Booked my item in for pick up on the 1st of September, its still sitting here eith me and its the 5th of September, communication is absolutely horrible and the service is worse! Would not recommend using this horrible company. Only point of contact is email which they obviously dont monitor everyday. I've gotten 1 email responds..
Parcel marked as delivered on a day I was home all day - definitely not delivered! Lodged a missing parcel query online as its very difficult to speak to anyone. Simply told 'Driver confirms delivery'. No help at all and no responsibility taken to provide evidence of delivery because the drivers are outsourced. Impossible to escalate. No idea who the actual courier was. Nightmare experience.
I've been a sendle customer for 3 years now and it is amazing. I use it to ship for my small business and the prices can't be beat, the shipping time is fast, and they are great at giving updates. I will continue to use it because it's overall a great website.
My delivery was clearly marked "signature required" and my $500. Item was left openly on my doorstep for someone to steal. No phone contact available and after lengthy delay on a chat system could provide no information but a useless apology. Would strongly NOT recommend.
Used Sendle many times, most often the cheapest way to send small stuff as a private user. When booking, Just watch the pickup location, had a parcel automatically nominated to the nearest drop off, but was too heavy for the drop off location and need to be picked up from me.
Thanks for sharing this feedback, Adam. Yes, drop-off locations can accept any parcels up to Sendle's 'Carry-on' size (that's up to 10kg and 40L). Additionally, the longest side of any parcel cannot be bigger than 96cm. It is always best to call them up in advance as it also depends on their store's capacity whether they'll accept any more packages for drop off. More details about our drop off service here: https://support.sendle.com/hc/en-au/articles/360019116031-Sendle-drop-off-explained.
The most staggeringly inefficient company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I had a parcel ready for collection for nigh on three weeks. Each day either my wife or I would wait after office hours to see if the courier was going to collect and he never did. The imbecile I dealt with via the company's Facebook page was the most incompetent individual ever to sully my Inbox. Utter, utter rubbish.
Issue at every step of the way
1. Scanner not working at hubbed drop off point (delay 1 day to be scanned)
2.3 week no tracking or updates for Sydney to Darwin simple delivery
3. Cant phone anyone and customer service dont provide their name so no continuity in communication
4. System won't allow case/ investigation to be launched for 3 weeks (ridiculous for domestic delivery)
5. One month after sending no outcome and very confusing mixed messaging for customer service which has damaged my reputation and allowed buyer to get full refund so I am at a loss
AVOID. I will be pursuing this through all available channels as this has been totally unacceptable
Parcels never collected, constantly advised it would be the next day however this went on for 2 weeks and gave up waiting around all day!
Customer service use the same repetitive basic scripts for responses without actually resolving issues. Get far better help from BOT's!
Go with a reputable company, do not use this shamble of a business!
Our package was scheduled for pick up on a Friday, Did not happen, same thing on Monday and Tuesday. I finally ended up giving it to one of their drivers when I saw him at our apartment bld. Now they have it in their system since Sept 13, shipped out of their facility. Now 7 days later still no tracking history. How does it travel across the country without hitting a single scanning depot along the way. Have over 35 messages back and forth with their support line, still no resolution
Hi Ken, we understand that your parcel isn't receiving updated scans. Please share your Sendle order reference via private message here so we can have a look into it. Thanks!
This is a review for Sendle in Australia. I implore small businesses to avoid using this company in an effort to save on shipping costs. My parcel has been in transit for 20 days from one state away, usual ground mail would generally take 3 business days max. I know we are in the middle of a pandemic but orders from US and UK have arrived in those 20 days and Australia Post has delivered without issue in under a week.
I have since found out that Sendle is a middleman that contracts out to other courier companies, namely Couriers Please in my case. Tracking indicates attempted delivery (never happened) and card left (never happened) and me twice requesting redelivery (never happened). I can only assume it is sloshing around in the back of a courier van that may return to sender, throw in the bin or deliver when they want.
Check out their social media for more complaints on their service.
I bought some very large used art portfolios from vendors in Sydney and Melbourne and plannied to use Sendle to pick them up. That all happened with no problems whatever and in each case the shipment arrived before delivery deadline. Everything worked -- so YAY!
Nearly two weeks from Gold coast to Newcastle area, Austpost faster than these guys, tracking useless showed in transit from Sydney for a week, Newcastle is only two hours away? Unable to contact, everything automated replies. Do not use if want fast deliveries.
