I made the mistake of trying the Same Day Unlimited free trial just before Christmas 2022. I did not cancel in time and was charged for the year and they do not let you get a refund. This is my bad and so were some of the reasons I found out the hard way that the Same Day Unlimited is not that helpful. I am in a metro area and near an even larger metro area, so I don't think I should see too many issues on availability, but I did.You need to make sure you clicked on the Same Day shipping option while adding each item to your cart. After an order arrived later than I expected, I realized this. So next time I tried to use this feature and I clicked the option, I found that almost all items I needed were not available for Same Day shipping. So it is cumbersome to use and not as useful as you would think. I think I'll keep my fee for using on the 6.95 fee the few times they area available to get that fast.
... they don't care about their customers. I was sent the wrong order and the guy on the phone seemed not to believe me & said that they will be doing an investigation only after saying it wasn't possible (wrong order). Since they messed up so many times, I went from a Rouge to not buying at all. A company which does not appreciate the customers does not need business.
I have received defective items twice from here and they send a replacement asap. They also have a great selection however I wish they would add more drugstore lines as well. They are not as big as Ulta but if you limit yourself to higher end brands, this is your mecca.
With the greatest thing ever Flash free shipping for $10-$15 per year you can order many smaller orders and stock up on some good sized freebies. I wish everyone had free shipping programs!
You can find practically any brand at Sephora! I had worn the same makeup for years until switching!
I have never been an avid shopper at sephora (the brands they carry are typically too pricey for my tastes); however I must praise them for their quality goods and ESPECIALLY for their wonderful staff. They always do a great job to make sure you're taken care of and their make-overs are wonderful. I had my eye make-up done (to test for prom) and it looked wonderful. They woman explained the process very well and she did an excellent job of taking my soft, natural style and making it a little more dramatic for a special occasion. When in doubt, try it out!
Best make up store! Very reasonable prices. I have never ordered online before until the other day. I received my order today and got free samples! The closest sephora to me is 45 minutes away. I didn't have to waste any gas ordering online.
Twice this month I waited for a package that never arrived on the date the tracking number specified it would. Something new through lasership? N when you call sephora customer service they have no explanation even though they verifies that the package still said "out for delivery" on a date that passed already. I will no longer purchase from sephora website. I find ulta to be bit more accurate when it comes to shipping.
My recent experience ordering from Sephora has been beyond disappointing. In the past, Sephora used either UPS or USPS, but now they are using OnTrac, and, as a shipper, they have a terrible track record. When I tracker my two orders, it was "claimed" that they were out for delivery. Then they were sent back to Sephora. What?! I used to receive my orders in 3-4 days. I am not sure that I will continue to do business with Sephora.
I must also add that in the past couple of years, returning an item without a receipt is verboten! They are like the Gestapo, I hardly ever make returns to ANY store, but Sephora customer service stinks. I was treated like a leper when I tried to return an item.
Honestly, Sephora never lets me down. When I have the feeling that I need to treat myself I jus open their website and make myself a micro shopping day, And it feels amazing. Thank you for doing a great job.
I was looking forward to the Christmas gifts I had ordered from their website only to get an email that my order was cancelled. I use my debit card for other major company online purchases and never ever have an issue conforming my billing address! The address I provide is where I live and that's where I want my order shipped as well. They treat you like a card fraud and I work at a bank. Then the customer service rep tells me to contact my financial institution. I then asked for my refund and she told me it would take 1-7 days. It's been three days since the email and we will see if I even get a refund on time. If not hell hath fury on Sephora.
Omg I love this store. Only great things, honestly. I really love the reward points you get (1 dollar spent is 1 point, you can redeem points for gifts they rotate out like every week). I guess its kinda funny that their reward program totally beats my credit card reward one, but oh well. Sephora is the only place I would use for cosmetics!
Just had an awful experience with customer service regarding my online order that was shipped to my old address. The customer service rep I spoke to as well as her manager who never made it on the phone, did not care much about keeping customers happy. I was told I'd have to wait another week for my order, that was sent to the wrong address to begin with. When I asked to have it shipped via 1 day shipping, somehow that takes 3 days, plus I would have to pay for overnight shipping. That is ridiculous and not what a pissed off customer wants to hear. Waiting 2 weeks for an order, and not even being told that is returned to you was not bad enough I guess to get me my stuff in time or in the next day or two. The points that the manager added to my account for the inconvenience mean nothing, since this experience left me very unhappy and willing to shop elsewhere. Much improvement needed in customer services.
