Absolutely unprofessional company! If you order a dress forget about exchange or refund, they will not do it! They keep saying they do not have dresses in stock and they can't accept return. 2 out of 4 bridesmaids dresses made wrong, too small. I am now stuck 6 weeks before wedding, avoid at all cost. I am stressed enough without bridesmaid dresses DRAMA topping up my anxiety. Can anyone advise if you managed to get your money back?
Please do not make the same mistake as me, I can't believe I have been taken in by these cowboys. Counterfeit product, far too small, awful quality and had blood on. Despite all this they would not give me a refund, offered me another dress at a discount. Should be closed down now.
The worse company i have ever dealt with ordered dress ( over 100 pound) when it came it was just awful material cheap and tacky just rubbish i sent numerous emails asking were i return dress as id like refund to be told no! Customer services are shocking im still without my refund its been weeks now emails daily to be ignored they need closing down
After leaving bad reviews and messaging them many many times, Stacee's has not responded to my refund requests after promising an amount. They have (after some time) gotten back to me about my dress return, but if I don't get a response about my refund they was stated, I will be reporting the company itself. This process has been over several months and I'm extremely disappointed with they way they have been handling things. All I want to do is return my dress and get the money back in the amount that they promised, and it seems they are making a whole bunch of empty promises.
Im sorry for all the negative reviews on here. However I ordered a mother of the groom dress and jacket like many others I assumed this was a uk based company. I asked the questions about delivery times. Was told three weeks... for custom made... and decided to go with. I placed order... promptly I got an email asking me for more measurements. In which I quickly replied to. I paid approx £150. And like everyone else no sign of dress getting close to date I required it... e mail after email. Was dhl holding it up... Two days before it supposed to be here I send them an email saying if it not here dont bother as I wont accept it... next day it came... I was petrified to open it after reading many a negative review... but to my surprise the colour (hunter green satin) absolutely gorgeous. I tried it on. And like all was disappointed not fitting like picture... looked like Joan Collins. I was devastated... however I took my dress to a fantastic dress maker... she charged me £50 to correct all the mistakes. And made my outfit absolutely stunning... she also said for her to make me this outfit in this country would have cost £500. So Stacees made a beautiful dress just the sizes all wrong the workmanship that went into it was fantastic. I was lucky I ordered with a month to spare and had the time to get it sorted... the amount of comments I got on the day. Stunning. My dress just arrived after a month. It's so bad it's almost funny. The length I asked for was 56 inches and it's 49! Mis-shaped, awful fabric, a real mess. Please don't purchase from this site. I'm nowbattling for a refund but not holding out much hope
My worst experience ever! I buy a dress, it come from France, looked nothing like picture so asked to return it took 2 weeks every day emailing to manage to get address- it is China! They promise return 50% of dress cost + i pay for delivery back, in the end i send it, they refund to take it! No idea what is happening with this dress! Super upset! People dont waist your time, money and health!
My daughter saw dress online and I felt price was very good for made to measure outfit. Ordering online was easy - we used the online chat facility to clarify the colour choice we wanted (selected the "as per picture" option which was a great idea to have when ordering, as very often it's the picture you've seen that you want). Once ordered they clarified measurements (be sure to check your spam mail). They said delivery would be early Jan and they delivered by end of December. Daughter is very pleased with fit and so am I... thank you. It's a beautifully made dress.
I requested a return because the dress did not zip, and they asked for photos of me in it? (Uh… the dress that doesn't fit?!) Then never responded when I said no, because that is an inappropriate request, and asked to begin the return process. SCAM "return policy". Buyers beware!
Bought daughters Prom Dress. Was that bad she was in tears trying it on. Asked if we could exchange and they flatly refused. Now stuck with a horrible dress we can't re sell and have to find another from a proper company. Do not buy from these people!
If only I had read the reviews before I ordered a dress from this company! Their website makes it appear that they are a UK company. My dress was mailed from Singapore. It was probably made in a sweatshop somewhere in Southeast Asia. I sent exact measurements, most of which were followed. However, the tea length dress in the picture did not arrive. I got a dress that fell to the floor. Stacees admitted in writing (email) that they didn't follow the length measurement I gave them. I told them it would cost $40 to have the dress hemmed. They offered $15 saying they only make a profit of $10 on the dress. I'm now disputing the charge through my Chase credit card company. It's just a nightmare. Meanwhile, my daughter's wedding is getting closer and I don't have a dress. Buyer beware. Especially when you are buying something from a country where there is no consumer protection!
Bought a dress with Stacees but it didn't fit you would assume like all other clothing companies that with proof of purchase I would be able to get a refund. No. They gave me a merry dance and refused to give me a full refund insisted that I send the parcel back tracked from uk to China at my own expense whilst also telling me that my parcel might get lost in transit (which happens a lot apparently) and therefore they are not liable/required to give me a refund. Just had an email from them saying they will give me a full refund if I take my negative review down. Not a chance I'm not the first person they have fooled out of money and mine was paltry compared to what is listed in some of the other reviews. Hopefully people read these reviews and don't shop with them.
I paid $400 for two dresses that were arrived in a bundled up ball! They were poor quality and good luck trying to return. They offered me $40 refund and did not provide where to send back dresses. I am STILL fighting with them for my money and how to return the dresses! Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable.
I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from Stacees and like many others I really wish i had read these reviews beforehand. The dresses arrived quickly but despite being "made to measure" they did not fit either of my bridesmaids. The colour is different to the original colour sample I received and they generally look cheap. They do not look like the picture on their website. Sent numerous emails to their "customer care" team which were ignored. I persisted and they have told me that as they are made to measure they cannot be returned - even though they do not fit! Avoid!
I ordered two dresses 3 weeks ago and they arrived yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the work and materials used. Stacees kept in touch with me during my order process as they didn't have my first colour choice available for one of the dresses. I submitted custom size and length as one dress was required to be longer than the usual cut at the front as the lady this dress was for wanted to cover a scar on her leg. Both dresses were a perfect fit and I was pleased to find that they were double lined and the off the shoulder style dress has a bra built in... Fantastic for the price. We are both looking forward to wearing our dresses and will definitely order from Stacees again for those special occasions..
Dress was standard size, but the fabric was cheap. The sequins were glued on and shed everywhere. The back waist length was way too short (the waist sit at the ribs!). Then when we asked to return, they offered $35 and said we should go sell it on the secondary market! We have gone back and forth for weeks. I am convinced that all of the positive reviews are artificially created by the company. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
The best way to get your money back.
1. Email them a few times asking for your refund and returns address.
2. If refused, report them to trading standards.
3. Contact your bank's dispute/fraud team and they will take care of the rest.
Things to note.
1. Apparently all the dresses are custom made. 2. This company will NEVER refund you money. 3. All they will do is offer to sell you another dress at a discount rate (according to other reviews, this new dress may not fit either).
4. Most important of all, DO NOT GIVE UP. Keep chasing up your bank until you get your money back! It worked for us.
Dont ever order anything from them ordered a size 18 outfit as sizes small came more like a 12 Im only a size 14 e mailed them to return as no return form was sent told it was custom made no it wasnt asked for money back no chance paid £111.50 with shipping in dispute with them never order anything from them I looked at the reviews on their site and they were brilliant wish I had of looked at other reviews sites independent ones like this site I would never ever of ordered anything
Absolutely appalling customer service - could not have been more rude. I was talking to them about a couple of bridesmaids dresses when they decided to increase the price by £15.00 per dress.