I have been a loyal customer with Sendle for the last 4 years. A rocky start but they soon improved. Lately, they have been totally unreliable particularly when Amarex are scheduled for collection. They have lied on 3 occasions that they "attempted " pick up but my parcels have been clearly labelled and left on my front verandah, like I've always left them, and I've been home the entire time with NO attempted collection. Even with video footage as evidence that no one attempted pick up, their customer service still insisted that their couriers came by. I've had to reschedule several times and it is not only utterly frustrating for me as a small business owner, but for my customers who are expecting their orders. I'll be looking elsewhere as of now. I don't appreciate the misleading information.
It's really rubbish. Positives is that they allow online printing of shipping labels (vs au post which makes you hand write and is also crap). Cons, they pick up but want you to give your Id each time so what is the bloody point. I have to stay home to babysit the package how bloody useless. Then if anything goes wrong there is no help, sendle customer service is total s**t. Completely non existent. Their parcel finding is bulls**t they do t actually look and they say they do so the customer expects a refund, so they cause more problems with their half a** efforts. And their insurance is total bs, they insure it up to the point that it enters an international country and so then ur on your own. What is the frkking point of you?
Package paid for and booked for collection Monday. Not collected.
Its now thursday, still not collected. Needed to be delivery tuesday to lawyers.
Advice from agent was they would not call me - stating email more effective. Informed agent had tried to collect thursday but I was home ALL day no-one tried to collet.
Then told me to cancel and book again.
This has caused me all sorts of problems. Actually it is the second time theI have used them and same experience. Worst of all I had recommended them to other companies and in some instances requested my suppliers use them I am so embarrassed.
Please do not use them!

Maybe just read your "published" negative review as promised showing pictures, sticker info and damages, and the true storey of how irresponsible Sendle can be when avoiding their duty to their customers damaged items Via all the unessessary red tape... was Sendle's avoidance really worth this public review and its repercussions?
" tell me, was it?.
Personally I don't think sendle even cares a hoot...
With this review will the penny drop for Sendle Support now"? I personally doubt it very much.
Lucky for Sendle I've given up this damage case up for now because of all of the red tape that's detered me, of course. Do have a nice day. Be very well.
Kind regards, the review will be on all forums. Kind regards... Robert Woolrich
Our customer's parcel is somewhere. Fresh jerky in there which is rotten by now. You can't phone them... so what to do! Can't trace the parcel and the customee wants a refund... for obvious reasons. So what about a small business loosing money and customers due to poor service from your part. Ten emails later and still no response. I want someone to sort this out or I will take it further! Pathetic!
They marked my parcel as delivered, I contact them since it was not, I was home all day (like all of us during this pandemic) and no one rang, besides I live in a building where they do not allow parcels in the lobby. They tell me they are going to mark the parcel as lost and I should ask seller for refund, but they apparently have proof of delivery and they send me the picture of a bunch of parcels being loaded in, some truck in some warehouse... great! So I reply to them asking to actually locate the parcel since it is obvious its still in their possession from the photo THEY have sent me. No answer nothing... They will not even try to call the driver that took the shipment, nothing. They are just deciding I'm not getting my $500 parcel just because... These people clearly don't want your business, do not under any circumstance give it to them. I get 10+ parcels a months, this is the first time I use them and this is the first time I have an issue of this sort. DO NOT USE THEM
Don't use Sendle if you are a Canadian customer because they have double standards and will treat you worse then It's US customers. For example Sendle offers damage coverage for its US customers but not for Canadians. If your product gets damaged during shipping you get zero nada zilch. When my package was damaged they told me to package it better next time!
The truth is Sendle has double standards: better for US clients and worse for Canadians.
I feel deeply offended by Sendle's prejudiced treatment.
Awful, awful!
Who delivers a parcel at 4am? Then say it was unable to be delivered because of an "insufficient address?" Really? Twice that has happened! And twice I have had to redirect it, and I'm still waiting!
It would also be great to actually speak to someone! Instead of writing out an enquiry form and then getting a generic reply only really telling you that they don't know what's going on! How frustrating! Sorry for the businesses that use Sendle, but any that do won't be getting my business.
Answer: Impossible to get hold of customer service. No phone numbers and they don't respond to emails despite sending an automated response to say they will be in touch.
Answer: Absolutely not. Appalling. False information. I need my wheel battery, they repeatedly said it has not been picked up yet the shop who sent it says it was picked up 4 days ago. They have lied to me.
Answer: I used to use them because they were reliable. Now I wouldnt use them if they were the last courier company on the face of the Earth. Completely unreliable, unprofessional and dodgy.
Answer: I would look elsewhere. They started out good but niw measure boxes by volume which is very costly.
