Absolutely 100% Trash. My wife and I ordered food through skip the dishes. We put in the instructions to hand the food to us. We were staying at a hotel. The driver instead dropped our food on the hallway carpet that is muddy and wet. Knocked once and before I had even answered the door the driver was gone. The bag was wet and muddy on the bottom. We contacted Skip The Dishes through their app. Told them what happen. They said they could give me $5.00 in skip credits (order was over 50). We couldn't eat the food because it was wet and had mud on the bottom. All they kept saying is well we can give you a $5.00 credit. We were furious. We even contacted the resturant and they were completely pissed with what had happened, but couldn't replace it because it was driver error. So we went back to Skip The Dishes customer support and told them. They offered 50% in Skip Credits, but that changed 1 minute and instead back to the $5.00 credit. Keep in mind through all this, we talked to what looks like 5 agents over 10 minutes (they kept leaving and coming back). Needless to say we lost $50+ and are still hungry. Never will I ever order with skip again and I have let everyone know what happen. They have essentially robbed us of our money!
Driver stole my order! Support was no help said "to bad" we have no record of your order after I sent them screenshots of the confirmation, driver going the opposition direction then it saying "order cancelled" when I didn't cancel it! I WILL NEVER USE SKIP THE DISHES AGAIN THEY ARE RUDE AND STEAL YOUR MONEY AND FOOD!
Just when you think they can't get any worse, they don't cease to disappoint! The latest my wait time was 21 minutes. It's now going on 90 minutes and I still don't have my order and customer service is a joke.
I'm having difficulty understanding how these guys are still in business.
They started out OK but now they're just failing all over the map. They don't own up to their mistakes and they give them nothing but excuses and are stingy with the Skip credits, if they credit at all. They definitely don't believe in being held accountable for anything.
It took 2 hours and 20 min for our driver to deliver our cold soggy $72 two pizzas. The guy admitted to taking on another delivery where the people didn't come down( apartment I'm guessing). Skip will die fast if this keeps happening to everyone.
I accidentally gave them the wrong address. I ordered and instantly realized my mistake. I changed the address in the "change address bar" when I went to check in my order I noticed the wrong address was still on there. My driver didn't leave yet and was picking up my order, so I contacted customer service who took 7 minutes to get back to me. By the time she contacted me the driver was already on the way. She said it was too late chastised me for my mistake, told me to go pick up my order and got off the chat.
I complained again to another agent who credited me half of my money on my account. I asked her to refund my credit card as I would no longer be using the service she told me that it wasn't possible.
I deleted my app, and I will be using other services for delivery in the future. The company needs to work on their app to make mistakes like this more fixable and have better customer service. They stole $40 from me and it is the last money they will ever see from me.
I ordered at 7:01pm and still have not got my order yet. Went you talk to Customer service They do not do nothing They just tell you to wait until your food comes before they can do anything And the first gentleman I talked Didn't even help you just kept lying about everything
Just had to cancel an order that was an hour and a half late. They kept advising me to hold tight for my order. My experiences with Skip have become increasingly problematic. Door Dashing from now on!
I ordered food and the driver texts me saying he's at a condo across from me and can't find my condo.
I then tell him that's he's at the wrong condo that he needs to come across the street.
Not sure how he got wrong building when it's not my first time ordering and every other time it was gone But anyways. When he finally got here our food was no word of a lie ice cold!
Contacted support and all they could say is 50 % refund!
I'm so upset that my food was terrible cause of the delivery service and that's all you can do for me?
We ended up reordering using DoorDash.
IDE rather pay 2.99 delivery fee to DoorDash and get proper service than skip the dishes@.69 cents delivery for unfair customer service.

Horrible customer service, the currier did not bring the whole service. They deleted the order and they didn't return the money. Customer service closed my chat with them saying this conversation is going nowhere. So, they stole my money. I will never use this app again. Trash app and trash company and trash service
Ordered dinner for me and the kid the driver text said he couldn't find the place said I seen him drive by...told him to back track 2 mins later he goes off line and says the food has been delivered...definitely not to me.he already got paid and tipped and two free meals...we should not have to pay ahead of time
They sent me something that I am allergic to and they refuse to refund me, saying that because I have gotten refunded in the past that they won't send my money back! This is ridiculous! Any advice?
Skip the dish are untrustworthy and unreliable and they don't have a proper customer service. Their drivers are not keen on making sure that they delivered the order.my last 2 orders are not delivered and they promised a refund which I never received. They are liars and steal our money.
Used skip to order lunch from Brown's. The food arrived cold and the driver left it outside without letting me know. Called them to complain...they would not address my issues. Horrible customer service!

