We have ordered a Jade dress. We received a Black dress. We have not been able to get a refund or exchange despite contacting Stacees on numerous occasions. They have offered to sell us another dress for £50. What a JOKE. Pay the extra and get your dress from a shop.
I ordered a dress from here for prom. After a month I received the dress…it wasn't great. I expected it to look a little cheap but what I got was an arts and craft project. I followed the companies complicated ticket/refund system and was not allowed a refund. On the website it says refunds are possible as long as the dress wasn't custom sizing or damaged. Mine was neither. Their return/refund system is a sham. They told me the best they could do was 20 dollar compensation or for me to buy another dress for a cheaper price…I want a refund not another cheap dress. Bad grammar in every single reply even from the reps. Terrible service. Scammed out of 155 dollars and left with an ugly dress.
The dresses were pretty but DON'T buy from them! We bought 2 dresses for my daughter for prom after I very clearly asked if we could refund for full refund if they didn't fit correctly. The answer was a clear "Yes". Now that they didn't fit and we want to return, they now say only if it's damaged can it be returned. They ask for pictures and suggest going to a tailor and will NOT gove the address return and lots of run around.RUN from this company!
The 48 Hour Shipping didn't work. I needed a prom dress to come and my prom is tomorrow and it still hasn't come. I'm super worried it was supposed to get here on the seventh. They messed up my order and didn't even ship it until I had to email them and remind them about it. Prom dresses are expensive and it sucks when they forget about your order so they are late. When I emailed the girl, she said the prom dress was going to get here by my dance. It still hasn't gotten here. I will probably never order from here again.
Have emailed the last 5 days asking for a return address, they gave me a ticket ID (dont know why!)
All I need is a return address which so far is not withcoming! Keep repeating the same thing in the,Live Chat' and telling me Customer Services will be in touch, now going to reprt to Trading standards248
The dress was of course, poor material, and poorly fitting. Honestly it didn't fit at all. Their site makes it so difficult to try to get in touch with them and all they reply is send more money and they will send me another dress( of poor quality)throwing more of my money away! Then they stopped emailing once I refused their offer to throw good money after bad and I wanted just to return the dress! I will take further action and NEVER GIVE THIS UP!
This company should not be allowed to trade. The zip is broken and the material is not a shown, they will not let me return the dress or get a refund. I had to get money back through my bank, proving this illegal trading. I will be also reporting to trading standards so this doesn't happen to others.

If I could give a lower score I would. Bunch of crooks who refuse to refund on faulty goods and make ridiculous offers such as £10 good will payment in compensation on dress over £100.00! With the further suggestion that I sell the faulty dress second hand to retrieve my hard earned money. What a bunch of jokers and not abiding by UK law. Shocking customer service and will be taking further action to get refund.
They say you can return with in 14 days how can you do that when there is no return label brought a dress for our daughters wedding look lovely but when it came it wasn't petite the zip was jamming and it was floor length not ankle the customer service is none i have been done you can not speak to anyone
AVOID THIS COMPANY! STACEES...what a joke! I ordered two outfits to try as mother of the bride. Total £235. Items very poor quality, ill fitting, awful material. Requested a refund, the customer service and returns are a joke finally offered 70% after many email exchanges and live chat, but that didn't include the £29, shipping cost I paid for in the first place or the return fee of £11 to a warehouse in Doncaster. Unbelievably they offered silly refund amounts £20, £50, £70... I argued all the way but finally had to accept £144 of total £235! Totally unacceptable, unlawful terms and conditions in UK law and against the UK consumer rights act. I don't know how they've not been prosecuted and clearly make their money by offering paltry refund amounts. I don't know of any other online retail companies who do this. So PLEASE PLEASE do not use STACEES and read the small print of refund policy. I wouldn't have gone near them if I'd read it closely. I'll believe it when I see the refunded money back in my account!

The dresses come up smaller than the measurements shown. Wedding dress finish is awful with big holes in the lace.
The customer service is shocking. I started my return in July 2022 and to this day i still haven't got my refund nearly 5 months later. The email battle commences but for anyone who is in the same situation don't let them fob you off that you have to send the items back to china. THEY HAVE A UK RETURN ADDRESS IN PRESTON!

My dress just arrived after a month. It's so bad it's almost funny. The length I asked for was 56 inches and it's 49! Mis-shaped, awful fabric, a real mess. Please don't purchase from this site. I'm nowbattling for a refund but not holding out much hope

Didn't recieve what I ordered and paid for it's impossible to get a refund or a return address off of them they offer you to keep your item even though its not what you habe paid for and a silly amount of money hoping you will move on and accept it after months of trying to get it sorted they finally offered me a full refund yet I habe never recieved it.
Emailed and WhatsApp without success. This company is Non responsive regarding refund. Quick to take £100s from people but ignore customers after sale!

After looking online at different dresses for my daughter's prom, trying to find a cheaper alternative to some of the pricier prom shops here in the UK, my daughter fell in love with a beautiful blue prom dress on the Stacees website.
Trusting that we would have enough time to refund it if it wasn't right, we took the plunge and ordered it. Communication was great right from the beginning and we ordered it on the 18th May and it arrived exactly the day it was estimated, yesterday the 6th June.
I am overwhelmed with how beautiful it is. It looked amazing in the pictures, but I didn't really expect it to be so good in person. There is a lot of material, so doesn't feel cheap. The dress is so well made and the detailing on it is beautiful. We ordered a UK size 8 and it feels as if it was made for her. I wish I had taken the offer of having the length altered as it would have been for free, as it's a little to long (she's 5ft 6in) but that's nothing that can't be sorted and it might be fine with heels. I really did not expect such a high quality dress and would have had to pay probably 3 times the amount if I'd purchased a dress from a store here. I would highly recommend if people are looking for a well made and beautiful dress to look at Stacees. The colour is exactly at it looked on the website too. I have already told a friend who is getting married to take a look at what they have because they have a lot of choice.
I am extremely happy and so proud that my daughter looks amazing. And for a 16 year old girl to say "Mum, I feel so confident in it. It's my dream dress. I love it!" then it must be good! Very happy customers and I will definitely purchase again through them in the future.

Orded on the 14th of April for my wedding dress. Didn't come till the 3rd of June. My heart sank when I saw the material its honestly nothing like the picture. It's so cheap and disgusting. It's all in different leavels as well as its not stitched properly. I've taken this dress to a tailor shop who have said it's a very badly made dress. Because it came 2 weeks before Im due to get married. I can't get another wedding dress. So I'm walking down the Isle in a Normal white dress. No communication from them what so ever Heartbroken, exhausted and just let down.
Terrible customer service and terrible quality. Ordered a £99 dress and an immediate red flag was that they took over a month to deliver it. Second red flag was the dress that was finally delivered was a totally wrong size and colour to what I'd ordered. Looking for a refund I emailed them and was met with having to wait days on end just for them to tell me they only wanted to give me £25 which isn't anything at all. Two weeks later I'm still waiting for my refund and instructions of how to send the dress back. Appalling customer service and is just a big scam in general. I'd still like my refund of £99 for order number SS*******131
