Another scam by G2 Crowd which does not fulfill their claims to pay for people's efforts for their opinions, surveys and views. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

  • Sephora

I have received defective items twice from here and they send a replacement asap. They also have a great selection however I wish they would add more drugstore lines as well. They are not as big as Ulta but if you limit yourself to higher end brands, this is your mecca.

Whether you want a drugstore brand and a high end companion, you can find what you need here and use discount codes, ebates and gain free stuff. They have the biggest selection on the planet and usually at the best price going. They also have a few exclusives. I like shopping here because in store, I can test out whatever I want to, get samples and make sure I am getting what I really need. Kind of like Sephora but they do not require you to limit yourself to higher end brands only. Hair, bath and body, skin and makeup and fragrances on every degree on all price ranges plus a lot of BOGOs keep it fun and thrifty.

  • Wish

Wish is a sort of ebay with "buy it now" only. It's all Asian sellers so I would not recommend buying any name brands, because there is not a true name brand item on the site. There are around 100 sellers, all selling under around 100 store names each. READ THE REVIEWS FOR ACCURATE REVIEWS. You cannot leave a review unless you have actually bought the product. That is a plus. I have gotten a lot of really nice accessories, makeup stuff and tops from this site. Again it's hit or miss. My fave leggings lasted 2 years and they were $8. My fave headband is eons old and it was $1. My least fave dress was $16 and it fell apart on the inside of a month. Hit or miss. If you shop carefully, you will get good deals. Remember that Asian sizing is what it is, so look at the measurement charts. I'm a size 6/8 and wear an Asian 2XL. Sometimes a 3XL. Any larger than this, you're sized out. Sweaters turn out to be tee shirts with a picture of sweater knitting. Again, read the reviews. But for the most part, I get things way cheaper and shipped right to my house this way versus hitting the dollar store.

Combining ebates with coupon codes is the best way for me to use this site. I have always received perfect items and fast. The only time I received a broken bottle, I was credited the amount and was able to get my replacement fast enough. It's owned by Victoria's Secret so the scents are similar in tone. I love the retired favorites collections. I definitely recommend giving them a try.

  • Amazon

Amazon has decent prices for Prime members and if you can't locate something specific in your town, Amazon is easy. Unfortunately, too many fakes have taken over. I ended up with a knockoff Kylie lip gloss that caused a rash, knockoff vitamins and a supplement I bought there gave me an allergic reaction. Turned out it was sawdust mixed with something called "white cut." (I know a lab tech in FL, sent her a pill to test for me.) There are more Chinese knockoffs on there than not for everything including top name brand stuff. I ended up with a shampoo "sold by" a regular shelf brand here but ended up with a really weird knockoff -packaging and all. Amazon has started putting all products of the same labeling into one big bin. If you buy Olay face cream, you may end up with one by Olay or one of the infamous knockoffs -regardless of who you bought it from and what you paid. It's called "big boxing." Shop with caution.

They advertised a 40% off coupon code which adjusted the amount in my cart accurately and correctly, yet I was charged the full and entire amount. I'm not the only victim according to my research. Second, the majority of their clothing is not described accurately as far as measurements, sizing, materials, fabric and so on. I have several friends who sent them high end, new designer items only to be told they weren't appropriate for the website, and they turned up on their site months later. I ignored my friends' complaints against my better judgment and made a purchase from the site. Unfortunately, I was scammed and charged the full amount though my cart showed the discount per the code. I would HIGHLY recommend shopping at Savers, Salvation Army, Goodwill or any other thrift shop versus this website.
