Just had to have our job refunded. Three weeks and still nothing from them despite repeated chasing of them. They have quite severe isues with communication and customer service clearly isn't high on their agenda. I would honestly avoid using them. A worse experience I have never had with an online printing company.
Ordered some business cards and had some issues with my order, and the customer support team are shockingly bad, lazy, one word answers, no effort to try help. Poor! Solopress would do better off without a support team, i think they needed to pay more attention at school i think...
The product and the price A+ the guys in graphics and printing obviously know what they're doing... compared to the dumbassess in support. Shocker
Bought some business cards from them, they arrived damaged from printing which they admitted to and refused to fix. When speaking to the adviser he rudely kept telling me to wait when I was typing. I will never buy anything from this company again. I paid £43 for 50 business cards which were unusable!
I have spent thousands with this company over the last few years but when I asked to return a clearly faulty roller banner I was told I couldn't as it had been more than 30 days since the order was placed. Then I was told I couldn't speak to anyone more senior about it as "they'll say the same thing".
I'll spend a few quid more and go somewhere else. Well done Solopress for losing a regular customer over a £29 roller banner. Ridiculous.
I used the online chat service and Amy Constantine was very helpful - she advised me how to order postcards for my business and understood my issues (better than I did!) and sorted out my problems very quickly.
They do not care one bit you have a different person to deal with everytime u order comunication is a joke so is customer service they are too big to care they are the cheapest in the market for a reason and thats because the firm is being run by kids who cant wait to just go home
Where do I start?! Ordered 2 x name sets of their triple layer "luxury" business cards, everything about these cards is the complete opposite of luxury! Cards arrived 2 weeks ago, firstly they only printed and sent 1 name set but charged for 2. On to the quality, the design is very basic 2 colour with a solid black background, the black literally looks like mottled grey, the cards were also meant to be 85x55mm in size, they arrived 82x55mm which threw off the perfectly centred artwork completely. Very reluctantly I agreed to a re-print on the assurance from customer service that the cards would be personally checked by the quality control manager. Well, the re-printed cards arrived today, they managed to print both name sets this time but the quality has left me gobsmacked. The background looks even worse, cards are bending in several places and they literally look like they have been trimmed with a butter knife, I genuinely mean the edges of the cards are quite literally shredded! Not a single one of the now 150 cards is even close to passing as presentable, and this is apparently what their quality control is. I've been a long time customer of Solopress, but the last few orders with them the quality is completely non-existent, they've lost my business for good, i've spent over £400 with them this year and really regret it now, trust me go to a different company!
Do not use this company. After placing a substantial order with them online, I phoned to follow up on my order and had a terrible experience with them, been hung up on twice and spoken to so rudely by their staff. When I asked for a refund they said their payment portal was broken and they didnt know when they would be able to process my refund. There was no customer care or offer to let me know when it would be done. I then was hung up on again! Awful! Stay away!
Worst customer service, Placed order for printing business cards Job no ******* on Monday for a delivery on Wednesday, Wednesday evening I was emailed delivery on Thursday. Thursday I phoned them thrice no reply, Finally on Friday I spoke to someone who promised me for a delivery on following Monday, Are we fools to pay for 24 hrs service and wait for 1 week. I cancelled the order.
I have used solopress on many occasion but last few years they are bad to worst. Avoid its a trap
Firstly the sales people did not email me until end of play on the morning of my order to say my artwork was incorrect... lost 1 day...
Then we uploaded the revised artwork to a template from their site... to be told late the second day it still wasn't correct... lost another day... the so called salesperson sent another template... which was the same as the one from their site... uploaded new artwork to be told it's still wrong... then by a second salesperson it was correct... day three... order arrived today (day 5) all 5000 leaflets has s bad print error.
Did get a refund, but as these are for local elections I've lost more than a week of campaigning time.
AVOID IF YOU CAN
Solopress are one of the best online printers and services. I've been using them consistently for the last three years and the quality is always good as are the prices and turnaround times. Everything is laid out simply and efficiently on their website. But they aren't just a faceless website, there are real people behind this who will go the extra to help. If I have issues then their team will sort it for you. Jasmine Perry at Solo is excellent in this regard. Highly recommended. I am used to using online printers and if they didn't provide a good product on time then I would go elsewhere but I am struggling to think of an occasion when I wasn't happy and if I was it was usually my own fault.
Have used this company a lot of times and have never been disappointed. The quality is always brilliant and have never had a problem with the next day delivery.
Not long time ago I have received a quote for a large quantity of printing. I have sent the email later confirming the printing and asking couple more questions as a result had no reply. I gave a call and find out the person is no longer working for the company. They came back to me a week later with quote in 4 times more expensive than original one for the same print. They were claiming that the person who was working was underestimating the jobs. I dont know if its true or not, but I have spent a month and wasted my time. I think its a very bad customer service, they have to be responsible for there employes and not finding excuses. Its there problem inside the company and should stay inside the company.

Ordered 150 wall calendars with solopress on the recommendation of a friend. Calendars arrived yesterday (Mon 8th) with order placed on Thur 3rd. SUPER FAST!
The quality is excellent - I cannot fault. I was a little skeptical given we could not price match this anywhere else (our bulk order comes in at around £1.50 per calendar!) but thoroughly recommend for their professionalism, quality & service and will use Solopress again without doubt.
I was advised to use the higher GSM option by my friend and to fully proof my own work (which Solopress recommend also). I used their online template to upload 12 photos + cover picture. Proof copy (pdf) via email was returned to me the same evening for approval and delivery was received promptly via dpd.
I used the online chat facility twice - once to ask if envelopes were included (not) and once to ask if I would recieve a proof copy. Both customer service admins were responsive, helpful and friendly.
My experience with Solopress has been an absolute pleasure. Worthy of an excellent review.
I had some little A6 flyers printed. Very simple job. Had a 6mm border around the edge and when they have been trimmed you would think one side was 8mm and the other was 2mm.
They were printed on the wrong stock also.
When I tried to complain I was told that as 5 days had passed there was nothing they could do.
On my experience I will never use this mob again and suggest that any one thinking of placing an order with solo press stay well clear

Where do I start? Awful experience and we have lost a customer because they messed up the order. Quality of print was good but back pages came loose when opening. They also only sent a third of the order. No understanding and reassurance and refused a refund as the remainng order had gone to print. Frustrated was not the word and at no time despite numerous emails which were ignored, phone calls where I was fobbed off and when asking for email confirmation to confirm the delivery date promised - nothng came through. I exlained that because they had delayed the order and the binding quality was rejected by my customer that a cancellation occured. Nothng. Absolutely no customer service at all and we are nearly £500 out of pocket with a potential delivery apparantly with no email confirmation for friday. First and last time we have used them. Avoid, like the plague! They have taken our money and could not give a $#*! about anything past that. Unbelievably bad.
Got my money, left my buisness in limbo. If its last minute 24hr delivery go elsewere. They will take ye money before telling you they cant do 24hr delivery. I waited in for an email day1 on day 2 waited in for delivery. Day 3 no cards and an APOLOGY. Our biggest event over and it cost my buisness customers. SOLOPRESS you will not get away with this. The whole order was intentional. If i had a refund it would be an insult. As that would show it wasnt about the money, it was about taking my buisness out the competition. I came to solopress needing 24hr delivery they took there money and give me 72hr delivery with an apology.

Solopress have great customer service and prices. When their transaction page was not working, I was able to complete my order manually with a team member. It was quick and straight forward.
