Delivery drivers don't follow instructions, will steal food, drop it off at completely incorrect locations. Customer service is a joke, you cant even call them it's all over text. Don't use this, when things get screwed up by their useless employees you'll only be met with more useless employees
Fool me once shame on me fool me 4 times shame on you. Ordered last night didn't get my item showed no empathy or anything didn't understand my thought process. I don't understand why drivers can't check the order to see if it's right or if you see the order is for two things make sure if you pick up a bag with one you double check that's good for you and your customer. Also offer the option of skip credits and a refund why would I want to have skip credits when they have messed up too many times. Never use these scam artists.
I order from skip the dishes I have a lot of health issues and when I order from them because they keep offering skip credit and doesn't change anything I quit the app for several weeks then I want to give a chance to see if they took my advice seriously. Nope the driver came to the airlock and would not leave so I have to open the door to shoo him away he drop the bag and left when I got inside the bag smells like smoke don't know if is dangerous for others if I catch anything is life or death I have asthma so it flare up.
Terrible customer service. My food did not show up and a week later I have still not received my Refund
After years of loyalty I'm done with skip. I waited outside my building and no driver ever showed up. I was chatting in real time with an agent and verified my address and phone number, but the courier never showed up or called, then changed their status to "food delivered". I left a bad review and the courier called me and YELLED at me, saying they did their job and I messed up. Keeping an eye out for my refund, sounds like they're bad at following through on those too.
After multiple bad experiences and no luck contacting Skip, I'm done. Order directly from restaurants and don't let Skip skim the 30% from the restaurant.
If I could put 0 I would put 0. Ordered some food and it came cold. I talked to 6 people on support that were really pissing me off. They scam you out of your money and close the chat when they damn sure know that they are in the wrong. Inget bad service and I have to get penalized? People please do not spend your money on skipthedishes, it's terrible. When they tell you they will refund your card they think they are slick and instead put it as credits on your skipthedishes account. I will never use their services anymore. They are definitely SCAMMERS
Honestly the most bull$#*! service I have ever experienced. I have 15+ orders wrong or just not show up. They will take your money and your food. Incompetent drivers. The owner of this company hires drivers who don't know what the $#*! they are doing. I can't get my money back for 5 $#*!ing days and I get to starve with no food. Love getting robbed from you skip. $#*!KK YOU YOU DUMB MOTHER$#*!ERS.
Your commercials are terrible. You insult Canadians but want us to spend out money on you - There are many other companies that appreciate Canadian business and do not insult its customers... TERRIBLE PR
All was quite well with Skipthedishes for the first couple of months to be quite honest. My review is directed towards the app developers as opposed to the delivery employees:
My credit card was compromised, so it had to be cancelled. Once my replacement card arrived, I successfully activated it, and attempted to synchronize it with my already installed skipthedishes app. This is where the frustration began:
1. After multiple attempts at syncing my credit card, and told it was declined, I attempted to add it through the browser app. This also did not work.
2. I then decided to uninstall the app, and re-install it. Same issue. Card declined.
3. At this point I was beyond frustrated, but was determined to fulfill my late night munchies hankering, so I soldiered on...
4. I then created a new skipthedishesaccount with another email address. After about 15 minutes of fumbling through the completely unintuitive app, I came to the screen that asked for my address/postal code. I attempted to select "Continue"... to no avail. The app would simply not progress to the next step.
5. At this point, I gave up, and decided to download the Uber Eats app. After less that 4 minutes I had successfully created my account and my order was delivered promptly within 20 minutes, without issue.
To the SkipTheDishes app development team: You need to up your development skills if you want to continue to complete in this market. The app is clearly ridden with buggy features, and I assume your agile development team is pushing out releases prematurely, without adequate testing. So, for that reason, you're fired!
After dealing with three different people over two weeks, Skip the Dishes refused to credit me for a charge they made on my VISA card. I proved that it was not my charge but they still refused to fix their error. I cancelled my account and will not use Uber Eats.
I made an order which was never delivered then I contacted the customer service and they took too long it was not of much help personally I recommend that they train better the people who work for this company
They left my food in the lobby of my apartment. The customer service people told me that was my instruction for contactless delivery. That was not my instruction, they always delivered to my door, and someone stole my food. Will never be using this again
I have waited for two hours for delivery which is not acceptable, very disappointed in the service. Nobody should have to wait that long for a delivery if they do money or credit to the app should be considered.
I ordered from Skip the Dishes for the first time. We placed an order for Pick-Up, but the app made it a Delivery. I did not add my address while ordering because we were ordering pick-up and there was no way for me to correct this error.
The incorrect address was in there. Eventually I spoke to someone from Skip the Dishes, gave them the correct address. The food was not delivered.
No one notified us that the order had arrived. We waited for over an hour.
I requested a full refund and they denied it. No support was offered.
Its not first time that the courier didn't my food. Its been numerous times that courier comes outside my house to deliver but neva came out of the car and when you check the status it says "delivered". They comes to your house for delivery and then don deliver. I would neva eva use skip the dishes again :(
Tried to order multiple times off skip kept saying payment failed when I have money in my account. Absolute waste of time never using skip again
As a competitor of UberEats they completely drop the ball on the customer service side.
When there was a promotion that allowed for a free meal + delivery (limited per store location) the skipthedishes app had another promotion code applied and would not allow me to remove it to use a better promotional code. After contacting support and remaining on line with them for 20 mins, the promotion was lost and I was left without an apology or remuneration. Contacting them a day later yielded a message saying "multiple accounts connected to your email therefore this subject is terminated". Well yes, there is multiple accounts because I am consumer and a business owner (that I will now delist from skipthedishes). If the representative had asked this woukd have been clarified quickly. Instead, she ended the chat.
My orders have come half spilled and leaking all over all other order items. I have had drivers say they have delivered orders and nothing came. Havn't gotten any refunds or skip credits. I have spent alot of money with them too. Very upsetting.
Answer: Not at all easy. And they are disrespectful, rude and downright terrible at providing service. The worst company I have ever dealt with.
