I have ordered many products. My last order only 3 of the 4 items arrived. I emailed over 20 times to sort out this issue. I finally receive an email stating i will receive a gift card in lieu of the missing item. Nothing arrives nor any further contact. I continually email with various consultants from customer service responding but not helping. Why would i ever order from Sephora.mx again!
Honestly I loved Sephora until recently. They have makeup brand other stores don't never had any big problems until I needed to return something. I got the proactiv md treatment as I am pregnant and breaking out. I wanted to make sure these products were safe with my ob before applying. She said she would prefer I not use so I went to return. I was told the return policy is only THIRTY DAYS. That is freaking pitiful. Other places have a much more understanding return policy. Can even try it out before returning. They acted like my return was such a big inconvenience and then said oh well there is nothing we can do. I am saying goodbye to Sephora forever.
While Sephora does have some of the best and newest beauty products and are great with samples, their customer service is horrendous! They have "beauty advisors" handle complaints many of them (online) are just customers with access to their computer systems. I can honestly say I have never had a good experience with cs! And to add insult to injury, the shipping is just as bad! They'll blame delays on natural disasters or Covid but it's been this way since I discovered them years ago.
Bought the naked 2 palette which came out of a closed drawer, opened it one hour later and multiple eyeshadows are broken. Went back to the store and they didn't believe that it was already broken and started laughing at me when I explained and started gossiping. Showed them the receipts. Horrible service. Payed 50 euros for nothing.
I am a "rouge" level customer of Sephora and recently encountered a problem with a $20 eyeliner they sell. The in-store manager refused to provide an exchange due to my purchase greater than 60 days ago. I just opened this eyeliner in the past month, very little product was used. Deplorable customer service!
I was greeted by a Sup! What's going on?! It seemed very sarcastic as though the customer service representative purposely raised his voice to mock me! I told him how I wanted to return so Gucci lipstick and he thought he put me on mute and said "We love broken lipstick". Once again he said this very sarcastically. He then tried to apologize but was once again very sarcastic! I asked for his name which he responded Charles in a British accent, when his native tongue was Canadian. I have already filed numerous complaints to Sephora! But I would advise anyone to never call customer service!
The worst service ever. Would give them no stars but google review would not allow. Don't ever buy online with these People. I bought some stuff on 5th Oct and I talked them 4-5 times they didn't resolve my problem now today 25th Oct I still talk with them they still stick with same bull$#*! no process going on and either not refund my money as well I will never gonna buy anything from them and not prefer to anyone. They are making customer fool to give a stupid reasons. The surprising thing is that in 20 days they haven't been touch with their courier this makes me more angry. What kind of service is that. A big multinational company and they treat their loyal customers like this. They should be ashamed. We are currently taking this further to fair trading. I am really very disappointed with their service and even I bought before as well never happened like this with me I don't know why they doing this
Sephora is my go-to destination for all things beauty. The store offers a vast selection of makeup, skincare, haircare, and fragrance products from top brands, as well as exclusive Sephora collections. I appreciate the knowledgeable staff who are always available to offer personalized recommendations and advice. The rewards program offers additional savings and perks for frequent shoppers.
Sephora has truly earned its reputation as a beauty haven, and my recent experience shopping there was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I entered the store, I was greeted by an array of enticing beauty products that immediately piqued my interest. What I appreciate most about Sephora is their commitment to offering a wide range of brands and products. Whether you're a makeup enthusiast, skincare aficionado, or fragrance lover, Sephora has something for everyone. It's like stepping into a treasure trove of beauty possibilities.
KAJA beauty is one of those brands that should definitely have more hype. As far as I know it's one of those Korean brands that's only sold at Sephora. I've only personally tried their don't settle concealer, and I can honestly say that it quickly became my all time favorite concealer. It's creamy, doesn't dry weird, brightens up, and lasts the entire day. I can see such a difference after putting it on. I can only imagine how well their other products must work.
I've always had such good experiences with Sephora and just wanted to take a minute to leave a good review. We always remember to leave bad reviews when companies don't meet our expectations, but sometimes it's hard to remember to praise the ones that are doing their jobs well.
Sephora's customer service has always stood out to me as super helpful. I do spend a ton of money here because I know I can trust them as a company. (When they send you the wrong product or a faulty product the rare time, they happily rectify it, and do so quickly so the customer can get on with their day. As a busy person, I appreciate this so much).
I also love that they give points, samples, and birthday gifts. The odd time my free samples don't arrive with my package, and when I message them about it, they'll give me points.
Lastly, their website is super user-friendly, and their payment process is seamless!
Thanks for being awesome, Sephora.
My girlfriend's birthday is in a few days and I decided to buy her a present at Sephora. You know, I wanted it to be something special. Eventually, I got her a bottle of some expensive perfumes from Chanel. I ordered it online because there ain't any shop nearby - I was a little worried if the glass won't break. But everything was nicely packed. Well done, Sephora!