Whoever designed Sephora.com is an absolute genius. The website is clearly labeled, structurally efficient, accessible, and stylish, too.
Product descriptions are informative, product search is simple and very well compartmentalized, and you don't find any annoying ads littered all over the page. And they offer great samples, deals, and bonuses!
I love ordering from sephora, they give you free samples and the delivery is really fast I usually get it within 3 days, 4 days max but usually within 3 of placing my order. I love ordering from their website when I cannot make it to the store. There are a lot of selections on line, only thing is you can't try them on so it's kind of like a blind buy but you can return the item(s) you don't like in store or ship it back I believe. I've only return 1 item because the shade did not match me and I just went to their store with my receipt and they took the return.
Site is easy to navigate, great deals all the time. I also love the samples. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are coming up and I cant wait to see what they have planned for that. The ultimate place for everyone who loves beauty.
I love Sephora. It is such a lovely shop that always has what I need. I love their online store even more because the availability of brands is oh so much greater and they have something for every type of makeup lover. I personally am after natural products such as Tarte and love that I can find all Tarte goodies in sephora stores!
I purchased a lip liner pencil in April and it was defective. I was unable to return/exchange the pencil until today due to surgery and not feeling well. Because it's been over 3 months, they would not exchange the defective pencil. I asked to talk to management who would not rectify the problem even after explaining the mitigating circumstances. I called the corporate office, and after speaking to two managers and explaining my situation, they too told me they could do nothing because it was after the 60 days. I will never by a product from Sephora again, unfortunately the salespeople and management at Sephora don't care.
I enjoy their assortment and shipping efficiency, always easy for me to get everything I need. The customer service is top notch, I saw many negative comments about their customer service here, maybe Ive been just getting lucky lol
I find great values on their Sale page, and in combination with meeting the free shipping minimum at $50, the choice of free deluxe sample at $25 and three small samples with every purchase, the overall value is excellent. They even have their own rewards program.
They have a seriously delayed shipping time. I ordered online a week ago (only three things) and it STILL hasn't shipped. I could have gone to the store had I known this. Now I'm left without supplies. Frustrated and pissed off and won't be ordering online from Sephora again. Going to ULTA from now on.
Answer: There are a ton of great moisturizing and anti-aging products out there to help you. Sephora has so many that your head will spin, but there are also a lot of drugstore alternatives that are rated just as highly (or better) than a lot of higher-end ones. I would do some research online before ever stepping foot into a store like Sephora (trust me - they will bombard you with very expensive things you don't need). Honestly, I really like Ulta as a store better than Sephora because they carry both drugstore, middle-end, and higher-end products. (MUCH better service, too) But before you go anywhere, Google things like "best anti-aging products for mature skin" or things like that. Using multiple products, such as a glycolic toner, a serum, as well as a moisturizer is a good idea. One thing that is FANTASTIC for wrinkles and dark spots is Retin-A, but you have to get a prescription for it and it is harsh on your skin (especially if you're sensitive). It literally kills off your top layer of skin (which leads to a very annoying period of your face peeling for a few weeks), but once you get over the growing pains, your skin is amazing. I was diagnosed with melasma, which is hyperpigmentation of the skin, on my face, so my doctor gave me Retin-A and hydroquinone, which really works at fading dark spots. If you can't afford the Retin-A (mine is over $200 a tube), there are a lot of great OTC products that contain retinol and work well, just not like the Rx version. Neutrogena has a great line of products for dark spots and wrinkles. But like I said, do your research and don't let sales reps push you into really expensive products, because they get a commission, and you may get stuck with a bad product and an empty wallet. Hope this helps!
Answer: This is Sephora's list of current promo codes. They should always be valid - whether you get them to actually give you what they're supposed to is always a gamble. To get a birthday promo, you have to join their Beauty Insiders club. It's free - just go to their website.
Answer: Yes. I have to take Care of my skin in every routine when my acne appears
Answer: Yes! They have a VERY liberal return policy. You can try most products in store, as well. But, if you do buy something that you don't agree with, for any reason, don't worry. They exchange easily. I always use Sephora.com... never have had a problem returning for any reason whatsoever.
Sephora has a rating of 2.6 stars from 555 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Sephora most frequently mention customer service, gift card and next day. Sephora ranks 706th among Cosmetics sites.
