I received fantastic customer service from Brandon R. His responses were timely and courteous. I felt like someone was truly listening & sincerely cared. My concern was addressed to 100% satisfaction. Well done!
I had a complaint with an online course i bought from them. Since i was still within the 15 day period, all it took was 1 e-mail (and a follow up after their response) to get a refund in store-credit. Some people may not like store credit but for me it worked out fine. Fairly quick response time and no hassle.
I bought couple of softwares from StackSocial, however, one of vendor software was not at all useful in my usage scenario. After lodging the complaint... StackSocial and the respective worked together to get sorted out and provided me in time refund as a credit.
My overall issue got resolved in just 2 days... Thank you StackSocial for your support.
Desmond and team have worked well to give a good result. However...
I feel that you have wasted a lot of money on rectifying this matter.
Initially...
I had intended to purchase the 4-book offer (and only that offer!) Then things started to go seriously wrong...
It got lost or never sent...
A lot of time intervened and your 15-day period expired before I even had opportunity to realise its loss.
Then I was offered the possibility of buying something else.
When I originally purchased via Paypal I paid for the 4-book offer and not a substitute in the event that it turned out to be unavailable. To offer me the choice to have something unwanted in its place instead of my money this was really too much of a good thing.
Consequently I very much doubt that I will ever consider buying from StackCommerce again!
Ahh, here's another one... plenty of negative reviews for StackSocial and yet I've only had good experiences.
The items I bought (which were all hard goods) were "promoted" and "on special" and I paid less than I would have if I'd bought them elsewhere. The information given was correct, and the quality of the items was better than I'd expected. Shipping did take just slightly longer than if I'd ordered through Amazon, but only by a day or two.
I have been quite satisfied with StackSocial but I'll be sure to update this review if I run into any trouble in the future.
Just bought a bundle from them during summer sale. It's all videos with no assignments. You can find better videos on YouTube for free with assignments (such as Code Academy).
Honestly, save your money. Even a refund with these guys only gets you store credit,
Ordered 2 items from StackSocial almost 1 month ago, received one item promptly. The other item has not arrived, although it does show as "shipped" by vendor.
My first email from support was cheery, and asked for my patience. A week later, I asked for an update with an online support person, who after asking to confirm the item ordered, simply left the chat room.
Update: Item arrived eventually. Adding 1 star. Not likely to order again...
I sent another email asking for an update 2 days ago, but have not heard back.
5 Items that I ordered were delivered fast and easy! Had a problem with documentation of receipts due to my own error. Help ticket was answered promptly and with the exact info I needed to correct my predicament.
Big thanks to Brandon Robbins!
Notwithstanding the "all sales final" small type, I was not pleased with an item I purchased (partly because English was clearly not the first language of the person who wrote the instructions). The nice folks at StackSocial refunded my money anyway. That is the type of customer service that will bring me back and encourage me to make more purchases.
Ordered bluetooth ear buds on March 29th. Site said expect delivery 3 - 4 weeks. It's nearly 8 weeks now and still no product. I see today that it finally shipped. Customer service did respond to my emails w/i a day. My advice is try E-Bay before these guys, you'll get your order in minimum time.
I purchased the lifetime access packages to Stackskills containing as they say "1000s" of courses. Finding what I have is a real pain. 16 pages of about 36-courses` icons in no particular order that I can see. When I put in a search I get both those I have in the package and those they have still for sale. This would not be a problem if I had only 4 or 5 courses but if they are going to sell large packages and you may have several this is not good planning.
The site hides terms behind multiple tabs, split to deceive you. Customer Support is more than happy to keep up the bait and switch offered by their company. Save yourself disappointment or time in needing to scour their entire page, with multiple links hidden between tabs to uncover that they are trying to just steal your money.
The product I received ( black "leather" backpack is so incredibly cheap and does not resemble the picture of it on Joyus website. I feel dumb for falling for their ad, and I am dumbfounded that they are getting away with this. Want to spare others from this rip-off company.
This was the BIGGEST waste of money. The product doesn't work. It keeps turning itself off. After repeated conversations with their support, trying everything suggested, basically was told nothing that they can do. What use is a VPN service that won't stay on?
I have bought 3 items from this outfit and I can certify that these are inferior quality items. You can do better, even with price, at your local Best Buy or Target. I recently bought 2 Dash Cams. They are made from cheap plastic, almost toy like, and once turned on, they both constantly freeze with no way to turn off until the battery runs out. Instructions are almost non existent since they are written in broken English, and not possible to follow as they refer to buttons that do not exist - maybe translated from Chinese using Google Translator! Wasted $50 and they are only fit for the trash. Previous purchased an iPhone holder for the car, and ended up tossing it. Also, beware of shipping times - often items take 3-4 weeks as they ship from Asia regular mail.
I purchased a course "Publish an Android Game App" which was created in 2014 and never updated. The software they teach how to use does not function anymore. Website owners refuse to refund this useless course. Money wasted! :(
These guys offer so many interesting goodies on their websites.
Some great value buys too, along with a lot of freebies and giveaways.
Customer service is also excellent. They get back to you quickly, and they always seem to try and help as much as possible.
Definitely a recommended site if you're looking for new toys to play with or even educational materials.
BEWARE. They do not make what they sell, and don't offer refunds. This is the email I received from their customer service, when I tried to cancel an order 1 minute after it went through, for a phone/key tracker, which is useless if you only have the software...
"I'm sorry to hear you're unhappy with your purchase.
As it stands, we are contractually tied to a no refund policy with our vendors, allowing us to offer amazing products at a huge discount. Additionally, digital license codes and redemption assets are sent out immediately upon checkout, at which point the vendor is paid. I would love to accommodate your request, but if we offered refunds, customers could make purchases, redeem the assets, ask for a refund, and walk away with free software."
Absolute joke of a website. Ordered what was supposed to be a gift for christmas on november 23 and it didn't even arrive until late january. Their response time was awful. And the whole "all sales are final" bullet hidden at the bottom of the product listing is ridiculous. I explained initially the delivery date was before christmas, but then it just never came. Will never shop from this website again! Nor should anyone else.
Purchased a Mophie Powerstation XL. Received unit and charged it for 24 hours. Unit showed 4 lights solid when plugged into power source, but would not light when unplugged. Unit also does not deliver charge to either iPhone or iPad. Left two reports with email support with no response other than canned we got your mail and we are working on it.
Answer: It took a long time and the intervention of PayPal, but I got a refund--finally--for an item that was never delivered (because it was never sent.) The range of scores for this business makes me wonder why some people get good service and others are ignored--even defrauded.
Answer: They don't want to interact with anyone. You'll get these ridiculous emails from their "Support Heroes" team. They are all cut and paste nonsense, and they deny any responsibility for their vendors. I was only able to get action by working with my credit card company to reverse the charges because of the scam they pulled (item they advertised was not what they actually sold). As a precaution, I also advised my credit card company to automatically deny charges from them. My advice is to NEVER risk buying from them. It's like your mama always told you: "If it sounds too good to be true, it isn't."
Answer: Hi Humberto, We would love to help you on this. Please contact us at https://support.stackcommerce.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Answer: I responded to an ad. Very stupid of me, and i will never do that again!
Answer: They have no customer service, just form letters. No matter how often you email them, you will get no response that makes sense. They have no way of contacting them except emails.
Answer: Clearly playing numbers game. Probably making their own positive reviews. No one stopping them. Internet scammers.