The delivery guy dumped my pizza on the porch. They didn't knock, I was clearly home. I didnt get a notification until several minutes later. My pizza was cold cause it was left outside. I'm never using this service again, worst company ever.
Skip used to be my favourite food delivery service. I used to use it, even if I was picking up my own food, and it was ready when I arrived. They now charge a service fee, so there is no reason to preorder food, before I pick it up myself.
Skip's prices used to be cheaper than Door Dash; they use an insulated bag for the food that keeps it hot, and I get notified as they are about to arrive. They also gave me points when I ordered food. It didn't amount to a lot of money, but I liked being rewarded for being a loyal customer.
Skip now charges service fees, and they no longer offer points. Quite often, their drivers aren't using the insulated bags, and they are picking up more than one order, so by the time the food arrives, it's cold. With the increased prices and no rewards, I don't used Skip, unless I'm sick, and don't feel well enough to cook. I used to use it about once a week. Now I go pick up food myself. If all their customers have decreased their orders, like I have, it is going to kill their business.
Payed 43.84 for a delivery waited a hour they delivered to a different address and only got refunded $16.00 the $#*! can you order for 16$ door dash get my business now

This company is absolutely horrible! I have given them so many chances, given them large tips nothing improves after many deliveries.
Here are a few ACTUAL delivery instances:
Food cold and no warmer bag
Late delivery, but put in the system as delivered, then food comes 15 minutes later
Driver randomly calling me (after 45 min wait) stating:"I need your address I don't have it"
Then driver becomes irate because I couldn't believe a delivery person leaves the store without customers address and therefore I was skeptical
Delivered to my neighbors on 3-4 separate occasions, then put in the system as delivered
Tried to call around and/or text to see why it was put in as delivered
(Restaurants also basically once they hand the food over to the drivers...could care less how it arrives or if it arrives let alone time.it arrives)
Food must have been handled carelessly because the sauce containers, and food containers spilled and leaked all over bag, food disheveled, 3 times different restaurants

Dispatch or office rude and disregard complaints multiple occasions
This so called skip the dish lost my order twice. I had to reorder my food. 2 nd time I believe they stole the order and that's why my food was never delivered. Never using skip the dish again. Worst company ever! Or should I call them lost cause
So many issues with Skip the dishes, my last two orders have been atrocious. The first one I watched the driver go around in circles through town going the wrong direction because he/she could not even find the restaurant (Carl's Jr.) which is on a main highway in Spruce Grove. I actually got in my car and beat the driver there to collect my food (after waiting over 30 minutes for delivery that was supposed to be with a 15 minute wait to start with). I imagine that guy is still lost.
Second instance in two weeks, Ordered Subway and got McDonalds delivered. Contacted Skip to report and they refuse to help because "I have had too many refund requests" then the proceeded to tell me they cannot do anything at all then closed the chat! Twice!
I then got back on chat only to be told there is no phone number to call and nobody to help me, no refund etc...
Service is horrible and their chat system is even worse as they will just close the chat at their whim if you ask for what you paid for or a refund. If I didn't know better, I would say they are scammers. I have never received such incredibly inept "service" in my life!
Only silver lining is that I paid by credit card so I am requesting my bank to look into this for me.
Bottom line is their drivers suck and their customer support which is only available through chat is very non-helpful. The only time I have requested refund is because the service was Not Delivered! To me, that absolutely warrants a refund, every time! It is not my fault that their service is so bad that it would ever have to get to that. In addition, I show that I only ever had a few refund with them, I guess that is too much for them to handle. My guess is that they are just so bad at this that refunds for unmet service will ruin them.
Use another service for your food delivery because this one is not worth the headaches!
I never received my order even though the site said it was delivered. I reached out to state this and their reply is I am a complainer and they will not refund my money. Seriously, I am a complainer because your service is bad. I will ensure that I put a hold on payment as Skip is not taking responsibility. Last time I order from them.
