Do not purchase any software from this dishonest company. If you do you will NOT be able to return it or get any store credit. They will say all sales are final even if their sales page says otherwise. Their customer service reps are useless and will parrot copy and pasted responses. You've been warned.
They advertise cheap courses that are worth hundreds of dollars but they are not even worth a dollar. Courses are very short and oversimplified, you can learn much more if you just searched for videos on YouTube. They allow users to rate courses, nor do they allow them to get a refund except that it comes in the form of "store credit."
Be aware that the terms and conditions say that you can't get a refund if you purchase via a third party, such as the regular deals on sites like Gizmodo. I failed to realise this - it would have been illegal under Australian law where you cannot remove consumer protections through T&Cs. Their ticketing system is the only way to contact them on their website and you must have an order number from their site rather than a purchase through a third party to lodge a ticket. Given that a very large bulk of their sales must come through these regular promotions and they are leaning on the veneer of respectability from the company they're offering deals through this is a pretty shonky way to do business.
I recently had an interaction with the Customer service support of StackSocial and found to be really impressive by the way they have solved my queries.
Had a good buying experience as well and fantastic customer support.
I saw a very good offer for some Web development courses related to full stack dev. You're better off going to YouTube and watching videos there because that's all this is - a string of videos. There's no files to download to work through to follow along with the instructor, or test questions to test your knowledge... or if there is I couldn't find any sign of any such things on the site... just a long list of videos to sit and watch. The instructors in the vids that I saw all had some type of Indian accents and spoke very fast, which doesn't help when teaching - especially when you have a foreign accent.
The shipment ordered took a long and arduous route from overseas. I fretted it was stationary and contacted customer service. After several back and forths, they responded with an explanation for the delay, out of their control, and let me know when the order would arrive. It arrived a day sooner. I would have been even more concerned were it not for the attention of the customer representatives who never ignored my queries and provided useful information.
Their customer service is fantastic! I needed help with getting my VPN up and running and they were right on it! The vendor spent as much time as needed with me (probably more than most) and got it working fine! I also received some earbuds that I could not get to pair with my phone. After giving me additional instructions, which I tried to no avail, they shipped me out a replacement pair! Never had to contact them twice.
I had a problem with a software acquired on Stacksocial and they answered and solved the issue in very short time. Congratulations to the team by the great job done and for their concerns to the customer. Certainly I'll be back to buy other apps. Thanks for attention. You all are great!
I signed up for stack social a few days ago after a friend sent me a coupon for 65% off a coding bundle. I'm so happy I was able to get it- I can now dedicate time to this bundle of diversified knowledge.
While purchasing I made the mistake of not putting in a discount code- the very helpful and responsive support team sent me another code for 20% of any future purchases.
I highly recommend the folk over at Stacksocial/Stackskills...

I tried to buy some VPN subscription from them and all seemed OK. But then, some guy emailed me that my credit card blocked the transaction and I need to send them a copy of my credit card and bank statement. I asked the credit card and it was not true. When I confronted them, they changed their narrative to "we value your privacy" bla bla bla. Cancelled my order but now I am afraid these guys will use my information in scams. I guess, if it is too good to be true then you are not the client anymore, you become the product.
I bought a solar charger from idop which apparently is sold by stackCommerce. The product arrived on time but never worked properly. It took several attempts to get somebody to finally contact me back and I got the standard noticed that said all sales final. Had I known that I never would've ordered from them. I finally did get my money returned, but I wanted the product. I offered to return my product in exchange for one that actually works as described... but they refused and only sent me my money back.
We n be ordering from here again.
Buyers beware
This team is 5*, they helped me when someone else used My account and has stolen money from My card, and they investigated and sent refund in few days. Very friendly and helpfull people. Thank you so much one more time. Edina
Bought courses... can't access them. :/ horrible. You can see your listed purchases, along with instructions to redeem them... only there is no way to redeem them. Truly a bunch of madness. If you used a credit card... charge it back.
Never received my product but the money taken from my account. Help desk reminded " all sales final'! WTH? I never received my product or a resolution to this problem. Still waiting and not happy. Won't be recommending at all.
The reason there are no course reviews on their site is most of them would have 1 star. They are out dated and designed for another site. They mention links, downloads and forums in the videos; none exist on stackskills.
I've had issues logging into my account over the past week. The site seems to accept my username/password but takes me to the main webpage asking me to log in again. I've tried different browsers, different computers, etc and it still happens. I've contacted support to address this and all they do is tell me to reset my password or reset my password for me and tell me to try it again. I've explained my login information isn't the issue, there's something wrong with my account, only to have the next email come through that says they're sorry I can't log in, here are steps to reset your password. I've asked to speak to a supervisor but no one has called me yet. A couple things to note here: 1) it's nice to see they hire nothing but script monkeys to man the support desk, no one can think outside the box, 2) why is there no phone number to call support? Why are we all stuck communicating over email where it takes a day or more to even get a response?
I believe I've contacted Stack Social twice and have nothing but great service! I've always received quick responses (within 20-30 minutes) from the time I sent a question and a few times under 5 minutes. I know I said I contacted them only twice but there were more than one email after the initial question was asked and answered if anyone was wondering!
Pretty bad experience here and a warning for others. I placed an order for a drone and the warranty and received a bad drone after waiting 3 weeks. I sent the drone in for the warranty repair and they did not repair and only sent me partial of the cost and not including the cost of the warranty. The lady who was helping (olivia j.) strung me along for almost 7 weeks saying it definitely will be resolved, then she did something really shady, she sent a link for a review and I gave her a positive review then she sent the email back saying sorry we can not do anything, well what scam she knew exactly what she was doing and because of her I am now trying to get the remaining balance reversed as I go on every review site to make sure other people know not to go with this company.
I sent them an email with a question and asking a bit of their company. Turns out i had a misunderstanding of what they provide. Not only did i receive an email from the founder himself, he took the time out to help me with my original question on a product they don't even sell. It was above the call of duty and truely appreciated.
I bought a three pack of phone charging cables and two of them were not working. There was a no-refund policy (only exchange policy) that I was not aware of. I proceeded to give a detailed explanation of what was wrong, and did not want a replacement. After a very short two days, my money was refunded. Because of this I will continue to shop for products from this company. This is a perfect example of excellent customer service. I should know, because I have worked in customer service for 30 years. It's easy to do the right thing, and when you do, it creates happy customers like myself that will in turn take the time to write a 5 star review.
Answer: It took a long time and the intervention of PayPal, but I got a refund--finally--for an item that was never delivered (because it was never sent.) The range of scores for this business makes me wonder why some people get good service and others are ignored--even defrauded.
Answer: They don't want to interact with anyone. You'll get these ridiculous emails from their "Support Heroes" team. They are all cut and paste nonsense, and they deny any responsibility for their vendors. I was only able to get action by working with my credit card company to reverse the charges because of the scam they pulled (item they advertised was not what they actually sold). As a precaution, I also advised my credit card company to automatically deny charges from them. My advice is to NEVER risk buying from them. It's like your mama always told you: "If it sounds too good to be true, it isn't."
Answer: Hi Humberto, We would love to help you on this. Please contact us at https://support.stackcommerce.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Answer: I responded to an ad. Very stupid of me, and i will never do that again!
Answer: They have no customer service, just form letters. No matter how often you email them, you will get no response that makes sense. They have no way of contacting them except emails.
Answer: Clearly playing numbers game. Probably making their own positive reviews. No one stopping them. Internet scammers.
