I have emailed countless times to return an item to Silkfred as no where can you get into 'My Account' which they ask you to do before printing label to return item. No one comes back to you to help and also there is no contact telephone number to speak to someone which is very odd. Would not use them again.
I used SilkFred for the first time to buy a pair of boots. I received these boots very quickly. Unfortunately, I needed a replacement, but my issue was dealt with quickly and in no
Time at all I had my new pair!
I will certainly be using them again.

Hannah was absolutely amazing with her quick and prompt responses to any questions I had about the returns policy. Her service was outstanding.
Whilst I couldn't return everything as every seller has different policies, Hannah was super helpful.
Suggestion for future would be to ensure consistent returns policy that would minimise confusion.

The quality is actually better than I expected for the price and I will definitely order again. A few issues with shipping and customer service (although some of the team are great!). The next day shipping wasn't reliable in my case, and the standard shipping took 4 business days. Make sure you are organised if you need things in rush!
I returned £100 worth of dresses to the correct brands address, and a month later I am still waiting for a refund. The proof of return receipt has been sent to the company and I have still not received my refund. You have to wait 3/4 days for a reply to your emails and majority of the time they do not respond. I followed all the instructions for returning my items and they are still not giving me my money back.
I do not know what else I am expected to do, terrible customer service would avoid at all costs.

While the SilkFred responds quickly, that is pretty useless praise, if they
- have no power to act.
- work out-of-hours relative to the suppliers
- don't show any initiative to resolve problems.
WELL IN ADVANCE of my order arriving (because the supplier didn't act on it for over a week; I was in contact after 2 business days!) I told SilkFred that the delivery would now be too late—Royal Mail would land up sending the items back themselves since I am out of the country for the amount of time RM will hold the packages - 14 days.
SilkFred basically did nothing except send an email to supplier asking them for updates in case it was on the way already. Since no dispatch information had yet been received, SF and supplier AND I knew that there was time to act.
The supplier clearly holds no regard for SF or the customer, as the supplier didn't reply promptly or in a helpful way.
Two days passed without any action by SF agent, who only works evenings from 5pm - illogical since the suppliers work day times.
When I prompted SF again, the supplier, MOE, admitted the parcel had not even been prepared, and would only arrive the following week.
Instead using logic to immediately halt the order and issue my refund, they both decided to go against my wishes and pursue the order anyway.
And, to make matters more distasteful, this "original" designer is available through Amazon, and the exact same item is more than £10 cheaper.
So much for Emma Watkins' proposal that SF provides "unique fashion with fun and stress-free service"….
When you purchase from this site and you need to return various items you have to send it back by recorded delivery that you have to pay for and items have to be send to individual stockist at different address. Returning can be costly and a night mare

I knew when ordering through SilkFred and get multiple different deliveries. However, the return policy is based on each individual item, so you have 14 days to notify SilkFred from the delivery date of EACH item, this is not stated on their website. This wouldn't be so much of a problem if they all arrive at similar times, however, my parcels arrived over a space of 2 weeks. So when I requested a return after everything arrived I was not able to do so for most of the products. I have been in touch with customer services and even though I am still within their 46 day send back period they will not allow the return. So if I sent the products back they would be in time, but the only answer I get from customer services is no. I will not be ordering again and will be publicing the awful customer services on every website possible.

I am probably not Silkfred normal customer but I have bought various items from the site with no problems and delivery has been prompt the clothes have been of good quality and prompt delivery. Recently I ordered two items, one arrived the other did not arrive and hence my contact to Customer service. I received a prompt reply and have been given a new delivery date I was informed the seller was in Poland which raised concerns about import taxes vat etc. Another email to customer service and assurance that the goods wer being shipped from the uk so there was no issue over additional costs.
I have been MD of a business for many years and I have to say that the customer service I have encounter at Silkfred is perhaps the best I have ever received.
I would buy with confidence and will continue to.
I can only tell you of my personal experience but to date it has all been good and I am sure the delayed parcel will arrive within the new time scale.
Due to lockdown my parcels unfortunately didn't get delivered as they should. Took me a long time to track them down but Silk Fred were fabulous in keeping me updated. They're here and all items are great! The navy star jog suit is particularly lush.

I'm quite shocked at some reviews as I've had probably 20 dresses over last 3 years and the ones I've sent back (usually as I've ordered 2 different sizes) have been easy to do and refund has always gone in my account no issues. Online customer service great and I love their dresses.
Item ordered was delivered really quickly. Quality was fantastic but sadly didn't suit me Needed to return it but printer broke so emailed to request a returns label. Very speedy response and issue resolved.

My daughter pointed me to this web site and I'm so glad she did. I ordered a shirt and 3 maxi-dresses(for choice) and kept 2 of the dresses as well as the shirt. They're good quality for the price and very stylish. I'm over 60 and am delighted to find such a range of choice... there were plenty of styles to suit all ages. I'll certainly be visiting again!

A fantastic company that offers a broad range of fashion. I have bought dresses, blouses, tops and trousers that are all good quality. I had to return an item simply because it didn't fit and it was handled so quickly. Not many places offer such great customer service these days and it is refreshing.

I have shopped with Silk Fred for many years - as has my daughter. The choice and quality of the clothes is excellent and we cannot fault customer service (especially Leanne). Delivery is fast, communication is friendly and prompt. Returns process is easy and quick if needed. We have many items from Silk Fred and will continue to shop with them. One of my latest purchases is a Gigiland Red Boho maxi dress and I love it. It makes me feel good without me even trying. The jeans were my very first purchase - Jovonna London YoYo flared jeans a number of years ago and are worn regularly and I love them too (I loved them so much I also bought them in the grey). Would recommend to anyone - I'm 75 and my daughter is 42. We both wear a lot of Silk Fred clothes and they always brighten up our day.

Great website - had to return some items, sent a few email queries to the Customer Service Team about refunds and Kara/Ruth and the team were really good at coming back to my questions - really quick efficient response. Lovely quality clothes but makes a real difference when the customer service is as good, especially if you are tracing a return/refund.
