I ordered two dresses 3 weeks ago and they arrived yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the work and materials used. Stacees kept in touch with me during my order process as they didn't have my first colour choice available for one of the dresses. I submitted custom size and length as one dress was required to be longer than the usual cut at the front as the lady this dress was for wanted to cover a scar on her leg. Both dresses were a perfect fit and I was pleased to find that they were double lined and the off the shoulder style dress has a bra built in... Fantastic for the price. We are both looking forward to wearing our dresses and will definitely order from Stacees again for those special occasions..
Dress was standard size, but the fabric was cheap. The sequins were glued on and shed everywhere. The back waist length was way too short (the waist sit at the ribs!). Then when we asked to return, they offered $35 and said we should go sell it on the secondary market! We have gone back and forth for weeks. I am convinced that all of the positive reviews are artificially created by the company. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
The best way to get your money back.
1. Email them a few times asking for your refund and returns address.
2. If refused, report them to trading standards.
3. Contact your bank's dispute/fraud team and they will take care of the rest.
Things to note.
1. Apparently all the dresses are custom made. 2. This company will NEVER refund you money. 3. All they will do is offer to sell you another dress at a discount rate (according to other reviews, this new dress may not fit either).
4. Most important of all, DO NOT GIVE UP. Keep chasing up your bank until you get your money back! It worked for us.
Dont ever order anything from them ordered a size 18 outfit as sizes small came more like a 12 Im only a size 14 e mailed them to return as no return form was sent told it was custom made no it wasnt asked for money back no chance paid £111.50 with shipping in dispute with them never order anything from them I looked at the reviews on their site and they were brilliant wish I had of looked at other reviews sites independent ones like this site I would never ever of ordered anything
Absolutely appalling customer service - could not have been more rude. I was talking to them about a couple of bridesmaids dresses when they decided to increase the price by £15.00 per dress.

Purchased address purposely board size bigger arrived two days too late and when it arrived, it was too small.
Contacted the seller to return and they have used every excuse not to give the return details.
The details on the site is actually in China. They also saying that dress is a tailor-made a fit that is complete lies. They've took no measurements or asked anything size wise.
It turns out that they are not based in the UK. Which makes sense into why the sizing is too small.
Dont buy from Stacees
They say you can return with in 14 days how can you do that when there is no return label brought a dress for our daughters wedding look lovely but when it came it wasn't petite the zip was jamming and it was floor length not ankle the customer service is none i have been done you can not speak to anyone
Very bad company. I bought 2 dresses from them. Both were so ill fitting that they cannot be worn. One was supposed to be grape colour came out pink. The other one was nothing like the photo. I am going to contact trading standards.
Worst company ever
Do not buy from this company. Bought 2 dresses for my wife last year, no where near to sizes ordered and materials of low quality. Refused to refund. After doing all they asked of my, numerous emails to no avail money lost. The sooner this company is investigated the better...
After leaving bad reviews and messaging them many many times, Stacee's has not responded to my refund requests after promising an amount. They have (after some time) gotten back to me about my dress return, but if I don't get a response about my refund they was stated, I will be reporting the company itself. This process has been over several months and I'm extremely disappointed with they way they have been handling things. All I want to do is return my dress and get the money back in the amount that they promised, and it seems they are making a whole bunch of empty promises.
This company is the most fraudulent and unethical company I have ever encountered. I bought 2 dresses on their site. They are supposed to be based in the UK. The dresses were poorly made so I decided to return them within the 14 day return period. The company refuses to honor their policy and has decided to negotiate how much to refund me instead. I paid $330 for 2 dresses and the final negotitation landed on $155. I am livid. The customer service is terrible and I cannot speak to a manager, because there is no manager. They email you back every 24-48 hrs. I have over 70 emails back and forth with this company. I will not stop until I receive my money back and they take these hideous dresses back. Its false advertisement. UNETHICAL!
Scam company. You cannot return! They lie and only reply once every 24 hours at the most. No return address. Dresses arrive and they don't fit or look like the pictures quality is really poor. Avoid avoid avoid

If I could give a lower score I would. Bunch of crooks who refuse to refund on faulty goods and make ridiculous offers such as £10 good will payment in compensation on dress over £100.00! With the further suggestion that I sell the faulty dress second hand to retrieve my hard earned money. What a bunch of jokers and not abiding by UK law. Shocking customer service and will be taking further action to get refund.
Absolutely no refunds so if you don't like the dress you're out of pocket. I bought a standard size and hated it. They will not accept returns. They state on their website they do. Liars. They are not based in the UK so be aware and don't buy from them. It's the only way to stop them they are illegal.
I bought two dresses and they even asked me if I planned on returning the one I didn't like for a refund, which I confirmed. I got both dresses and naturally preferred one over the other, so I naturally went to return the other, and they offered me £80 after I spent $160+ on it. Every time I reply to one email, a completely different person emails me, so I decided to save myself a headache and keep the second dress, but now they're trying to give me money back despite me saying I'll keep both dresses. This feels like a scam waiting to happen. Try a different website.
I ordered a dress from Stacees. Was sent tracking details on Yodel. For 9 days now Yodel have varied information from the investigation has taken place, item is lost to other advisers saying every day it will arrive tomorrow. The parcel has not moved from depot for 9 days but sadly Stacees are refusing to recognise it is lost and are also refusing to give me a refund. Avoid this company I don't know if it is a scam sadly...
It's a scam! They offer refunds, but Do not give them. Ordered a custom dress with my measurements. The dress arrived, I tried it on, it's so tight, it won't even zip. My measurements were accurate. I turned the dress inside out and took measurements of every seam. Some of the seams are an inch off. The dress sits off center. It's a piece of crap. I contacted the company, and, (as with so many of the other customers) asked me to send photos. I did. They said they made the dress to my exact measurements, and could not take it back. Offered me 10 pounds. Then offered me 20 pounds. If I had checked google for their reviews instead of what is on their site, I would have NEVER purchased from them. Their site is set up to look like a UK company, but they are not. So angry, so humiliated... going to try to do something about them.
I bought two dresses to try on. Neither fit.
I emailed the day I received them to return the dresses. Nearly two weeks later and they are still refusing me a return and trying every trick under the sun to get me not to return them. The tricks don't include giving me my deserved return!
If you can avoid the site then I would 100% shop somewhere else!
Buyer BEWARE! I ordered a dress and paid for expedited shipping. The dress never shipped. When I questioned the company, they told me the dresser did not met their quality standards and would ship out in a few days. I told them not to ship it as they had missed my deadline for needing it. They told me there was nothing they could do it. It already shipped. Now it's been two weeks. If the dress was never shipped, the refund was never made. They've told me they're going to send it to "whatever" department to process a refund. There is no customer service phone number and talking through email with this company is like talking to a four year old who hasn't learned to write complete sentences.
I recently purchased my bridesmaids dresses, these dresses were exactly as described on the site. The material is excellent quality and the detail is stunning. Contact between myself and staff over live chat was very helpful and quick response always. I can't thank yous enough for the service.
