Watch out for their sneaky practices if you get mobile services and residential internet. The accounts are not linked and depending on which spectrum login you do first your other bill won't get shown. This later becomes your fault not theirs.
Thus "service" is so bad it's hard to believe it's reality. The Techs that installed the boxes and the half dozen it so that have been to my house in the last year all tell me the boxes are not good and should be replaced. That's no joke. They just don't work like you'd expect them to. I would try into all the problems but I don't have the time to write a book. Just stay away and use streaming. I'm working up my streaming stack and I'm going to cancel ASAP
I would like to complain about our cable service, it is an issue literally every day! If it isn't one tv it's another, and we have 4 of them. I am not exaggerating when I say that there's a problem daily; all's fine one second and then the next thing you know the screen is frozen. I have to unplug the tv and the cable box and plug them back in, if it's not my tv it's my tv in the living room, or the office, or our sons room. It is EVERY SINGLE DAY, it isn't fair to pay $200 plus a month for decades, but when you call it to complain, they say they're not showing an outage in our area, or they can't credit our acct. Unless it's been out 4 hours or longer?!?! Terrible business practices, unfair, and very expensive for any service w/that many problems. Someone HELP, they're company should be held accountable, in some way or another. Looking for ways to "cut the cord, ASAP!"
I have been on the phone with Rectum at least 10 times in the past 2 months. I am working from home and the internet is ALWAYS disconnecting. Even using the Ethernet it's crap. I have had 3 technicians come out and they say everything is great. I'm no... it's not. It'll work for about a week after they leave and then back in the cycle of it being crap again. Nothing like trying to work and it keeps dropping. Oh and now the answer is, I have to many electronics hooked up to it, I'm we have had the same amount for over the past year. Nothing has changed. I think at one time we actually had more so they are full of it and just tell you lies to get you off the line with them. If you can avoid having them I would highly encourage you to do so.
I can't tell you how many times Spectrum has lied to me. My "3 year price guarantee" was just violated in the middle of that time period with an unannounced $10 raise. I'm moving and will switch to T-Mobile but do yourself a favor and NEVER get in with Spectrum. Their entire business model is to hit you with unexpected raises and hope you don't complain.
Worst customer service I have EVER experienced. After spending 30 minutes on the phone yesterday...I finally hung up. Went to the local office to get my concerns addressed...was completely dismissed by a young man who should not be a customer service person. Finally got my bill today {March 5th} for a bill that is due March 11th. Obviously the checks I've written to Spectrum {Time-Warner} for the past 30 years or so mean nothing.I cannot hardly wait to find anyone else who wants my check.
I have been with Time Warner for a long time and when Spectrum took over I can't seem to cope with it. This is the third month in a row that my bill has increased and I am tired of it. I am at about $223.00 a month without premium channels after 3 months of increases with no explanation, but if I was a new customer I would be paying less than half this! WHY?
I've bought 5 devices from spectrum 3 of which at the same time. Now, my problem is that they don't report none of these payments to any of the credit agencies. But if you become delinquent on payments they report to the credit agencies! Only! Mind you ur paying for these drives over a period of 12 to 36 months, YES 3 years! I just don't understand this! I've paid off all my devices and will not purchase another! Will be getting service from another that does report as of Monday!
I will leave a review with every possible source I can until you solve this. I bought my mom's phone for her and told spectrum that that was the only authorized charge for my card that I allow. They charged me over $700.00 from that point on. My mom passed away and I asked then to return my money to me and they said they cannot because they could no longer bill her. That was August of 2021. They just billed me again today for my dead mothers phone that has been inactive since August. Spectrum is the nastiest company I have ever dealt with. And I am currently contacting a lawyer to sue spectrum
I had Spectrum internet and was okay with the cost and service. Then I made my mistake, I bit on their triple play for $90 monthly. It was explained at the time that it was going to be a bit more, but my 1st bill with the triple play is $247.99 OMG. Called for an explanation, cannot get a straight answer from them, so asked to go back to just internet, no that cannot happen at my old rate of $49, if I want to go back its $69 monthly. So just cancel my service then. Another lady came on the phone, just mean and ugly tone, rudest person you can imagine. Unbelievable, so from a general inquiry about why Im paying $247.99 I have to cancel my entire service.
My advice with spectrum is run.
I don't understand how they go out several times a day, for hours at a time. I have the worse time working from home. They always want me to rent their equipment but I seriously did for the first 4 months and had problems, thus why I decided to just buy my own modem. The thing that gets me is they call me all the time to add more things to their service that already struggles. Do not recommend.

Their business model forces customers to pay for service they don't want in order to get services they do want. If I had another option I would take it. At some point this will catch up with them, I am quite sure.
Well I see they have terrible reviews and don't seem to care. Stay away on any product you can. They just dropped my e-mail service I have had for 25 years.

A complete joke of an installation. We have had a surveyor, an installer, a construction guy, and an installer all day is not their fault we can't get internet yet. It's always someone else's fault they can't install. They have the most God awful communication between departments. They know we have never had any internet options until now and they know they can keep kicking us around and wasting our time. We can't even rate the internet because they say it will take another surveyor, and construction guy before they can even schedule install again. What a complete joke and they could care less, no putting a rush on it, no we will make this right for you. Nothing just call customer care again.
I swear that this company only hires people who hate their job. Must be advertising 'if you hate working apply here!' my internet went out for a full day, missed work (work from home), waited a day for a technician, and they only can credit me less than $5?! The manager was rude and had an attitude like i was wasting her time by her doing her job. I swear this company likes to waste time and charge for horrible service
Here in upstate NY the state government is helping to fund high speed internet throughout the state and spectrum is not happy to take the cash from the taxpayers but is also dipping into the same pockets of the taxpayers it has connected.
Outdated equipment that fails repeatedly, random dropped connections and ever rising costs for constant poor value service.
Called to upgrade internet speed to higher speed for business was told my bill will bee 50 dollars more and the tv/phones will stay the same so package would have been $300.00 / month instead I called since almost all the channels I need not turned on and the bill is 380 so to just try to upgrade to higher speed they lied by not telling the truth about the real price do far called 4 times same lie have to call billing.
After q3 yrs of loyalty now I do miss time Warner had better customer relation.
In the last 2 weeks I have lost my internet in excess of 10 times. I did average about once a month loosing the internet before this 2 week period started. I never had this issue when it was Time Warner. I would switch away from Spectrum in a heart beat but they have a monopoly on the cable service where I live. Their service is horrendous. We were told that we could replace our cable with fiber, we accepted. We just found out that over the past year or so that they have been double charging us, their response is "Oh, you had to call and cancel the other not to be charged for both". Very poor customer service with everyone we spoke with. We are not happy with this company.
Since Spectrum has taken over Time Warner there has been nothing but rate increases. Now to watch my second TV in my bedroom, which I rarely watch, Ill have to pay another $11 a month for a cable box. No thanks. Im moving in a few months and switching to satellite.

Answer: You're smart to stay with FIOS. Spectrum is the worst cable company around. They're very expensive and your bill will start creeping up every other month without any explanation. Avoid Spectrum!
