The driver drove to the wrong side of town with my order. Not only did he drive 20 minutes away from the restaurant in the opposite direction of my house, he didn't get to my house for another 30 minutes after that.
My food was cold and ruined; I ordered wood-fire cooked pizza and the crust wasn't crispy. Skip gave me a $7 refund. I complained again, because this was a $50 order; the garlic bread alone was worth $8. The best they could do was a 50% refund, but this wouldn't even cover the cost of the pizza.
They used to be my favorite courier company, and now they are dead to me.
I think the pizza place was upset that I gave them a low review. So the next time I ordered, they sent me a plate full of red public hairs. I reported it to skip the dish but instead of refunding me and contacting the restaurant, they blocked from ever using their app and sent me a sarcastic message about having high standards and ending our incompatible relationship.
Food showed up almost an hour after delivery it was cold and gross ordered fries they weren't cooked right food was gross and delivery service shows up with freinds and other people during covid lockdown I should get a refund
Two times now my order has been wrong. They say they will refund but they partially refund, have taken more off of my cc and then not given me the return back. So now I'm out double! The online chat tells me there is nothing more they can do for me and that the refund has been issued but is never actually received. Then they cease to respond. This delivery service may be convenient but they do not care if you are double charged, have the wrong order, or care to resolve any issues. I suggest ordering from the actual location and picking up if you can... skip using skip
I order lots of food from delivery services and few times I had a terrible orders with different problems. In skip, I got two times rotten, spoiled products and they initiated only 50% of refund when it supposed to me whole refund because I just threw away this garbage. You should never use it.
I only gave 1 star because there's no option for giving a 0. Almost every time I order, there's missing items. This results in me, a single mom on disability, having to spend more money to re-order as Skip refuses to just send me the missing food. In the meantime, my kids are starving because their food never came and they're crying and screaming frantically cuz they have special needs and can't understand why they have to wait another 30 to 45 minutes to eat. On top of this, I have to wait 3 to 5 business days for the money to come back to me. And as if this wasn't bad enough, I don't even get credited anything at all. Shame on you Skip the dishes. Very unprofessional. I'll never order through you again and I'll be sure to let everyone on social media know what they can expect when ordering through you.
If I could rate in the negatives for their customer service support, I would. Never felt more disrespected and dismissed by a company, absolutely awful how they handle complaints of any kind. First contacted their support email on Dec. 28th of 2020 about an issue I had with the delivery bags I ordered never being shipped. It worked out since I had found another job anyway and didn't require them anymore, so I just needed a refund for the items that I had paid for and never received. A representative by the name of Kulwinder Singh responded back to my email promptly and reassured me I'd be getting a refund no problem since I had all the proof and information, etc. The 16th of January 2021 rolled around, with still no refund. Replied to that same email so all the history of of the conversation would be kept, and was responded to by someone named Hargun K. Telling me to update my vehicle information so the bags could be delivered. Not at all what my request had been, so I responded saying they should check the previous emails because all I need is a refund; I did NOT want the bags, seeing as how I did NOT want to work for that company anymore. Yet again was shifted to another representative by the name of Shahram R. Telling me the bags have now been sent (regardless of all the emails, the un-updated vehicle information, and the original promise for a refund). By this point it is now the 21st of January, and I have received no help and only been shuffled around by three different people, none of whom are actually listening to me. I expressed my extreme dissatisfaction with the service and requested a number to call or for someone I could complain more directly to seeing as how I was getting no help. No further contact information was given, and that last representative simply said it's up to me now to cancel the items in transit (despite it being their fault for shipping it against my wishes) and that a refund will only be given when the bags return to them. The entire situation is just baffling and infuriating; the worst customer service I have ever received.
Ordered from Harvey's in Welland, Ontario. Order arrived but was actually cold... not even warm. Fries, onion rings, burgers... not even warm... actually cold.
Left the food on our steps. Didn't knock or even notify us it was there. Its -10 out and our supper is cold.
Was charged $450 on my bank account and skip says they can't do anything about it. Customer service says i need to contact my bank, banks fraud department is closed for the weekend. Will probably be a few weeks before I get my money back. Terrible company terrible customer service.
I'm a delivery driver I still working because I'm laid off for this pandemic. When you get the order when you reach to restaurant customer cancelled the order but they pay $3.10. You drove more than 15km to reach restaurant but they only reimbursed you $3.10 that never take care there staff. That don't pay anything I will quit when I get the job. They are licking because of this pandemic
At the time of placing my order, there was a $15 discount. It took a while for the restaurant to accept the order. Once it was accepted, I looked at the order summary and noticed I was charged the full amount. The discount vanished. I contacted support right away and asked for a credit or cancel the order. I kept on insisting they cancel the order. The rep kept asking me to wait. There were a lot of delays. It wasn't until the order was picked up that I was told it could not be revoked.
They made me feel like a crook. The rep asked me if I took a snapshot of the order before I placed it. Why would I do that? I have never had an issue with other platforms or services where the amount charged doesn't match what I agreed to.
Eventually, I got fed up, and I said I would contact my credit card company to reverse the charges. It was at this point that the rep agreed to give me credit. The credit is on my SkipTheDishes account. Hopefully, I can use it.
$15 is not much money. I insisted on the principal. I don't know if the store changed it or if SkipTheDishes changed it. The rep finally admitted that this happens sometimes.
Try to avoid using this company. If you do, be sure to take a snapshot of the order screen before you place your order and double-check to ensure the order amount is correct.
SkiptheDishes is the worst... unlike the other companies, as of now we still cannot edit our own menu ourselves (been with them 5+ years and have 20+ locations). Always have to e-mail in the request for edit, and then they can't even do it properly (many times they say its completed but there's 0 change!).
Allow for tipping of restaurants as well as courier. It is unfair that the full tip goes to courier with nothing going to the cook.
Do not order from this company they abuse there drivers. They don't care, they make schedule a lot of drivers in same city, waiting between the orders. And when drivers arrived waiting for there food the extra time the company charge the the restaurant for waiting time but they never pay the drivers for the waiting time. The Skip The Dishes company steal the money from the drivers for there waiting time.
I tried to order through my roomates account, and when we checked the tracker it said it went to a Five Guys on the opposite side of the city where we never been, and skip support crew refused to refund. And just after that, my other roomate checked their account and the address was set to somewhere on the other side of the country. Absolute garbage service and we will be using doordash from now on. Get your $#*! together you useless goofs
They pay around 0.25 to 0.30 cents per km which is terrible, many times we receive an order in which 20 kms drive for $5.50 or $6, if you don't accept the order you're done for the day, there's no more orders. They have way too many drivers and the order range is between 5 to 7 dollars, if customers don't give a tip its not even worth for gas.
Last time I ordered from them I got a coffee but when it came there was no coffee inside. I thought it would be easy to get a refund but It took hours for them to give in. After this experience I've kinda made it a mission to take y'all down. The death of this company will be their poor customer service
