Every time I order from this website I tell myself that maybe next time it will be better. But it never gets better.
First of all, I never know which size would fit me. Regardless if I order from American or European site, I'm always size S. But with Asian sites its always a gamble.
Secondly, I never know when to expect my order. Sometimes it comes relatively fast (2 weeks) and sometimes it can take up to a month.
Thirdly, the quality is terrible especially since its not as cheap as it used to be (since the dollar has risen but they didn't reduce their prices).
Finally, the most recent thing that pissed me off is when they sent me a coupon code for -45%. Initially I thought it was a nice gesture and very thoughtful of them. I immediately started browsing and chose a couple of things but when I got to the cart and filled in the coupon code, the website told me that my order has to be above 30$ to use it. I went back, spent another half an hour thinking of something to add to my cart. Finally I had an order worth 38$, filled in the coupon code and got final price 34$ instead of the expected 21$.
It turned out that the coupon code makes a discount only on the original price of the item and not on the sale price. Which doesn't even make any sense, since all items on this website are with sale price. Also I specifically looked through my email for any disclaimers and nowhere it was mentioned that my order has to be above 30$ nor that the discount is on the initial price.
During this pandemic I expected delays. I was ready and patient for a month before I got in contact with customer service. I ordered my items on April 29th, it got into the US on the 10th of May and has since sat in whatever a "local courier facility" is. I contacted them once and they told me they weren't able to track anything anymore or help me. On the 28th of May, I contacted them for a second time. They then GUARANTEED it would be here by the 4th of June, over a month later. Well, the 4th of June has passed and I still have not gotten my $#*!. Unacceptable and the customer service is not responding to me. This has put me off ever shopping here again.

I ordered from Shein for the first time. It was the ONLY purchase made on my card for the last 2 months. I received my order and immediately found fraud on my bank account TWICE which can only mean that Shein did NOT PROTECT my personal information. Contacting customer service yielded NO RESULTS. Absolutely avoid! I have been trying to exchange items for a different size and it has been a horrendous experience. First they asked me to pay $20 via Paypal for the exchange which I did. After not receiving the items that I was supposed I inquired multiple times about what was happening. Every time you email them its a different person that replies that seemingly knows nothing about your order. I had to re-explain myself multiple times. I even received an email from them saying I was being refunded but not stating for what or what amount. I had never even requested a refund but it didn't seem to matter because despite this email I never received a refund anyways. Eventually I was told that one of the items I wanted to exchange was out of stock. At this point they still had my $20 for the exchange and nothing had been done (this is two months later by the way). Interestingly enough after writing a poor review of them on another site they almost immediately responded saying that my 3 items were "being prepared"... not too sure how this is possible since I was already told one item was out of stock so an exchange was no longer possible... currently still trying to resolve this mess.

FUTURE BUYER BEWARE! I would give them zero stars if I could, $#*!ty company with crappy cheap clothes. You will get what you paid for, basically cheap China crap they try to sell to you, and steal stock photos of items from other company's websites, even though the item looks nothing like the picture. Don't even rely on the reviews on the website because most of them are only up there if your review is approved by them, aka if they don't like your honest review they won't approve your review so no one can see it. I got a pair of shorts that were horribly cheap/ made and mention it was too big with one star in my review, and they declined my review because it wasn't five stars. Scam. Scam company. Just overall scam. NEVER SHOPPING THERE AGIAN. Crappy $#*! company!

Bull sh*t... I ordered a gift from here for my gf and paid for faste rshipping and everything... come back a few days later and it says i didn't pay even though I did... I email them... they NEVER answer. I open the chat system and talk to a nice lady named vivian but as soon as I give her my transaction ID to confirm that I did in fact pay, she claims the syatems are down... OK. Now I am waiting for an email confirming my transaction but I am skeptical and thik I may need to pursue the chat system again soon. Also the chat system offered nothing to me for my grievances persay. No free shipping or faster shipping so the item, if ever sent, will not arrive in time for my girlfriend's birthday. Shein has great clothes but I ordered a dress labeled priority processing on March 26th. I needed it for May 2nd so I didn't really care that it told me I'd still have to wait 17 business days but on April 2nd, I received an email telling me there would be a 3-5 day delay in processing and they'd contact me about it in 5 days. I contacted them 5 days later.
It is April 27th and I still have no dress. The tracking information is not helpful in the slightest and is rarely updated. The representatives just keep telling me about more and more delays. Just yesterday they told me it would be another 10 days until they either reprocess my order, refund me, or resend the order.
Will NEVER order from Shein again.
Update: the package arrived on May 3rd. Good thing I needed it on the 2nd!

I was attracted to this clothing site because the clothes were cute and the prices were fantastic. I made my purchases with my PayPal account and not directly using my credit card which was a good idea cause you can dispute charges on PayPal.
After I paid, I logged on to my PayPal account to see if my transaction was correct and was surprised to find out that the company contact info is listed with an address and phone number in China. The website clearly list a California contact location. I immediately disputed my transaction on PayPal resolution center. Luckily, the company agreed to refund my money in a manner of a few days. I made sure I received my refund before posting.
I am reading all the negative reviews on this site and I can see everyone's frustration regarding delivery time and company's customer service. Well now you all know why this is happening. In addition, I noticed that for every negative review there are multiple positive FAKE reviews posted after to boost the stars again.
So be warned and learn from my experience. If you still want to purchase from this company make sure to use PayPal account so that you are protected. But if I were you, you are better of with a trusted US company name. Good luck!

I got my items in the mail they were all great but I didn't realize that I had ordered a year ago from the same company. The same thing happened to me as before except last time it took 2 months to get only half the items I ordered came and BOTH TIMES my credit card was used in a Asian country for $300+ in other items. This time it was for a bus ticket to Singapore for almost $400. The is the only times I have had related charges so I KNOW for a fact it's this company! It's a shame because the items they have are cute but I will be reporting them to Instagram who supports and advertises there awful service. Answer: It is a hit and miss. Some items are OK but others are made by them recreating clothes from other companies and the fabrics are literally table cloths of worse. It is best to look at the photos of clothing posted by the users themselves and not she inside. I wouldn't purchase anything they add themselves. Also, to let you know how long it takes. I ordered a few items on April 15th via express shipping and they still haven't shipped them. It is JUNE! So I would save your money and shop at other sites even if they're a bit more expensive.

I got my clothes in a good period of time and sure some of the clothes didn't fit the way I needed them too but that's the risk you take buying online without trying something on. I found the clothes to be a good quality. I would compare the quality of items I received to be similar to that of like forever 21 or urban planet. No where is going to be perfect and you have to use your discretion when purchasing something. Obviously you're not going to get this intricate beautifully crafted A+++ quality item for like $13, but I would say the quality was better than I had expected given the pricing.
