SCAM!

I bought a beautiful wedding dress from this website, when it arrive, it wasn't even the same dress, the sizes were wrong even tho I wrote them down and paid an extra £15! They offered to pay for the resizing of it and 8% refund but when I tried replying to the emails, it would not send surprise syprise. They're website is no longer available too! Not happy!

Please do not buy from this web site there a scam I bought my wedding dress from here when I received it it didn't fit at all was way too small even tho I gave them the right sizes, there was no returns address they just kept offering me 8% if my money back they won't let you send it back offered to make another one but wanted me to pay again so please they are a scam donor order from them the should be shut down

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP

Disgusting customer service, there T&CS say refund offered if dress isn't correct but when we sent them picture of how bad the dress was and how much it doesn't fit, they offered us an 8% refund of a 90 dress! Please save yourself the hassle and do not buy from here.

Absolutely disgusting service dress didn't fit poor quality... only offered 8 % refund when I wanted to return dress for bigger size... also they wanted more money for another dress to be sent... very disappointed would not recommend this company to anyone should be closed down.

Green bridesmaid dress ordered to receive a PINK one! Then they would not exchange to the correct dress unless I paid 70% of the dress cost again, it was their fault I had the wrong dress! Total scam! They should be shut down!

Warning! Do not order from this sight!
I ordered a dress for my sons wedding. To begin with it arrived squashed in a plastic bag no tissue or decent packaging. That was a warning sign. The fabric and materials used to make the dress were very poor quality and the finish was very very poor.
The dress cost £135 and they are only offering 8percent as a refund and they say I can keep the dress. This is a scam firm don't be taken in like me.
Avoid at all costs.

I ordered 6 bridesmaids dresses for my wedding last year in various sizes. Not one of them fitted, they were too long, too slim and not what I ordered. After many emails back and forth to "Linda" they offered me a 8% refund as long as I sent pictures of all 6 dresses. I sent 3 pictures (as they live all over the country) and was offered 4%. They refused to give me a returns address and all communication went silent from them.

As I said there is hope. I went to my bank and requested a charge back on my account for the sum of the dresses. As long as you can prove that you've asked for a refund, that's it's a reasonable excuse for the refund and that they're basically refusing you the refund or to return the package (i. E. No returns address) then you should get your money back. If you used a credit card, even better, as your credit card provider has your transactions automatically insured for occasions like this.

I wish Linda the best of luck against the banks!

Ordered the dress days before I read the comments about the site. Despite the majority of reviews being negative, the dress I received in the post was simply identical to what I had ordered. My nerves were in shreds for the three weeks it took for my package to arrived but needless to say I was 100% satisfied. Dress was superb quality and only needed minor alterations. Very true to size. Honestly was SO worth the risk in the end, despite me being very anxious waiting for it to come. Really really worth taking the chance, although I am aware some people were just very unlucky..

Disgraceful

If I could chooses minus stars I would. I ordered an evening gown in a size 16 in good faith. It said it was a UK website and from the UK. When the dress was delivered (that cost 120) the address it was delivered from was from Singapore. The site has no telephone number to contact. With more research it leads to a woman in a house in Singapore named Linda. The dress was merely a size 8. I had two girls who are size 8 s to try it on and the seams were nearly ripping. The zip barely went up. I had a solicitor email and the reply's were beyond rude. She wanted pictures of the dress on to see where it didn't fit and said that they do not offer refunds to pay in full again for another dress. Please please please do not order from this site it is nothing but bad news and from the other reviews I've read since I am so sad that I trusted this site to deliver. Also the quality is poor and whoever makes these dresses is clearly not a professional but a con artist

Fantastic quality

I was in two minds when I saw the dress I had been looking for in the shops on the website, I took a risk, but it was worth every penny. Excellent service, and the quality of the lace fabric and tailoring was no less than a dress from House of Fraser or similar standard. I only wish I could upload a photo. I will be ordering again. I got so many compliments on the dress st the wedding, I felt great.

Bought dress and needed to return it - thats when the problem started - they would not give me their address but I found out their address and returned it So they have the dress plus my money - please dont deal with this firm. PS offered me £15 for the dress.

I ordered 2 (different) dresses, and paid for both, following day I received an email confirming I wanted 2. I said yes.
3 weeks later I received one. I emailed asking whether the second was in it's way. I had a reply saying... do you still want the second dress? I said YES YES YES hence I ordered and paid for two and confirmed with you! The wedding party was in 5 days as obviously I was not able to have the second one done in time. In addition the first dress was just terrible, awful quality and just the worst. They would not engage in any useful sutomer service and 2 months later im still waiting for my refund which I am afraid to say don't think will ever come. The only way to contact them is via email and there are no other details. I don't know what to do other than warn people and NEVER ISE THEM AGAIN.

I ordered a royal blue dress http://www.shillas.co.uk/shillas-*******.html which in the end did not fit well nor was the fabric what I expected. It came literally in a plastic bag without a nice packaging or anything. For 80£ expect more. They also didn't send through the jacket that I had ordered with it. After Countless emails showing the dress they still refused to give me any sort of refund. Please don't buy on this site. Check he returns page it is full of grammar errors that you wouldn't expect on a decent website and shop.

I ordered a dress for my daughter's year 11 prom. She wears a size 10 so I ordered a size 10 expecting a well fitted dress. Instead I got a tight fitting dress that was not like what they had described. When I asked for a refund I got offered an 8% refund only if I took pictures of the dress on my daughter and emailed it to them! After countless emails asking for a full refund or a reimbursement for the tailoring fee for the alteration of the dress I finally agreed to a 12% refund cost which tbh doesn't even cover the delivery cost (£20). I even asked for an exchange for the dress. It has been over three weeks since I agreed to the 12% refund and I am yet to receive any sort of refund. Everything the website says is false and the whole site is a scam trap waiting to happen. Customer service is non existent, the website has a contact number you can call however the number doesn't even go through let alone allows you to voice your concern.

Absolutely disgusted with the effortless customer service and the lack of communication. I ordered a dress for my Summer Ball event that was too small a fit, requested a refund and a returns label profusely, only for a woman called Linda to illegally request indecent photos of me attempting to try on a dress that does not fit. Nowhere does it say on their Exchange and Returns policies that this is the case, therefore I had threatened to take legal action and they responded with one sentence; asking for photographs. Vile "company", more like thieves.

I am are just another customer who has been scammed by this company. The gown was too small and when my daughter e-mailed for a returns label they wanted to see photographic evidence! Nowhere in their returns policy was that stated nor a data protection policy provided stating any photo sent would be destroyed! The Shillas company is very unscrupulous who knows what they would do with the photo!. They are in the business of ripping women off PLEASE DO NOT BUY from these people. They need to be shut down! DISGUSTING.

Bought a prom dress for my daughter, as with most others the dress was vile in every way, did not realise it was not uk based & unfortunately came across reviews after the event, after a week of pointless e mails requesting a full refund & a delivery address to return I contacted my bank, I had paid by debit card & raised a visa dispute through them, sent the trail of e mails I had to NatWest proving I had done everything I could to obtain a refund, pictures to prove the dress I thought we'd ordered & the dress on my daughter, totally not fit for purpose, screen shot of their returns policy showing if there are any issues they will offer a full refund, the bank refunded my money temporarily which I assumed they think I have a case to receive the monies back in full with the information I had provided to them, that was a couple of months ago & I've heard nothing since. Worth a try for the sake of forwarding on a trail of e mails.
