacement parts for their cheaply made overpriced furniture if your furniture is over two years old. If the garbage they sell falls apart before two years you are in luck?. If it happens to last more than two years not so much.
Bought a beautiful grandfather clock that had been marked down in 3 different money categories. We waited patiently for last mark down to save money.the sales lady said nothing is wrong with it just marked down! It was working at store and had no damage! We paid extra to have it delivered and it was damaged in delivery! Steinhafels will not fix, nor replace or refund broken clock! So basically we bought a broken clock! Im very surprised and shocked of steinhafels response! I will not, nor I will recommend steinhafels to anyone! Heartbroken customer! And we spent over 20,000 in store!
Purchased a couch with ottoman. Material had runs in fabric and stapling uneven. Had to redo almost the entire couch at our home. Not a year since they redid it and the front arms are lumpy and the cord on cushions material is coming off. Called and told me that warranty is a year from delivery not when they fixed it. Would not transfer me to a manager. Called salesman and he transferred me to the same person in customer service. I used to purchase all my furniture from here. They have the lowest quality of furniture as well as the worst customer service I have ever seen. They could care less about their customers. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM STEINHAFELS. YOU WILL REGRET IT!
My son bought me a "dream bed" from Steinhafel's in December of 2017. For many months, I have been having issues with sleeping and aches/pains. I finally decided to check the mattress, and you can see what it looks like in the photo. I contacted them and they said the warranty was up this past December, so there is nothing they can do. Not only do they sell crappy merchandise, but they don't care about their customers.