Giving 4 stars because I was hoping for some freebies. The purchase was not cheap and there was nothing added to my package...
I'd shop here if they gave two $#*!s about their customers! My account has been having unknown issues, it cancels my order after 20 minutes, it has 20 times in a row now. It was supposed to be fixed multiple times now but still isn't. I finally gave up and went to the manufacture website for the items I was out of. It's a $500 but that must not be enough for them to care because first it was supposed to be fixed within 24-48 hours and it's going on 92, I've contacted more people and it still isn't fixed. I thought maybe spending close to tens of thousands of dollars with them annually, might help but I was obviously wrong and I'm over it... until they contact my and make it right, I'm not ordered online there again!
Awesome! They have all the brands you could ever hope for, reasonable prices, and very organized site. Forget buying cosmetics anywhere else, this is a definite one-stop shop. My daughter introduced me to it, and I have never turned back!
I've never had a problem with these folks--free shipping >$50, great (though not perfect) selection, dynamite samples that help me select new products (or rule them out). The website is clean, intuitive, and easy to use: top marks! Better than their brick-and-mortar stores, which are a long drive for me, always mobbed, and poorly lighted. I spend more of my online dollars here than anywhere else. They also have great guy stuff, including shaving products.
So let's get straight into this.
Pros of online shopping: Not having to deal with rude employees, quick, easy, and better selection.
Cons: Not able to actually test/ sample certain products.
Overall, I love the store itself but sometimes they really need to work on getting a better staff. I have had a lot of bad experiences personally at my few local stores.
Love getting the boxes with goodies and new products to try. Totally worth it! I think they are better than Birchbox or allure. Dermstore has a super nice box too, with brands Sephora does not carry, but box is more expensive.
I've used Sephora for the majority of my adult life, so over a decade. They have all your beauty essentials and the best return policy I've ever heard of. Their Shipping is fast.
Recently their customer store line has become impossible to reach though. Whether you contact them via phone or email it takes forever to get in touch with them which sticks when you've got a missing package.
Sephora is my all time favorite place to purchase makeup because there's basically no risk. I've placed dozens of orders. If I ever am dissatisfied with an item I can always get a full refund or exchange easily & quickly. Highly recommend sephora over all the other major retailers.
I am sorry people have had a bad time with Sephora. I buy EVERYTHING on line and often return to the store. No hassles, no questions asked. One time a shipment did not show up and they replaced the whole thing at no cost to me. Their production selection is out of this world and if you pay the $15 a year "free shipping" subscription it pays for itself in 3 purchases or be a Rouge Member, free shipping there. Awesome perks with points and again the products are outstanding. Website offers plenty of answers and helpful advice. I hope my luck continues with them as there are so many bad reviews on customer service. I highly recommend.
Answer: There are a ton of great moisturizing and anti-aging products out there to help you. Sephora has so many that your head will spin, but there are also a lot of drugstore alternatives that are rated just as highly (or better) than a lot of higher-end ones. I would do some research online before ever stepping foot into a store like Sephora (trust me - they will bombard you with very expensive things you don't need). Honestly, I really like Ulta as a store better than Sephora because they carry both drugstore, middle-end, and higher-end products. (MUCH better service, too) But before you go anywhere, Google things like "best anti-aging products for mature skin" or things like that. Using multiple products, such as a glycolic toner, a serum, as well as a moisturizer is a good idea. One thing that is FANTASTIC for wrinkles and dark spots is Retin-A, but you have to get a prescription for it and it is harsh on your skin (especially if you're sensitive). It literally kills off your top layer of skin (which leads to a very annoying period of your face peeling for a few weeks), but once you get over the growing pains, your skin is amazing. I was diagnosed with melasma, which is hyperpigmentation of the skin, on my face, so my doctor gave me Retin-A and hydroquinone, which really works at fading dark spots. If you can't afford the Retin-A (mine is over $200 a tube), there are a lot of great OTC products that contain retinol and work well, just not like the Rx version. Neutrogena has a great line of products for dark spots and wrinkles. But like I said, do your research and don't let sales reps push you into really expensive products, because they get a commission, and you may get stuck with a bad product and an empty wallet. Hope this helps!
Answer: This is Sephora's list of current promo codes. They should always be valid - whether you get them to actually give you what they're supposed to is always a gamble. To get a birthday promo, you have to join their Beauty Insiders club. It's free - just go to their website.
Answer: Yes. I have to take Care of my skin in every routine when my acne appears
Answer: Yes! They have a VERY liberal return policy. You can try most products in store, as well. But, if you do buy something that you don't agree with, for any reason, don't worry. They exchange easily. I always use Sephora.com... never have had a problem returning for any reason whatsoever.
Sephora has a rating of 2.6 stars from 555 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Sephora most frequently mention customer service, gift card and next day. Sephora ranks 706th among Cosmetics sites.
