I never use Skip. I was only going to use it because I was gifted a $100 gift card otherwise, I don't even use Skip. I went on the website to ask why it doesn't show on my profile even though I redeemed it. The guy told me how to redeem it even thought he first thing I told him is that I already redeemed it and it's not showing. Then he told me to clear my cache which still didn't work. I told him it didn't work and he told me to email customer support. I thought that's why I was chatting with him... He said that's all he could do on his end. So I emailed customer support and basically they told me that after I purchase an order, the credit will show up. So I asked "so I have to purchase something before I can use a gift card?" And the guy didn't reply to me. What a joke. First of all, I don't even use this app, I'm only using it cause of the gift card and now I have to spend my own money before I can even use the gift card? Skip has a terrible selection, terrible customer service, and stupid system.
They have terrible customer service. The courier was to lazy to deliver my order to my door. I advised support at SkipTheDishes and requested a refund but they refused to refund me.
My wife and I were both flagged/banned and the company wouldn't to give us a reason. We then received a gift card from a friend after we had our baby. Skipthedishes wouldn't let them cancel and wouldn't let us use it. This company has the worst customer service. USE OTHER DELIVERY SERVICES!
Came to drop my slurpees off and threw the slurpees on the front deck, and then said nothing and ran away. Also throwing one of the cups into the yard trying to hide it!
I had a courier tonight who was extremely rude and unprofessional. He called asked for directions I couldn't understand him one bit so I decided to speak very clearly where I was located and he kept interrupting me telling me to come down where he was so I just hung up because I had better things to do with my time. 5 Minutes later he called again. I tell him AGAIN the number of my home and that the porch light was on and then he has the audacity to tell me I'm being rude when he clearly was the one who was being rude to me before hanging up. If you don't want to work for Skip The Dishes fine but that doesn't give you the right to be rude to your clients when you are tasked with delivering THEIR DINNER to THEIR HOME. Have some respect and start showing some professionalism for this line of work or don't do the job at all!
I ordered a junior chicken meal from Mcdonald's and a twenty piece nugget meal. I got no junior chicken meal and 10 NUGGETS instead This is beyond ridiculous and i am so disappointed in Skip The Dishes! I order from them constantly and the courier was Amanda. If you get this Courier DO NOT GO THROUGH WITH THE ORDER :) THEY ARE SO RUDE AND DONT GET THE ORDER RIGHT. I CALLED MCDONALDS AND THEY FLIPPED THEIR $#*! SO IM LEAVING A REVIEW INSTEAD. I hope skip fixes this soon.
The driver was very pleasant and the order was delivered early. Everything was hot and completely sealed when I received it. Would recommend to anyone.
After multiple bad experiences and no luck contacting Skip, I'm done. Order directly from restaurants and don't let Skip skim the 30% from the restaurant.
Spoke many times about not getting my order but the did not respond accordingly they didn't care enough to respond about my complaint horrific for my first time
If you get a delivery driver named Cheickna, do yourself a favour and cancel the order and start over so you get a new driver. This driver keeps your food and places it on delivered.

Today i saw skip the dishes delivery put the order on the ground in the lobby instead of delivering it to the actual office. They put the food on the dirty floor n left.
Ordered food and the delivery is not in real time. Keeps going back in time. Got cold food, and when you contact them they just drop the call. Not impressed. Will not use them again in the future.
I ordered burgers and waited out front of my building with my cell phone for the driver to save them time. As I was waiting I saw a car stop in front of my building and start eating food then drive off. My order then showed as delivered even though I didn't have it. After i contacted Skip the dish they tried to tell me the driver could not find the building. After being pressed they then changed it to they could not contact me for entry. Then the customer service lady tried to tell me that they tried calling and my phone didn't work. Of course none of these reasons made sense or were correct. I was out front of my building (which is a giant building that can not be missed with big numbers for an address out front) way before the little map showed the driver even close and had my cell phone with me (which works). I described the car and driver to them in hopes that if it was actually the person that was supposed to deliver my meal they may be able to do something about this so that the same situation doesn't happen to anyone again but of cause they don't seem to know anything or care. They did offer me a credit as a refund and suggest that I try to order again and wait another hour before I would get my food. If the driver simply couldn't contact me or find my building they would have been able to still deliever my food once I contacted them. The fact that they could not and told me I would have to reorder simply shows that they knew the food was gone and that is scary as I wonder how often they let this happen. Ridiculous. Save yourself the trouble and don't count on Skip the Dish for your meals.
They should have the option for direct contact deliveries. For those who don't receive their food often. Or to have access to contact the delivery driver
The restaurant has the food ready to go but it takes skip the dishes an additional 50 minutes to get to the restaurant. Therefore the food is inedible when you finally receive it (if ever).
Had a few situations with skip. One of them is they are supposed to take a picture of the food at the front door, instead the driver left the food at the gate that is on the side of the house.
The only thing worse then Skip the Dishes service is their Customer Service reps. Do yourself a favor and use Door Dash. Never ever will I use Skip the dishes
They guy come near to my house and didn't come to my house and he completed the order. I got notification that your order is delivered but no one come to my house and I didn't get my order
Ordered from Harvey's in Welland, Ontario. Order arrived but was actually cold... not even warm. Fries, onion rings, burgers... not even warm... actually cold.
